The Pure Water People

Our water system was installed back in March whilst other building work was being carried out. I have delayed the review until now so that we had a true picture of the system working. We live in a cottage which has been extended from every angle so nothing is straight forward. The walls are very thick. Our engineer was Mike and we found him to be very competent and knowledgeable in respect of both the system he was installing and the plumbing in our house. Mike ensured the pipework was hidden (no mean feet through our walls) and all pipework under the sink was incredibly neat and all the rubbish removed. The system itself is fantastic and other than filling the salt chamber it runs itself. We so wish we had had it installed earlier. We would like to say that both Kelly in the office who organised our visits some at short notice whilst our other builders were on site and Mike are both an asset to your company.

We have been really pleased with the water system installed by Pure Water People. The difference in taste and general quality is far superior than normal tap water. We just had our filters changed by Lewis who was really helpful and explained the various filters life spans in detail. I would recommend installing this system as it makes a massive difference to your water quality!

The time had come to replace the original tap we had fitted when out filtration system was installed. The staff at the office were very helpful in sending us out the options to choose from and, when Mike the engineer came to fit the tap, he bought different models with him so that we could see the choices insitu. Once chosen he then carefully fitted it and did an excellent job, very clean and tidy and respected Covid measures throughout. A great job.

I have had a Aquatec system for 25 year, and just had a new one installed which is a lot smaller and will be more efficient to run. I have had good service over the years and the engineers are great and the installation done yesterday by Mike was no exception. Brilliant tidy work and explanation of the working of the new system - cannot fault anything. All the office staff make bookings an easy experience.

We have had our system fitted for over a year now and have just had our first service. The original installation was carried out in a professional and efficient manner as were two small jobs that needed to be completed after installation. The filter system has done all the things we were promised by the representative who introduced us to the system which is really great due to us living in a very hard water area. It did take a few weeks for all the old limescale to clear our pipes, electric shower and hot water tank, but now provides us with quality filtered water. In addition to having better tasting drinking water, a scale free kettle, clear shower screen etc the money we save on cleaning and skin care products plus jug water filters goes a long way towards the running and service costs. All the staff members we have met or spoken to on the telephone have been helpful, friendly and human and it is refreshing to deal with people who care and actually do what they promise whilst providing great customer service. On the couple of occasions we have encountered minor problems the help and advice has been easy to understand and the hiccups sorted. We have no regrets on making this investment, would certainly recommend the whole package and look forward to our future ongoing relationship with The Pure Water People. THANK YOU.

In 2005 I had a water purification system fitted by Aquatec. Over the subsequent years it was run and maintained satisfactorily. When I moved in 2020 I arranged for a new system to be installed in my apartment. This was carried out in a most professional way, following detailed discussion on what system was required, and what could be fitted in the available space. I was impressed with the way Carl undertook the whole operation. In March 2021 I found it necessary to request for a Technician to have a look at a small anomaly, water escaping from the drum and a build up of salt deposit. Mike turned up and explained why this was happening and how he would balance the system to prevent it occurring again by reducing the water level. To my benefit, lowering the water level also enabled me to reduce the amount of salt that I was putting in the drum. Mike was polite with a friendly nature, and I was impressed with his professionalism.

We have had our system for four years now and, despite the high initial cost, have never regretted it for a moment, Lewis arrived on time and carried out the annual service very efficiently. He has been to us before so knew where everything was and it was good to see a familiar face again. As usual he explained what he had done and gave us a few suggestions for the year ahead. We are very happy with the quality of water we get and the service from Pure Water People who have all been very friendly and efficient to deal with.

Mike was friendly and professional he explained everything and showed us how to use the system very clearly. We would thoroughly recommend this company. My Mum and brother also have this system in their homes.

Having had our water softener for exactly three years, it was due for its annual service. Lewis arrived and immediately set to work giving the unit a very thorough service whilst at the same time explaining not only what he was doing and why. He also gave us some useful tips on how to get better use from our unit, he was very friendly and informative. All this was done whilst following the social distancing guidelines. As previously mentioned, we have had the water softener for three years, during this time we have found a great reduction in the amount of shampoo, soap powder, and cleaning materials etc... that we use. Also benefiting from having no scale produced in our kettle, washing machine etc...

