The Engineer arrived at promptly 8:50am and left at 9:35am after full completion of work. Everything was checked thoroughly. The filters in the reverse Osmosis unit were replaced. A new filter was installed in the purification tank. The engineer made a recommendation, one has peace of mind knowing that the system is in order and will be dealt with should anything go wrong.

My last service the weather was very wet and cold but he got on with the service in the wet without a moan and completely checked out all the systems in the house. The system was explained to us beforehand, and installation locations agreed. Engineer was on time, smart and very pleasant. He worked very tidily and discussed any points that came to light as the installation progressed. He explained how everything worked and invited us to ask questions about the product and installation. He completed the job within the timescale, but didn't rush to leave until he was totally happy that all joints were sound, and system was working as it should.

We had all three filters replaced this time. The service engineer carefully showed us how we could change the filters ourselves but we know we would never have managed it as they were very tightly fitted. We will endeavour to do it ourselves next year. The engineer was very thorough and phoned office, colleague for confirmation of some things he was unsure of. We are pleased with quality of water and lack of lime scale build up but find it expensive, on going.

The water softeners supplied by Aquatec are just brilliant. We have had one for 6 years now and all our machines are better for it. Kettle looks like it did on the day I bought it. We use less detergent (one bottle of washing-liquid lasts an exceedingly long time), dishwasher needs no salt and cleaning with it means no water marks left behind. Grease also breaks down better - even had bubbles left in your washing bowl after washing up from Sunday Lunch? You do with this - great for hard water areas.

Aquatec installed our water softener and filtration plant in 1998 and have maintained it ever since. When we moved here from Bristol they moved it for us and reinstalled it at this address. We have a maintenance contracted (funded monthly) with them which also covers spares, through some 'consumables' like carton fillers and reserve osmosis membranes cost extra. Basic fillers come as part of the package. We did have to upgrade our obsolete R.O unit when it failed and there was a charge for that.

The system now installed (4 months) has been very good - little or no lime scale evident. Cleaning showers and bathroom utilities is so much easier and no lime scale in the kettle or water jug. The claim that it might help with a psoriasis problem did not materialise.

We asked Aquatec to visit after we were invited to do a water sample. We knew our water was bad because of the effect it was having on our fixtures and appliances. The demo was professional with no hard sell. We had it fitted on the 12/3 and the engineer was very friendly, professional and tidied up after himself. The water system has changed our lives. Our house is cleaner and our hair and skin are healthier. Would highly recommend to anyone living with hard water.

I have had Aquatec Pure Water system for several years and we find such a difference as we are in a hard water area. The water is lovely & soft and we never get any build up of lime scale as we did before. Engineers are always very helpful. We don't get washing machine & shower problems from hard water as we did before having system fitted.

The engineer worked out a still better system for installing the equipment, and the second engineer, fitting the system, did so, on time and with minimal disturbance. The water treatment work is brilliant but not what you want on the front of the house. Mike walked through the options on where and how it could be sited. It needed new internal pipes, hidden behind existing ones. New underground pipes, additional resources, time and people all provided without complaint. Mike's sole aim was to ensure we were happy with the installation and the standard of workmanship. We are. The attention to detail assured us that we had a quality product well installed. No hesitation in recommending the product and the workforce.

Aquatec is a company which offers soft water installations, especially useful if you live in a hard water area. Water then supplied to the house is soft and pure. My daughter, who suffers (used to suffer) with Eczema, now no longer has a skin problem. The softened water is kind to sensitive skin. I absolutely love the system, and it's worth it's weight in gold. Bathing is wonderful. Showering is wonderful. Using less products because the water is so wonderfully soft. every annual check is done to a fabulous and friendly standard. Five out of five all the way!
