The Pure Water People

I recently had a water softener installed by Pure Water People, and the entire experience was fantastic. Neil demonstrated how the system worked beforehand and followed up as promised, ensuring everything was on track. Then, Kevin, the engineer, handled the installation with great professionalism. He walked me through each step of the process, explained everything clearly, and answered all of my questions. Both Neil and Kevin were incredibly friendly, polite, and efficient. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service and would highly recommend Pure Water People to anyone!

We've had a pure water system since the early 2000s, when Pure Water People were called Aquatec. The system has been brilliant and the higher quality water really helped my daughter's eczema. They helped us de-install and re-install when we moved house in 2006, and come annually to service the equipment. They're always friendly, prompt, and tidy. After 20+ years, our system needed an upgrade, and that was organised really well. We've been using the new system for around a month now, and it's excellent. Really happy customer, who recommends this company.

Ever since we had the water purification system installed in 2018 we have been very happy with it. Our mains water never tasted good and left the taps and kettle with a reddish tainted lime scale. Now we have palatable water and no lime scale. The system has been regularly maintained by the company who have always turned up at the time agreed, and their engineers have always been friendly, helpful and courteous. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Pure Water People to anyone wanting clean reliable drinking water.

The Installation went very well. Lee was our engineer who we have had before to service the old system. He was very good, friendly, explained the installation to us and made sure we still had an external tap with untreated water for the pond etc. There had possibly been a potential issue as to whether it would all fit under the sink as the old system was sited outside but Lee persevered and all was well. The cabinet the old system was installed in was removed and everything was left nice and tidy. We are very happy indeed Difficult to determine a rating for value though!

Mike, the engineer from Pure Water People is a nice and considering guy, always came on time and explained in details what he was doing. Left the place dry, clean and tidy as well after he finished his job. Glad to have you every time! Well done!

He is always courteous and polite, helpful with his explanations and advice, and professional, efficient and diligent in everything he does. The team back at the office also look after us faultlessly. I would not hesitate recommending the company and Lewis to anyone that is asking.

Great service from all of the team at the Pure water company. They accommodated a short notice change of date. Kevin came today explained all of what was to be completed an did an excellent job of the installation. Kevin double checked all of the requirements and kept us informed of the progress.

I’ve had a home water softener system from Pure Water People for over 12 years and they have always been very efficient in annual reminders for services and supplying salt. I decided to upgrade the system this year to the latest version and Kevin came to do this on 15 August. He did an excellent and very tidy installation job and removed the old system. Very satisfied with all aspects of the service.

The engineer from Pure Water People came on time, despite driving approx. 125 miles to get here. He immediately got down to work and explained what he was doing. He was very thorough and checked things as he went. He was offered a cup of coffee which was almost cold by the time he drank it as he was concentrating on the job in hand.

The Engineer, Mike, turned up on time and took care to protect my carpets and flooring with dust sheets. He installed a new Water Softener in my new property and was very personable and interested in my recent move having serviced my Water Softener system at my old address for the past 18 years. The work was completed in the agreed time and he left everything clean and tidy as he always has done. I had no hesitation in using this Company again and it was a nice surprise to have Mike turn up.

Mike arrived as expected and knew the system as he had installed it 17 years ago. He changed the relevant filters, checked the system settings and the performance. He was polite, knowledgeable and personable and was able to reassure us that all was well. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

We decided to install a water softener for our new build house before even completing the purchase. We used Which Trusted Traders to find a supplier and The Pure Water People was a clear winner as they specialised in these systems. Booking an initial visit was easy, Neil arrived on time, gave a very useful demonstration of the water softening system, assessed the space available for the installation and clearly explained what our options were. We decided to go for the full softening and filtration option with a three way tap to provide drinking water. The installation was booked less than a week later. Mike - the installation engineer was a lovely guy. He took great care with all our new flooring and fittings, installed the system very neatly - using much less of the storage space than we anticipated. He also provided us with some very good tips on local pubs and walks, as we were new to the area and he was a local, and was generally very good company. The system has been in for 3 days now and we can really see, taste and feel the improvement. There is no scum in cups of tea, glasses are sparkling when they come out of the dishwasher and our skin feels softer after washing. We would strongly recommend this company

We are very happy with our water softener install, the water is very tasty and no more limescale! From the first meeting where Françoise explained and demoed everything in amazing detail, to the installation by Mike the whole process was seamless and the guys were a pleasure to deal with.

The annual service carried out by Lewes was both thorough and done efficiently. He explained various things about the system. He was polite and clean in his work He arrived on time considering the current traffic problems.

Once I decided on installing a softener I looked for a local agent and all the best reviews pointed to The Pure Water People. I had a rough idea of what I needed and contacted TPWP for a home visit. Neill visited and made his suggestion as to what system I should have which was inline with what I had in mind. So far so good. No pressure to purchase and when I was ready I contacted the office where they arranged a day to install to suit my schedule. Mike arrived on time to install and was a consummate professional. Great installation, no mess and perfect clean up. From start to finish a great job all around with good communication throughout. Highly recommended

I recently had The Pure Water People install a water softener at my house. I'd used them for a similar installation at a different address 2-3 year prior. A close relative also had a water softener installed in the last 3 months. That should tell you all you need to know why you can use them with the utmost confidence, but let me highlight a few reasons: - Upon initial inquiry, they were able to have a sales representative/surveyor at my door in a week's time - Their sales representative, Neil, was able to assess, pitch and survey in a single visit. His product knowledge was top notch, as was his ability describe and finalise the finer details of the install - Their installer, Lee, arrived promptly on the day of installation. He wasted no time bringing his vast industry experience and product knowledge to bear on my installation, simplifying the technical aspects and improving the aesthetics significantly - The installation took exactly as long as estimated, and Lee left the scene as clean and tidy as he found it.

Mike fitted a new water softening unit removing the old one, making a new box to house it and putting Cotswold stones around the edge. He was very pleasant and explained well what he was doing and how I am to use it. Work completed and all old material removed and taken in less than four hours.

After many years of wanting one, today I finally had my pure water system fitted. Lee, the engineer was fantastic. He went through it all with me. He was efficient and tidy. Having lived in a hard water area my whole life, it’s absolutely amazing to have such wonderfully soft water now. The drinking water tastes lovely and even my children agree! 19 years ago the Pure Water People installed a water softener. Following the last Servicing of that Water Softener we agreed to update to a new model, Kinetico premier Compact . The new installation was carried out super efficiently by Mike. Over the years he has been most helpful and we have valued his advice. He recommended we opt to have it installed internally as opposed to the previous model that was situated externally. We are extremely satisfied with the new model and its siting. We have been a customer of Pure Water People for many years and have no hesitation in recommending them as a company.
