Our old TV aerial was on the verge of falling off. Called into the Aerial Man mid morning on 7th November. Very pleasant chap in the office gave me a price and advised job would be done that afternoon. Within 30 minutes received a call from one of the engineers, Paul, who asked if he could call round straight away and do the job. Paul was extremely pleasant and the job was carried out quickly and with the minimum of fuss. Would certainly recommend The Aerial Man to anyone.

Our television was losing signal, especially in wet weather. I contacted The Aerial Man after searching Which Trusted Traders. The man who answered my call was very helpful. Andy came to see what the problem was and quickly identified that we had an extremely old aerial on the roof. We moved in around 18 months ago and had no idea how old it might be. Andy gave us a free no-obligation quote there and then and did not charge for the visit. We were happy with the price quoted and one week later he returned to fit a new aerial. He was friendly, professional and explained everything. We were completely satisfied from the first phone call to completion of the work.

Suddenly, after 30 years of perfect performance, our television failed to work, displaying the words "No signal". The next day was the same experience. We contacted The Aerial Man at just after 0900 the following day. He arrived a few hours later that day. The problem was discussed, the solution to the problem explained, an estimate given, and an hour later we had a new, modern aerial, new cabling, and a fully functional TV again. GREAT SERVICE. I contacted the Aerial Man as we have been having problems with 3 TV's that were pixelating, the engineer Lee arrived on the same day. I explained the issue we had, he then removed his work shoes before entering our house and going into the loft where he identified the fault within 10 minutes he then ran through the problem and gave me a price for the work which I was more than happy with, he had the replacement part in his van which he fitted and then reprogrammed the 3 TV's. As a retired engineer I recognised his methodology for the repair as being excellent. I did not know of the company when calling them and when seeing programs such as rogue traders makes you have concerns however this was not the case with this company as Lee was one of the best workman we have had work in our house in the past 25 years.

I wanted to set up a new TV in a bedroom. There was an aerial wire but it was under loft boarding and had been cut off. A previous visit from another service made a thing about having to lift the boards and where to take the wire etc... The Aerial Man - Paul - arrived, was pleasant, took his shoes off, checked all the aerial points in the house, lifted the loft boards, put a new wire in and led it neatly to the TV set below and set up a new amplifier adapter to accomodate this new appliance. He also checked the Free Sat connection which, having previously been told it didn't work at all and that I'd need a new Satillite Dish, I was delighted to be toldthat it did work and as well as every other set in the house. Prices were clearly stated and did not alter. My only disappointment was that the 10% OAP discount advertised did not apply as it ws not a completely new aerial set up - I didn't see that advertised and was in fact reminded in an email confirmation to ask for the discount. That aside I would certainly use The Aerial Man again and recommend them to anyone needing this type of service. Paul has a can-do attitude and just got on with the job, no fuss, no bother and pleasant with it.

We have an amplifier on our roof to drive a split co-axial cable to the front and back of our house. This amplifier is powered by the front co-axial cable and this cable in use all the time. We thought we had a problem with the rear TV Aerial cable as we could not get our second TV to operate. After my phone call an engineer called to diagnose what work needed doing. He tested the back sockets and found a good strong signal. He refused to invoice me as he had never quoted us to do any work. I was very impressed and i went on to tune our not so 'Smart' virtually new Smart TV. A very helpful professional organisation.

Andy arrived today as promised, I only called them yesterday. He quickly fixed a replacement aerial as our old one had fallen from the chimney and was hanging by the cable. I was able to contact the company and arrange a visit very easily and promptly. Andy who came to help me sort out a problem with missing channels on my smart tv was very professional, helpful and patient with me as he fixed the problem. I called The Aerial Man in because I need a satellite dish replaced, they were local, and they had a good score on Trusted Traders. To be fair, the lady who took the call was very polite and helpful, and their fitters turned up 10 minutes before the appointed time the next day. However, upon a visual inspection of the new installation from the ground after they left, I noticed the remains of a number of old bits of cable, cable ties, nuts & bolts etc. in the garden, all just dropped from the top of the fitters ladder, with apparently, no effort made to clear them up. Worse however, I also noticed that the end piece of the house guttering immediately above the satellite dish had come off, and was also laying broken in the garden. The installer MUST have hit the gutter whilst erecting his ladder. I contacted the company by email, showed them with photographic evidence what had happened, and asked for a contribution toward the cost of gutter repair or replacement. In a response, this was just dismissed as 'bad timing', and they denied any further responsibility. This gutter has been on the house without problem for over 40 years, and you can't tell me that the fact that it fell down within minutes of their fitter working in the immediate vicinity is just 'bad timing'! I shall not be using this company again, and suggest others steer clear too.

