We decided to get a quotation from Tile Energy after a recommendation from a family member. Craig from the sales team came out to our house to conduct a full survey and answer any questions that we had. Craig provided us with a full overview of the system they could provide to us. We agreed on a total of 16 solar panels, the Solar Edge inverter technology system and a TESLA Powerwall 2 AC battery. Once we paid our deposit a project team was appointed to manage our installation. The customer service that this team provided has been outstanding, everyone was very professional and friendly. Both the distribution company contracted to deliver the system units and the scaffolding company personnel were all very professional and represented Tile Energy very well. The installation team arrived on time and gave us a full overview of exactly what they would be installing. The whole process took just over one day and the quality of their workmanship was of a very high standard. Overall, Tile Energy provided us with a first class service with an amazing commitment to customer service. We would highly recommend Tile Energy to anyone looking to install a solar panel and battery system.

The work was quoted by Tile energy and was one of three quotes but Tile Energy were the only ones that listened to what I would like and quote me correctly. The installation has been carried out to a high standard and i am very happy with the finished installation. When they did not finish on the date they promised mainly due to bad weather the office kept me informed as to when it would be completed. I had to wait 5 more days for completion but they turned up as promised and completed the work. The electrician was excellent. I have recommended to other family members and would have no problem using them again

Positives: TE install industry leading SolarEdge gear; there is usually someone available to talk to at the helpline. I'd love to be able to say all went well, alas it did not. The contract did not include a timetable of work. Relying on the sales message in this respect left too much room to interpretation and misunderstanding, which did happen. The scaffolders were extremely unreliable. Elevation/removal dates moved many times, causing delays, wasted effort and frustration. On their last visit, the scaffolders fly-tipped a stray tree branch against a neighbour’s garden wall. After the scaffolding had gone, it became clear that four gutter support brackets suffered damage. Communication between office and those working on customer premises: room for improvement. E.g. the installers were unaware that the job included the bird guard until I pointed this out. Next, I was assured twice by office staff that a certain job had been agreed, only to hear the electrician deny any knowledge of this, also twice. At one point, TE reissued the contract; this was triggered by a minor change to the panel spec (415 to 420 Wp). I noticed that, unexpectedly, the update was not limited to the 'panels' entry but the general contract wording changed, too. So I had to reread 30+ pages and rediscuss my findings; could have done without this. I could go on. All that said, I'm happy with the system. If long term reliability and aftercare is good I may come to view TE more favourably in future.

We contacted Tile Energy following a personal recommendation and reading prior reviews. Our initial contact was with Ahmed, who was excellent in listening to our requirements and suggesting options. We ultimately decided to go ahead with a 24 panel SolarEdge system and Tesla Battery. Due to supply issues following high industry demand the delivery of our system was going to be some months from the design stage, but this was made clear. The price of the system was locked in from the agreement date and remained unchanged. India and Demi were happy to provide updates and work around our plans when install dates arrived. Everyone we met or were in contact with through the process were very friendly. All work was completed to a high standard. We are very pleased with the final result. A special thanks goes to Leke as well who assisted with information to ensure that we could have an install with no cables showing.

Among the several solar installation companies that we interviewed Tile Energy came out as being the most knowledgeable and least pushy. At that time there was then an explosion in the demand for solar panels and, not surprisingly, a significant delay before our installation. The only gripe that we had was that, prior to installation, we should have installed a comms cable from the garage to the consumer unit. We had not been told about this. However, the installation went according to plan and installed by the companies own employees. We had rejected other companies who we suspected would sub-contract out the work. The system has been running for a few weeks now and we are pleased with the results. The after sales service has been particularly good and Liam has quickly supplied us with answers. I would certainly recommend Tile Energy to future customers.

6kW Solar PV System with Tesla Gateway 2 + Powerwall 2 Tile Energy have provided me with a positive, informed experience from start to finish. From my initial contact after an industry tradesman recommendation for the type of system I required, all Tile staff have been helpful. Leke, the sales lead engaged with good, clear comms and pandered to my inquisitive nature supplying me with sound answers to my many queries. Although my order coincided with the start of the 2022 UK energy crisis, lead times were explained (and kept to). Whilst I may have had to prompt for feedback and information at times, the responses were always forthcoming and timely. The handover pack I was supplied with was comprehensive and in my dealings with the electrical installation team I found them friendly, efficient and professional. Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending Tile Energy for anybody considering a solar PV installation - indeed l already have. RJ - Dorset

A great company to do business with. Good system specified with good quality components. From the initial visit to final commissioning I found the company responsive to any questions asked. Shortages of components worldwide presented challenges that were dealt with efficiently. All trades, scaffolders, installers and electricians performed their jobs really well and efficiently. Capable and pleasant people to have at your house. All waste was removed. One problem occurred after the commissioning of the battery, this was dealt with very proactively in a couple of days. Now having had the system fully running for a couple of months not only am I very pleased with the investment but I am also very pleased that I picked Tile Energy.

