The Pure Water People

Lewis arrived on time and explained what he would be doing for this year's annual service. He carried out the service in a very thorough and professional manner and advised me that the system was in good working order. We also discussed future servicing and the fact that the system is 17 years old and would probably require some component replacement at the 20-year mark.

Mike did the annual service efficiently and cleared up everything really well. He also took the time to explain about my very old, But still working system and what could change in the future if I chose to modernise it. An excellent job done as always.

Lewis did our annual water service again. He's done it before and is always efficient and cleans up as the job progresses. He also took the time to explain each step of what he did and made sure we were happy with the work.

The Pure Water People are always a pleasure to deal with. Lewis came to service our filter this year. He is professional, friendly and took the time to give very helpful information to make sure the filter is working for us in the best way possible to suit our needs.

The quality of the domestic equipment is excellent; twelve years down the line with no problems. Servicing has always been straightforward and well executed (even easier with the latest models which allow more self-servicing and therefore cheaper). Staff have always been extremely well informed, tidy, well organised and punctual. In this regard, a particular thumbs-up to Mike.

Lewis arrived to change drinking water filter. I had not thought to replace salt since my husband’s death and it was empty. Lewis explained why this meant he could not do the usual tests but he filled up the salt for me (Very heavy bags kept in garage) even taking the empty bags away for me. He showed me all the components of the system and how I could isolate it if I wanted to use a lot of water on the garden. When I told him that we had given up on using the drinking water tap because it was so slow he suggested a number of ways I could help with this. I now feel equipped to use the system, even buying 10kg bags of salt which are light enough for me to handle. I don’t think Lewis could have done anything more and I felt positive about the whole system when he left. He was polite, extremely helpful, and clearly knows fully about the system. He was professional and pleasant in equal measures.

Mike's arrival was as agreed despite bad weather. Pleasant and friendly nature and gave some useful information re changes to product since our was installed over 15 years ago. The service once again completed and the water softener system still performing well. Very satisfied with the product and worth the cost.

I inherited a Pure Water system and was unfamiliar with its operation, so I contacted the company for clarification. I’d like to thank Mary for her thorough explanation. Since the system had not been reviewed nor had its filters changed since 2018, an appointment was scheduled. Kevin arrived and provided a detailed walkthrough, which has given me a much clearer understanding of the system. He even helped me as I was struggling to fit in a blind after painting. Lee installed a water system in our house and his service was excellent. He did a neat job, explained what he was doing, how the system worked, and talked me through how to use it and maintain it in a clear and understandable way. The system is excellent and has made a difference immediately. Very impressed.

The annual service of our water softener was scheduled for this Saturday afternoon and, despite the presence of Storm Darragh, Kevin arrived on time and proceeded to work (mainly) outdoors in atrocious conditions. The service was completed quickly and without fuss. I thoroughly recommend the Pure Water People and their attention.

It was time for the big filter change in our water filtering and softening system: we needed a man for the job; a good man; Lewis was that man. Tall and dark-haired, he filled the doorway, and he fitted the bill- he also fitted all the filters. He was fast, efficient and friendly, and thorough, very thorough. "Would you fix our wobbling tap?" I asked, tentatively. "No problem" he replied, and he got to work."We fitted that 17 years ago" he said. No wonder it wobbled: there'd been a lot of water under that bridge. "Well, that's all done for you" he said, as he gave us the bill. I was happy to pay; it was a job well done. The system was installed at my home, I am extremely satisfied with the system and the installation was amazing. The installation guy Kevin was very skilful. Did the job with high precision and cleaned. I just wanted to put one thing, while the sale mentioned I will get app-based notification for the salt level check I did not receive any communication related to this or how to configure the system in the app.

We had our water purification system installed about twelve years ago and have had it serviced yearly. This year the service was completed by Lewis who arrived on the date and time as arranged by the Pure water people. He carried out the service very thoroughly, explaining the wiring and the reason for his having to redo a connection. All was carried out competently, reassuringly and most politely. Mike from Pure Water People did an excellent job replacing my old water softener system. He removed all the outdated pipework and installed a brand-new system with great care and professionalism. Throughout the process, he explained everything clearly, ensuring I understood how the new system worked and answering all my questions. Mike was polite, friendly, and very thorough. He also took the time to tidy up after the installation, leaving everything neat and clean. I’m very impressed with his attention to detail and the quality of his work. I would highly recommend.