My old satellite dish got damaged found these guys on the internet. They were brilliant. Came out and replaced my dish within a couple of days. Engineer was very quick, precise and polite. Thank you so much.

Found The Aerial Man on the Internet after my husband accidentally cut through the satellite cable. They were very helpful and sent out an engineer the same afternoon. Andy came to quote for installation of a TV aerial on my roof. After assessing the work and materials needed, he quoted a reasonable price and was ready to carry out the work on the spot. Very pleasant to deal with, efficient and tidy, the exterior cabling was neat and discreet. Andy went 'beyond the call of duty' by removing an unsightly cable box from a previous internet provider, and tuning my TV after the aerial was successfully installed. He even repositioned the TV for me. I am very happy with the work, and would not hesitate to recommend The Aerial Man.

That was great! Someone in the "Nextdoor" online group recommended them. For weeks and weeks I couldn't really watch TV properly. Most channels had disappeared despite retuning over and over, some were flickering or completely static. So I called "The Arial Man", they answered straight away, made an appointment for 1.5 days later, sent a reminder and confirmation text, showed up on time, were super nice, clean, worked out the problem in no time, and for less than £180 had antenna on the roof and cables replaced in less than 45 minutes and now my telly works perfectly again. At least my world order at home is restored! That's how we want our trades people to be. Top Notch!

A superb installation by Lee. He was incredibly thorough and neat and understood our brief, namely to hide the cabling as much as possible due to the age and character of our cottage.

I phoned on the 13th Jan got an appointment for the 14th. Damien came at the allotted time and resolved our aerial problems by fitting a new aerial, retuning both TV's quickly and was very pleasant to deal with. Thank you for your swift efficient service.

After booking an appointment, Dale arrived on time to fit the new aerial. He was very courteous and polite, and completed the work to my satisfaction; both fitting the aerial and drilling a hole for the aerial lead to go through the wall. He took time to tune the TV afterwards. However, it was only after he had gone, I noticed that a piece of stone had been ‘blown’ out on the windowsill outside as a result of drilling the hole. After contacting the company, I was advised to get a stonemason to do the repair, which they said they would pay for. When it was done, they duly paid the stonemason for the work. I accepted that this was something that could happen when drilling through a wall, but what impressed me most was the professional and considerate way they dealt with the situation, to my satisfaction. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.

I noticed on a Friday morning that our old tv aerial had broken free of the restraints and was lying on the roof. As storm Alex was forecast I tried several local engineers and was able to engage Dan Grace to come on Monday, and was pleased to later receive a call that the engineer could visit on Friday afternoon. My wife received a call to say that he was on his way, and turned up in pouring rain and embarked on removing the aerial, and providing a new aerial. The work took over 2 hours and the picture quality is now excellent, and performed for a reasonable price. I can recommend Dan Grace, and Andy who carried out our job, for a great job at a fair price.

Our aerial cable was damaged and aerial was very old. We had a problem with the channels for a long time until today when the very nice engineer turn up and fixed it. All experience was beyond our expectation. We very highly recommend company.

Superb from beginning to end. Initial call was dealt with pleasantly and efficiently. Immediate confirmatory email, reminder email day before and phone call half hour beforehand. Offer to come out the same afternoon (!) which I couldn't manage, so visit to suit me. It was nice - for my security - to see the van with trader's name all over it. Cheerful and efficient guy, Lee. The fee was agreed on-site, a reasonable price, and the work done immediately, even though the visit had only been set up as an inspection. The access was difficult, and the weather gusty and windy, but Lee went out of his way to do the job. I am seriously impressed.