I chose Tile Energy over two other companies because their response to any of my questions was much faster and more detailed than the others. Their price was competitive, not the lowest cost but I felt the best value for money in terms of my perceived impression of what after-sales support would be like. So far this has proved to be correct. During the commissioning process, a few problems were encountered but all were corrected. The installation plan went exactly according to schedule with very minimal disruption. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't want and were very honest in their assessment of what I wanted so overall I would recommend Tile Energy and give them a 5 Star Rating.

We contacted them in late January regarding the installation of solar panels. Someone rang us within 24 hours to arrange a time for an engineer to call us to discuss the project. He gave us a lot of useful info and by 7/2 we had signed the agreement and paid the third deposit. They then applied for the licence to go-ahead from the grid which we were warned would take about 8 weeks. In April they contacted us to say they had not had the response yet but could they install the panels as they had engineers available, we agreed, they were installed 25/4, they had to respond to the application on 3 May, rang us and they then returned to complete the installation on 5th May with the scaffolding being removed 2 days later. All the way through the project they did what they said they would on the day they said. The engineers were very nice and considerate. They gave us a great amount of information from the start and as soon as it was completed they provided certificate details of how we monitor the system. We were never left in the dark. The only hold up was due to the Electricity provider and this was largely due to the large number of applications going through due to the fuel price hike. We are so happy we used Tile Energy!

My Solar Edge panels x 16 & Zappi car charger were installed end of March 2022 and I am delighted! On average, so far my panels are producing 115KWH per week, I use about 60-70KWH per week. On a sunny day 24.5KWH, on a cloudy day the lowest they’ve produced is about 8KWH. They are great! From start to finish Leke was responsive to all my phone calls, my numerous questions, he explained everything in a non-patronising but clear way. He did not push, no hard selling at all. I obtained quotes from 2 other suppliers & I found Leke was the most straightforward, most clear. Once I made my mind up, it took me a year to decide, my panels were installed within the same month. Leke & his team coordinated everything so smoothly, scaffolding, delivery of panels/materials, installation & clear up. No hassle, no fuss. His electrician James & installers Simon & Kane were lovely, very efficient, but also a pleasure to have in my house. Genuinely nice gentlemen. Amazing 5* service all round, thank you Leke & team! I am highly recommending Tile Energy to all that ask about my solar panels.

A great company to use, very reliable!
Leke and team were great. I spent a few months researching the solution that I wanted and Leke was really good at explaining the options available. The install of the panels was fast and in fact the tile energy team managed to improve the panel layout design so we would get an extra panel! There was a wait for the battery (due to supplier delays) but now we have the battery installed and everything is working file. Tile Energy are a great company to use, very reliable, competitive pricing and easy to deal with!

From the start we were given clear down-to-earth advice on the type of system that would be suitable for our house and quickly given a very competitive quotation. The quotation was very comprehensive and enabled us to understand the likely system output and confirm there would be no issues with planning permission etc. On the day of installation, the panels were installed quickly and efficiently on the roof followed by the cabling and inverter in the garage. The whole system is neat and tidy and was up running by early afternoon. Over the last few weeks, the system has performed faultlessly and has already produced 450 kWh. We are very pleased with the supplier and the system they installed.

I had a major problem with my PV system, birds had got under the panels and caused some major damage, broken cables etc. A rep. from TyleEnergy came along very quickly and confirmed what the fault was. I decided that the best option for me would be to replace the whole system. The company got back to me very quickly with a very good quote that I accepted. The problem first occurred in December 2020, they had the job completed with everything up and running before the end of January 2021. The company were a pleasure to deal with, very helpful, the installers were tidy, clean and very understanding. For my wife and myself it was an experience of goodwill and good business. I would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone needing help with their PV system.

I chose Tile Energy because they gave me the most information on the work involved and were a reasonable price. I was also given advice on how to get the most out of the system once it was installed, which has enabled me to cut my electricity bill considerably. I felt that a genuine effort was made to give me the system which best suited my needs. The work was completed in a day, in the baking heat. All the men were very pleasant and helpful and worked hard, leaving everything clean and tidy, and the roof looks good. I have had a lot of questions, before and after the installation. We choose few PV panel installers from Which Trusted Trade in addition to Tile Energy. The sales person Leke visited our site before he gave us his quote. We have 3 phase supply this made the installation more complex. Leke proved to be knowledgeable, thorough and very helpful, he explained how the system will work and was up to date with regulations, tarif, etc. Nothing seemed a problem to him. He informed us of what changes or modifications we need to our electric system and he took measurement and photos of the roof etc and checked for any potential problems. When he sent us his quote, we were confident that quote was realistic with no surprises and it was reasonable too. The system was installed two weeks later on schedule and the installer Andy and his helper were very focused, knowledgeable, courteous and keen to do a good job; We just wish more trade people can be like them. The whole installation took 1 day with no disturbance to us at all. 2 days after installation Leke contacted us to say that he has been monitoring the system from his end and he can see that it is not working as it should do. He asked us few questions, after diagnosis he identified the problem and put us in contact with the software person who fixed it there and then. We are so happy with Leke's service and Andy + his helper that we can honestly & confidently recommend this company and the team to our friends and family. Thank you Leke, Thank you Andy + helper.

