The Pure Water People

Kevin arrived to service my water system and was a happy chap explained what he was going to do. Had a nice chat while he was working and answered all the questions I asked. Left everything nice and tidy, excellent job thanks Kevin.

Contacted 2 months prior to due date to arrange a convenient date/time plus quote for cost. Confirmation call 2 days ahead. Lewis called ahead to confirm his arrival time which was as agreed. Completed the service quickly and efficiently, was friendly and helpful throughout and checked that we were happy before leaving. Costs as quoted. We have had Pure Water's softening system for 11 years, have never had any problems with first class service every year. Would have no hesitation in strongly recommending The Pure Water People to others.

After 27 years, our Kinetico water softener, which had never had any attention whatsoever, apart from rinsing out the salt hopper twice in that time, finally gave up the ghost! A phone call to Kathy at the 'Pure Water People', Staple Hill, Bristol was met with enthusiasm, knowledge of the Kinetico product and a clear recommendation for a replacement - not in a months time, not in a weeks time, but within a few days! Charlotte followed the initial call with proposals for the installation date and I was confident from these conversations, that this was going to be a trouble free process - and it was! Kevin, the installation engineer, rang the evening before he was due and arrived on time. A friendly and obviously very experienced installer, he first looked at the installation site - in the larder next to our kitchen - and stated that it would be straightforward. The new softener was brought from the van, taken from its box and its workings - which I was reasonably familiar with - were explained. Well before lunchtime, new by pass plumbing had been installed, the unit was connected and the working area left immaculately clean! Kevin even disposed of our old Kinetico for us. Wow! What an amazing company! An instant response, unbiassed advice, promises fulfilled, staff who were helpful, polite and accessible and no unanswered phone calls or long waits for the phone to be answered! What a change these days! Very highly recommended.

Kevin was on time and very professional, cleaned up after himself. Would like him next time to do the work.

We have been a customer for about 25 years and had our system replaced 2 years ago. Lewis did our annual service yesterday and was extremely efficient and professional, explained all that was being done and how best to optimise the system. Cannot fault the service.

This year we had Kevin come to service our drinking water, he phoned to ask if we'd mind if he came a little early which suited me very well, he was pleasant and efficient, he showed me what he was doing and got on with it competently. He was friendly and professional. The price was exactly as quoted. All good.

Lewis carried out the regular service on our water softener. Was on time, and explained what he was going to do. He was very polite and efficient. Diagnosed a problem and went about rectifying the issue very quickly.

Lewis arrived on time to carry out the service on the water filter and drinking water system. He came last year so we were confident that he would do a good job. Lewis is very helpful and always ready to answer any questions we might have. He always leaves everything clean and tidy, which is very much appreciated.

Kevin performed an annual service on my water treatment plant and rectified some significant frost damage. Work was done efficiently and cheerfully. Overall excellent service.

Mike removed old water softener and drinking Water filters from outside and fitted replacement softener and drinking water filters inside the garage explaining what he was doing all the time. Every thing went to plan he tidy and cleaned up. He spent time given us instructions on the care and operation of the installation. First class service every completed on time and in budget. Mike a first class engineer very polite and helpful. Excellent company.

I had a potential clash with the time of arrival and a work call that I had to go on, but having contacted the office at Bristol they accommodated this last minute change and Lewis arrived well before my work call. Lewis was very thorough with the checks he performed explaining what he had checked in an easy to follow style. The whole service was completed to my satisfaction - which is all you can ask really. The only reason for a 4-star, rather than 5-star rating for customer service is that I would have liked for indoor covers for footwear to be worn, I felt uncomfortable asking and due to having a hardwood floor, many treat it differently than if it were carpeted. Kevin came first on 9 Feb 2023 to install the water conditioner after we moved house. The job was the same as a brand new installation. He arrived about 10 am and worked all day doing all the piping and getting the unit up and running. Unfortunately during our house move the drinking water filter/unit got broken. However Kevin took pictures and reported it to the office. They located a new part and a week later on the 17 Feb 2023 Lewis arrived. He instantly recognised us and said 'you've moved'. Kevin installed the drinking water unit and told us how often to drain and put fresh water though it for the first 24 hours to make sure it was safe to consume. Both Kevin and Lewis were clean and tidy workers, who tidied as they went. We are very pleased to have our unit working again so we can have a proper cuppa with no scum! Very pleased with their work and very professional.

Lewis arrived on schedule to carry out a service. He tested the quality of the water at all taps in the house. He then carried out the planned service. He was satisfied that everything was working OK.

Lewis thoughtfully phoned to say that he would be with us in half an hour, and he was. He was with us for about an hour - much longer than usual - and he checked our water system from top to bottom. He explained the position to us as we needed a new membrane. He had a pleasant cheerful manner.

Lewis came to service my pure water system yesterday. He was prompt, efficient, tidy and communicated well. I was completely satisfied with the service.
