Tincknell Heating

They installed a new combi-boiler and reinstated, re-sited and replaced radiators. The team of four were fast-working and, as far as I could tell, meticulous. They addressed any unforeseen hurdles with good humour and a can-do attitude. We felt reassured by their cheerful professionalism, and the excellent backup from the office and the surveyor. They completed the job well within the time allotted, and cleared up after themselves. They briefly explained how to work the system. A huge bunch of flowers appeared on the dining table, which was an unexpected delight. The heating system works well, and we are comforted to know they are just up the road if it goes wrong. A couple of tiny irritants: the boiler team could have swept up a bit more carefully after the first day's work; also, they left a small hole broken in a piece of chipboard flooring, which we'll have to patch up. Generally excellent, and I would wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you, team.

After a series of intermittent problems with our 12 year old central heating system which Tincknells did their best to resolve, we decided to have the boiler replaced together with the troublesome valves. This was done on the agreed day. The team arrived on time, were pleasant, quiet, wore masks all the time and left everything clean and tidy. All now well. We particularly like the fact that they are a local company. My wife particularly appreciated the big bunch of flowers they sent!

The repair man was fast and very friendly as we have had him before. He put a part in and its been fine since. Good service, very satisfied.

We had a great experience with Tincknells. Work was carried out promptly and within agreed timescale. We required a combi boiler to replace an old heating system. An engineer took time to do a site visit and discuss the options so we were able to decide what best suited us. After the installation the engineer took the time to explain the controls and recommended how to get the best out of the system. Great job efficiently done.

We had a fault with our boiler and called for urgent help. 24 hrs later we were up and running again, with the problem diagnosed and new components fitted. Andy the engineer was most helpful and very thorough in checking the usual components for problems and carried the necessary parts in his van. A first-class service.

Work involved the removal of old heat storage cylinder and installation of an unvented cylinder. The old cylinder was approx. 25years old and the installation involved a considerable amount of new piping. The work was done on time and to the agreed cost. The installation team worked as a very effective team and clearly very knowledgable. Clear explanations given at the end of the installation to ensure full understanding of how the system worked.

Tincknell installed our current heating system a number of years ago. They have serviced and maintained the system annually ever since, keeping it running perfectly. The Tincknell engineers have always been friendly and efficient, carrying out the work promptly and to a good standard.

It was nice to see a familiar, friendly face and he was extremely helpful, coming into the house, removing his shoes and helping me sort out an issue I had with a thermostat on my immersion heater, over and above the boiler service he was here to do. Thank you!

Tincknells replaced our old faulty boiler at short notice and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Very impressed with the standard of work, Lee, Jamie and Liam were very helpful and friendly and did a very tidy job - no mess left behind. They were very experienced and knowledgeable and we were so pleased with our new boiler.

Jamie and Liam moves out boiler and extended the flue so that the fumes were kept well away from our door. They were helpful, prompt and tidy. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their boiler.

We unfortunately, and unexpectedly, had to replace our oil fired boiler. Tincknells did a very efficient job. They were knowledgeable, tidy and paid attention to every little detail, above an beyond my expectations! I would definitely recommend them.

The Tincknell engineer Paul, yet again provided us with excellent service, prompt, polite, efficient and highly competent. We will miss him when he retires, but are confident his replacement will maintain the high standard that has been set.

Steve Ingram carried out both services very efficiently as usual. He is unfailingly courteous and helpful and we always prefer him to service our equipment.
