I wanted Solar panels with a battery installed, however, who do I go to? Octopus and Heatable have their online quotes but their quotes don't include bird protection or any of the miscellaneous stuff. I reached out to George at Solar Co. and he offered to drive over, he sent up his drone to look at the roof and later that day he sent over his quote with the elements he would install. After I called him several times to check on this and that, we agreed a price. On installation day all elements of the Solar Co Team were polite professional and helpful. Nothing was a challenge for them. George called in throughout the day to ensure the project ran on time without any hitches. The day after the installation, George emailed me my certificates and licences for selling to the grid. I am very pleased I went with a local business and went with Solar Co (George & Mark) I would happily recommend Solar Co to anyone.

George, Mark and the team were awesome. Despite the worst weather the British summer could throw at then they delivered - all installed amazingly neatly despite complexity of the existing system. They kept us updated as the project progressed and was all at a very reasonable price. They were recommended by friends and I’d have no hesitation doing the same.

George and his team did a really excellent, precise and comprehensive job for us of fitting solar panels and an EV charger and explaining all of our options and how it would all work so clearly. Competitive rates and especially great communication. Highly recommend.

Solar co installed our system last year. 17 panels, 2 batteries and a zappi car charger. Their prices seemed reasonable and in line with competitors. The installers arrived at the stated time and worked hard to ensure the entire installation was done in one day. The guys were polite , tidy and hard working. The system needed an update on the software and this was done the following day. The system has been working well with the battery back up allowing us to store excess for the following night. We would highly recommend SolarCo as a professional and reliable company with good and prompt customer service if you have any questions or problems.

We already had an ageing Solar Water Heating system that we wanted to upgrade to Solar PV. Having approached 4 companies for quotes, we selected Solarco (Solar & Renewables) for our installation, who were also able to decommission the existing solar water heating system. We thoroughly recommend George & his team on a professional & clean job. Excellent service from start to finish. Both George & Mark made sensible suggestions to maximise the efficiency of the proposed system, involving siting panels on 3 roof areas, including working around 2 Velux windows. The job was completed in 2 days (slowed down due to very windy weather). They liaised with their preferred scaffolding company to erect the scaffolding immediately before commencement of the work & dismantle it the day after the work was completed. George was very efficient in processing the required paperwork (which would have totally baffled me) and was able to advise on the best export tariff to apply for with our energy supplier (Octopus). The work itself was done very cleanly with minimal disturbance to us & I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I chose the Solar Co for a relatively large solar (10kWp) and battery (10kW) installation on my house and outbuilding following a comprehensive search for local installers and having read their excellent reviews. I have been delighted with the service I have received and the quality of the install. Communications with George and Mark have been first rate from initial discussion, through the design and install process to post-commissioning. The options were clearly explained and detailed costings and savings were provided. The install team were great - friendly, professional, tidy and efficient. We even got a few house repairs included in the work. There were one or two complications with the install but there was no moaning from the team - they just got on with it. The system has been operating without problem for a few weeks and we've barely used any grid electricity - couldn't be happier and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Solar Co.

We've been considering installing solar for a while and final decided to get some quotes. We selected the Solar Co as one of four firms to get a quote from. The quote was very competitively priced, but also for a larger system than the other quotes. Really can't recommend George and the team enough. They have been both quick and responsive to the many questions I have raised. The install itself was done very quickly and to a very high standard with the finish being really neat and tidy. I was especially impressed that George was on site to monitor progress, both with the install itself, but also the erection of the scaffolding. They have also been super quick with processing the paper work to allow us to get on to an export tariff to make the most out of our new system. Thoroughly recommended local company!

George & team was great. Installation of integrated panels done as had roof replaced at same time and they look great. Left all liaison with roofers to ageoege and no issues whatsoever. Everything seems to have gone down well with no issues. Communication and interaction/accessibility very good. I’d recommend without hesitation.

George and Mark have been excellent in guiding us through our journey to solar. They are Knowledgeable about their product and explain how the system works in simple layman’s language. The pricing was competitive, timelines agreed and adhered to and installation took 1 day with their excellent team and with George and Mark both on site at regular times. A follow up visit has guided us through the system and how it works, best energy compatible providers and tariffs and a demonstration off the app. Pre/install/post engagements have all been excellent. I wanted a local company which I found on the council website. From the start I found George to be very knowledgeable and professional. The work was done cleanly and he we very patient with my elderly mother. It’s really reassuring that he is available for support and recently reconnected the app after a software update. Overall very happy with the service.