The engineer arrived when he said and carried out the work in a very professional way - annual maintenance on our Pure Water System. He explained a number of points that would help us to get the best out of the system which was very helpful. He carried out a number of checks and explanations to ensure the equipment was working at optimum capacity. A credit to his company.

We have our soft water and drinking water system for a year now. There is no doubt that our water quality has improved drastically. Glasses of water are pleasant to drink and we no longer buy any bottled water or most fizzy. There is no limescale in our shower or kettle. We had our first service today and the engineer said the pipe insulation could be improved and he would arrange for the company to undertake the work.

The person who came to service our water system was very efficient and polite. He explained what he had done and confirmed everything was alright.

The fitter arrived on time, was polite and worked steadily throughout the two hours he was here. He explained the new softener and left the area very clean and tidy.

We are very pleased that we made the decision to invest in a Pure Water system and not just a water softener. The quality of the drinking water is perfect. The water is really soft on your skin and It's great to not have limescale on your shower glass! Installation was made more complicated as we already had a Quooker installed but a solution was found by the terrific engineer. Very happy with the result.

A very professional installation carried out by a knowledgeable engineer. The job was completed on time with no mess. Being in a very hard water area the difference in our water quality was really noticeable and we now have no limescale issues. For the cost it is definitely worth considering having a water softener system installed. We would definitely recommend The Pure Water People.

We have always received great service from this Company (Previously as Acquatech) having had our water softener system for some 14 years (it's still going strong) Mike came to relocate the system from the utility room into a purpose built outside unit. This was a lengthy piece of work which took the best part of the day and called on many skills. Mike undertook this with demonstrable expertise and was very friendly, knowledgable and informative throughout. COVID safe rules were adhered to at all times. Would highly recommend.

Great service from Pure Water People. My water purifier was installed some years ago with no problems, they have just completed the annual check while in COVID conditions. Our engineer Lewis was very pleasant, efficient and swift. These guys were called Acquatech when I initially had the installation completed and not had any problems.

Mike Hagues came to do our annual service, and having been the one to install our system he was familiar with our setup, as well as our neighbour's whom he attended to at the same time. I was busy with calls and he was really quick and efficient with my time so that he wasn't a bother, and as always I felt like he really wanted to do the best job he could, and make sure the system was working optimally for us. That wasn't just because he had a checklist to follow, it was more than that. I've always had a good experience with the Pure Water People.

Installation was very prompt following survey. Engineers arrived at specified time, worked efficiently, tidied up after themselves. They were very aware of distancing protocol as visit was during Covid pandemic. I had a few queries after about 2 weeks of the system being installed. Swift visit from another engineer. All my concerns dealt with satisfactorily, and no charge. Very pleased with the pureness and taste of the water we are now using.

Mike was a diligent & knowledgeable Senior Engineer. Provided clarity for a couple of queries & summarised his findings succinctly. Removed all old filters, cleaned surfaces & left zero trace of his presence! Great job Mike

Mike carried out our annual review today. All done very professionally with respect for social distancing in these difficult times. He explained every step he had taken to ensure that our water quality is as high as it can possibly be. The water, from the day the purification system was installed is excellently drinkable. It's hard to imagine how we managed before we took the plunge with Aquatec. But we did and have no regrets.

I give this company 5* on everything. The engineer (Mike Hagues) was superb, excellent standard of work, nothing was too much trouble, he was very efficient, tidy, helpful and friendly. He certainly “went the extra mile”. We are very pleased with our new water system (4 months of using it now) and it is all we had hoped for and more. People comment on how good our drinking water tastes, we have no scale build up in the home at all, less cleaning, less use of cleaning products, very happy customers and would highly recommend.

The 13th annual service on my water treatment equipment was carried out by Mike today. The filter replacements and water checks were completed without any problems. Mike was very professional in his approach to the work and specifically the measures he took regarding my safety and his safety due to COVID 19. He also advised me that I should cover my treatment equipment box lid with roofing felt in order to prolong it's life. A very sound and sensible suggestion.