Having a new tv where the picture was breaking up on HD channels, but that a Humax box was giving a good HD picture I had self diagnosed that there was a fault in the new TV tuner. Within minutes of arriving Stuart had confirmed that the same signal was being received at both the TV and the Humax box, but the signal was not that good. Up into the loft Stuart saw that the aerial amplifier was an old cheap device and he showed that it was in fact degrading the signal quality from the aerial. He installed a new amplifier and the signal downstairs immediately went to 100% quality with no more pixelation of the TV picture. Price for the amplifier and work carried out was extremely good value for money. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

For 9 months I had no tv reception. Repeated attempts at trying to get some form of watchable tv failed. Eventually I gave up and googled a local TV aerial specialist and found The Aerial Man. Damien the engineer arrived promptly and took a look and discussed my options. The consultation was free and absolutely no hard sell. So I decided while he was there to get him to fix the problem. Within an hour he had signal and had set up 2 of the main TVs in my house. Picture perfect and clear as a bell. Very reasonably priced, not over inflated and a pleasure to deal with. For a few months my wife and I have had a TV aerial bashing in the wind against the house. It's been next to our daughters nursery and is so loud. I phoned The Aerial Man at 10am this morning, within 1.5 hours I had a lovely chap called Karl turn up, identify the issues and give me some options. As we use Sky for our services the aerial was redundant for now. So he carefully took it down, thus fixing the bashing noise, and has ensured if we want it back up, all the parts are still in good Nick to use again. You never know with tradesman or companies such as this. But I have to say the whole process has been flawless. They should win the Which? best Aerial company of the year in my book as the website, the staff, the service, the cost and the professionalism was the best I've experienced. Always reassuring to find there are still places like this out there working hard. Keep it up guys.

The signal on both my TVs went wrong just two days before Christmas and I was expecting TV addicts to stay for the week. The office phoned me back as soon as they got my urgent email, the aerial man (Lee) came the same day and was able to diagnose the problem which was a very old failed aerial and amplifier. He was able to fit a new aerial and amplifier box in the roof space and completely re-tune both TVs there and then, so I was without a decent signal for only 24 hours. I was very impressed with the speed of response, the service and friendliness.

Arrived promptly and soon discovered there were suitable connecting points already in situ and having connected us up, shook my hand and wished us well in our new abode. This sort of treatment is so rare that I felt I had to mention it.

I phoned today 2nd Oct to request a visit and repair to my aerial signal nothing was working. I had a call back from the office and a visit the same day from their engineer Stuart he resolved the problems and both televisions are now working perfectly. Phoned "The Aerial Man" after randomly finding tel No on the Internet. On the same day an engineer named Dale arrived. I explained I had poor reception since recent freeview updates, and after checking my Smart TV, informed me that I had a poor signal. With no obligation to purchase, I suggested a new aerial, as the existing one had been there for 30 years. With a price agreed a new one was fitted straight away. Every channel now works perfectly. Dale, the fitter, was so polite, civil and Knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to recommend the company.

We had an old existing aerial that had been up for years and during the windy weather the cable had broken and part of the aerial had fallen off. I contacted The Aerial Man via the internet on Sunday and they phoned Monday to come and give us a quote the same day. We decided to go ahead with a new aerial and much to our surprise they did it there and then! Lee was very friendly and professional he checked everything was working correctly before he left. Would highly recommend the Aerial Man I cannot remember the last time I had such a prompt good quality service :-) .

Called on the 29th January and were available the next day, we chose a slot on the 31st. The team arrived as stated and fully explained costs before agreeing any work. We has a dish replaced and some connections repaired. Work was quick and efficient with a good team. I would happily use again.

I contacted Dan because of a fault in my TV aerial wiring. They arranged to have someone come over to inspect and provide a quote within two days. Simon was amazing and super fast, he knew exactly what the problem was, did not bat an eyelid going up the roof and he fixed everything on the spot! Very friendly service as well. Cannot comment on the price as I'm not sure how much others would have costed the job, but problem solved and TV works great. Highly recommended.
