Tincknells serves customers across Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Avon and south Gloucestershire. It’s already a well-known name in the South West, with a great reputation for integrity and customer service. Company director Rob Ormond and heating services manager Richard Beck both emphasise that Tincknells is a ‘modest’ company, concerned more with providing a good service than making a fuss about it. But its recent win could change all that.

Tincknell Heating Services is one wing of the long-established fuel business, Tincknell Fuels. ‘It’s a win for the industry,’ said Rob Ormond. ‘The fuel industry, which we’re part of, doesn’t always get the best press, but this is a really positive step.’
Winning the Which? Trusted trader of the year award and being elevated above the thousands of other businesses on the Which? Trusted Traders scheme means a lot to the company. But it’s adamant that this won’t change the way it works.

Tincknells have been fantastic in resolving a problem with installing an oil tank & boiler which other contractors had failed to do for over 4 months. They worked hard, were polite, kept me fully informed and I am now the very pleased owner of a boiler & oil tank that work! I would recommend them highly & they deserve their Which report.

The installation of a new oil boiler was achieved hassle free and with much less upheaval than expected. The engineers were very pleasant, polite and professional. The information given was adequate and to date there have been no problems.

From the initial survey through to final installation we found Ticknells service to be excellent. Ollie, Liam, Liam and Steve replaced our floor standing old boiler with a Combi boiler. They were friendly, efficient and very tidy. The work was completed with a minimum of disruption, to a high standard and on time. We would not hesitate to recommend Ticknells to anyone needing a replacement boiler.
