We both bought our open gas fire from Gas Shop and have had them install it and service it for the past several years. Their record is very impressive indeed : knowledgeable, efficient , right on time with appointments, always clean and tidy, and most helpful with advice on CO detectors. We have used the Gas Shop in Watford for over ten years for the installation of and servicing of a gas boiler. They have also carried out other small plumbing jobs for us. They are a local family run company and I can’t recommend them highly enough - they are competent, friendly and get the job done.

We've used the Gas Shop for several years to do our annual service on 2 gas bolers and a gas stove in St Albans. They turn up on time and are clean, efficient and friendly. Donna in the office is also very efficient with the scheduling and paperwork. It's great to deal with a local business, which is also reasonably priced, and I highly recommend.

Phoned the Gas Shop at the beginning of the week and Donna arranged for a boiler service to be completed at the end of the week. I have been using the Gas Shop for many years now for various jobs I have had two fireplaces and fires fitted and had regular service visits. I have always found Terry and his son Chris to be extremely knowledgeable and honest with their advice. We have just had a remote controlled gas fire fitted in my 89 year old mother in laws house as she was having trouble getting down to light the fire. The original fire was installed many years ago and was not a standard size backbox. We thought that the fire was going to have to stay and my mother in law would have to use just the central heating so I called Terry to ask his advice. Terry came around to take a look, measured the fire then phoned one of his suppliers who said they would custom build a fire to fit. The fire is lovely and my mother in law is extremely happy. I would like to thank everyone at the Gas Shop for making this possible.

Everything about the installation of my gas fire went smoothly and efficiently. The service in the showroom was knowledgeable and friendly. The engineer who came round to advise us could talk us through the details of the fire and the process of installation. The fitters themselves were careful, friendly and respectful. We have used The Gas Shop for many years. They repaired our heating after we had used a cowboy plumber, and have done regular servicing plus additional work ever since. Our hot water stopped working and the engineer was here the next day - no emergency call out charge - replaced the faulty part and got the whole thing working again very quickly. Their professionalism and quality of work is amazing.