The 3 Tile Energy employees Andrew, Daniel, and Kane, arrived early at the time expected, got to work with minimum fuss, and completed the job by early afternoon. They were very nice people, and a pleasure to have around. They coped admirably with the debris left by pigeons who had nested under the PV panels, which couldn't have been a pleasant job! It would have been helpful to have had an advance written commitment to clean the panels of any staining, and to replace any broken tiles under the panels. I believe they did this anyway, but an end of installation photograph would have been a nice professional touch. This is meant as a constructive comment, and not as a criticism. Overall very happy with the end result, and I look forward to monitoring the ongoing performance of my PV panels!

Overall the contractor was highly professional in both the initial consultation and final installation. As a retired engineer, my questions were answered in detail during a 2 hour initial visit by the technical director - previous visits by other contractors were lightweight sales people. The quotation was detailed and competitive. The original installation date was delayed due to the COVID lockdown but we were kept informed of the changes. The installation team completed the work in less than a day and were very tidy and aware of the need for social distancing. We have recommended the contractor to a number of friends who have expressed interest in a similar installation.

I had Tile Energy quote for and then install a 5.4KW solar PV system on my garage roof. They were by some distance the cheapest quote. I had to delay the project/installation by a year, but a no point did they become pushy or overbearing. Their service was at all time friendly and attentive. They responded promptly to questions and were flexible when they needed to be (they even helped me out at short notice when my electrician failed to turn up). The system was installed on time and is functioning perfectly.

The decision to buy the installation through Tile Energy was easy to make after my initial meeting with the company’s representative, Leke Alabi, who provided detailed answers to every question I had as well as making a number of recommendations that I had not previously considered. The company also had several positive recommendations on Which? and checkatrade.com but after meeting with Leke, it was crystal-clear that the company totally understood the products they installed and my own personal customer requirements. The presales literature was very professional and Leke was very quick to respond to any questions I had prior to signing the contract. The installation is now almost one year old and during that time, I have monitoring the production and consumption, all of which is easy to do using the supplied apps. I have also changed my electricity provider tariffs a few times to try and discover which give me the maximum savings but, as things stand, the ROI of the entire installation will be almost exactly as Tile Energy predicted. My monthly electricity bill, including full home-charging of my EV (approx. 25 miles per day) is now around £40 from Octopus Energy, using the tariffs mentioned in point 3 above. Previously, I had been paying £75 - £80 per month. I had eight solar panels installed on the roof of my new house. I had looked around online for a supplier and contacted three companies for quotes and availability Of the three agents that visited my house I chose the one that I felt more comfortable with. Tile Energy had a competent sounding salesman knew his product and what a pleasure it was that he just presented the product without any rubbish sales jargon like "buy it today and get 50 per cent off", I hate that sort of pitch. So I felt no pressure in making my choice. Which turned out to be the right one as from the word go I had great contact with the people in the office who were really really helpful. On the planned day the solar panel fitter and electrician arrived as expected and within four hours the job was completed. no mess, professional in their work and there manner. Afterwards the company completed all the required paperwork and I was sent all the guarantees within a short space of time. I have, since using Tile Energy, recommended them to many people and have no qualms about doing so.

Installation of a 4KW Solar Panel Array and Inverter. This was carried out over a tricky large conservatory. Sales person was surprisingly not pushy and appeared to be very honest and sincere. His level of knowledge was absolutely excellent and he was able to explain which options would be best suited to our needs. In the end we were offered an excellent quote that was significantly cheaper than another much larger firm that also quoted. From paying the initial deposit to completed installation only took about 3 weeks. Scaffolding was erected very quickly over our conservatory. There was a slight delay on solar panels as they were held up at customs, but Tile Energy kept us informed frequently and were very apologetic for something that was essentially outside of their control. Once the panels arrived, they were installed over 2 days with the inverter. I have to say I was impressed with how neat and tidy everything was. The small amount of exposed cabling to the downstairs circuit box was very neatly pinned to the edge of the roofline. The work in the loft was equally neat and tidy, they even fitted extra socket extensions so that the monitoring system could use my powerline WiFi adaptors. After installation, the salesman returned on a Saturday to demonstrate the use of the system to myself and my partner. This was helpful as I was working in London during the week so could not see it at the time of installation. I have heard some horror stories about solar installations, but I really have to say that my experience with Tile Energy was professional and fast with good communications. The system was installed exactly as expected, there were no hidden extra charges and I think I got excellent value for money. They exceeded my expectations. I've had the system for about 9 months now. Very happy with it. The system came with an app that constantly provides data on how much energy is being generated by each panel. On one occasion, my home wi-fi fell over and Tile Energy rang me to ask if everything was ok because they could see that the online communications were not updating the data feed. Highly recommended.
