The Garage Door Centre is an independent family run business established in 1990. We are based in Cardiff and we cover all areas of South East Wales and beyond.
We highly recommend a visit to our superb showroom where you can view our extensive range of Garage Doors and Front Doors in full working order in either manual or remote control operation.
We specialize in the supply, installation and repair of all types of Garage Doors and Remote Controls. We also supply and install a superb range of German engineered Front Doors.
We offer a complete personalised service from a full on site, no obligation, free survey to a complete installation by our own fully trained fitters and a comprehensive after sales service.
If it's just a repair you want then call our office where our staff will be able to advise you on any parts and costs involved. The same goes for spares, we carry a vast range of parts and even if we don't stock a particular item we can get it sent overnight.

My old garage door failed. The Garage Door Centre came the same day, tried to fix the problem but both control unit and motor at fault. Went to the showroom and received excellent advice from Robert who arranged for a surveyor to visit. Options decided and the order placed. Kyle and Terry arrived on time to install the new door. The job was completed professionally, cleanly and clear instructions were given. What more can one ask for. If only every company was as good in all aspects there would never be a problem in having any job done from start to finish. My conclusion in two words - "BRILLIANT SERVICE".

A cable snapped on my up and over door at Friday lunchtime - door was jammed open and hanging skew-whiff from one side. Identified Garage Door Centre from Which trusted traders, I was initially given an appointment on the next Monday morning for a quoted call-out cost of £65 plus VAT and parts. When I called back 20 mins later to ask how I could reposition the door so that it appeared closed over the weekend, they looked at the day's schedule and said they could get someone to me mid-afternoon. The garage door was duly fixed by 3.00 at a cost of £102 for twenty minutes' work with new cables on each side - but that is the swings and roundabouts of a call-out charge policy. I was delighted that it was fixed promptly on a Friday afternoon.
