We were extremely anxious about changing our 24-year-old boiler. Having searched far and wide. We chose The Gas-Shop. Donna, Chris, Marcus and Terry have been beyond superb, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and utterly professional. An accurate survey, the only people who listened to what we wanted and did all they could to minimise disruption and provide us with a superb replacement Vaillant ecoTEC VUW condensing boiler. A local business to trust and have complete confidence in.

The Gas Shop installed a toilet and basin in a bedroom. Marcus did an excellent job to a high standard. Nothing was too much bother for him. A new room had to be built and Terry arranged for other trade people to do this. Very pleased with the result. Would recommend

I had a problem with water pressure in my house and Terry & his team from The Gas Shop were very methodical in tracking down the problem and doing the appropriate work to remedy the situation. They turned up when they said they would and kept me informed throughout as to what was going on. Terry phoned a few days later to check that the water pressure had been maintained. I've just had two gas fires serviced which I originally bought from the Gas Shop. I have used them for some years now as I know I can trust their staff arriving on time, doing a great job and making sure everything is left clean and tidy. In fact, all their staff are extremely professional and pleasant to deal with.

We've used the Gas Shop for several years to do our annual service on 2 gas bolers and a gas stove in St Albans. They turn up on time and are clean, efficient and friendly. Donna in the office is also very efficient with the scheduling and paperwork. It's great to deal with a local business, which is also reasonably priced, and I highly recommend.

Phoned the Gas Shop at the beginning of the week and Donna arranged for a boiler service to be completed at the end of the week. The engineer attending was very polite and informed what works had to be carried out. A thorough professional job from start to finish. prices charged were very reasonable. I have been using the Gas Shop for many years now for various jobs I have had two fireplaces and fires fitted and had regular service visits. I have always found Terry and his son Chris to be extremely knowledgeable and honest with their advice. We have just had a remote controlled gas fire fitted in my 89 year old mother in laws house as she was having trouble getting down to light the fire. The original fire was installed many years ago and was not a standard size backbox. We thought that the fire was going to have to stay and my mother in law would have to use just the central heating so I called Terry to ask his advice. Terry came around to take a look, measured the fire then phoned one of his suppliers who said they would custom build a fire to fit. The fire is lovely and my mother in law is extremely happy. I would like to thank everyone at the Gas Shop for making this possible.