Annual service of our water purification system. The booking team and the engineer were extremely helpful and all on time. A few minor issues and recommendations were all addressed quickly and efficiently during the visit, great work!

We have used the Pure Water People for very many years and have always found them to be great. Just installed a new up-to-date system - expertly installed by Lee. The fitting was quick and tidy, no mess or packaging left, and exactly as we needed. Lee explained the system differences to our old one and ensured we were happy before leaving. As to the company, phone calls and emails are always promptly answered and the advice given is always good and accurate, they will not sell you something you don't need, which is very refreshing (bit like the water!). If you want water softener and filter systems you'll be hard-pressed to find a better supplier and better after-sales service. We tried other suppliers but none could match.

Lewis, the engineer, arrived on time and completed his work thoroughly and without difficulty. Once again the service from the pure water people has been excellent, and we shall have pure water for another year!!

We had our annual water service completed today by Lewis. We have had Lewis service our system before. He completes a thorough job in testing all aspects of our system and we have never had any maintenance problems. A very conscientious, competent and polite engineer. We have had this water system in place for a number of years now and we are completely limescale free. Certainly a great saving on cleaning products. The water is always soft now thanks to the Pure Water People.

Pure Water People’s salesman explained that a water softener would be fitted at our stopcock under the stairs in the middle of the house. This is not uncommon and “should present no problem” but a route for the drain would need to be found, and also the outside tap is normally not softened and reconfiguring pipe work to achieve this was usually sorted out on the installation day by the engineer and “rarely charged as extra”. I explained in detail about the extension to the house and we concluded that a new cold water pipe from under the stairs to the outside wall of the utility room (ex garage) might actually be easier. After this, we were quoted the price, paid the deposit and agreed an installation date. We were told a survey might be done in advance to establish the pipe routing. This happened and was when the whole thing started to fall apart. The surveyor intimated that all Pure Water People were interested in was simple water softener installations and the additional pipework was not profitable, but he would submit his report and leave it to the office. After waiting several days the office called and said “there was a lot of extra work” so wanted to cancel the installation date. We said no just give us the price so we can decide and keep the installation date. The next day someone senior called, apologised for not providing a price, but still couldn’t, and effectively agreed that profit was their driving force. We cancelled. Very disappointing.

From start to finish Pure Water People were a pleasure to deal with. No pushy sales pitch and the fact they didn't recommend the most expensive option as it didn't suit our needs as well as others was reassuring. Communication from the office was always pleasant friendly and professional. Lee carried out the installation today and from start to finish was an asset to PWP. Not only was the installation of a water softener etc very neat, tidy, when he finished, my kitchen was left as if he hadn't been there. Options for pipework routes were suggested before works carried out and this was followed by a clear and concise explanation of how the system works. Excellent company from top to bottom

Having previously agreed a price, date and time for replacement of our old water softener. Kevin arrived on time, explained how the task would be achieved, agreeing a position for the new unit and the type of tap which would be most suitable. He carried out the work very professionally, explaining where all the valves were, and their purpose. He carried out the work neatly with as little disruption as possible, giving a lot of attention to detail, whilst keeping us informed along the way. On completion, he explained and demonstrated how to replace the salt block, when and how to determine when it needed to be replaced. We would highly recommend this installer.

I have been using this company since 2017. During that time I have only used them for an annual service to the water softener. From the initial two installers, I have had a number of service engineers and have found them all to be be pleasant, clean in appearance, courteous. and tidy in their work.

We had a water system installed in 2002. We recently started to get a few problems and contacted Pure Water People on24/10/2004. Lewis came on 07/11/2004 and our system had seen better times. We had a new system installed on 22/11/2024 by Kevin who was very efficient and professional. Kevin braved a very cold day without complaint.
