Tincknell Heating

David Wilcox has serviced my boiler foir a number of years now and it is always a pleasure to welcome him on site. He is friendly, couteous, knowledgeable and always ready to answer questions. As far as I can judge (I am not an engineer!), his work is thorough and careful, and the site is left clean and tidy. He fully explains what he does. I have absolutely no complaints with his work and the boiler always works well and efficiently after his service. Well done, David. You are a credit to the company!

We called Tincknells after discovering an oil leak. Their response was quick and covered by our service agreement. Engineer Steve Ingman identified a faulty hydraulic ram in the boiler which he replaced. He has usually carried out our annual boiler service (also covered by our service plan) in recent years and is always professional, competent, friendly and thorough, and keeps the work area clean and tidy.

This was the first time I had used Tinknells to service my oil fired boiler. Steve, the service engineer arrived promptly at the arranged time, and was competent and methodical in his work. The basic service was pre paid, but 3 additional items were identified as needing to be replaced. All of this was clearly explained, and the extra costs were detailed. When the work was completed the work area was left clean and tidy, and all materials were removed. The service sheet detailed the work done and showed the additional costs. A final invoice for the additional costs was received promptly.

Tincknell Heating, with whom I have a 'Breakdown Plan', have carried out services and repairs on my boiler and central heating for many years to the highest of standards. In early May I had a problem which I reported. An engineer arrived the same day, inspected the system, diagnosed the problem and identified the need for a replacement actuator. The following day another engineer arrived, fitted the part and inspected the system which then revealed a quite separate issue that required a replacement pump that was ordered immediately from the supplier. Although it took several days to arrive at Tincknells this was not an inconvenience and on 9th May an engineer and then an electrician attended, fitted the new part and ensured our system was working faultlessly. Once again Tincknell Heating engineers, electricians and clerical staff demonstrated that, at all levels, they are thoroughly professional, efficient and reliable and that they are totally committed to customer care and speed of action. In short they are a credit to a company that provides such a reliable service – this I find to be so reassuring in an age where such reliability is often in short supply. I have no hesitation therefore in recommending this company to others who may have similar requirements.

I have used Tincknell's to service my boiler for the last 50 years and never had cause for doubt about the quality of the work. Our current engineer is very friendly and leaves the work area clean. This was a routine service with no unexpected costs. If something goes wrong and a repair is needed, I know Tincknell's will do their utmost to fix it promptly. I am so grateful to Nick for all his help when my oil tank had a leak. I haven't used Tincknells in the past but couldn't get any help from my usual oil supplier. Although they were already very busy, Nick arranged for Mike to visit the same day & in fact, I only had to wait for a few hours before his arrival. Mike was also really helpful, sealed the leak & promised a quote to be sent to me quickly, which it was. On the arranged day, Mike & Gary arrived promptly & did a great job, emptying out my old tank, completing the ground work, removing the old tank & installing the new one. Thank you so much guys for making a pretty stressful time much easier to deal with. I will happily recommend you to others & will be using you as my oil supplier in the future.
