From the moment I telephoned Nick Turner, things progressed rapidly. Within 2 hours Tincknell’s had sent a reprentative, and later that same afternoon a specialist team came by. Nick could not have been more helpful. An appointment was arranged for just three days later to replace my mother’s old oil tank, and the team that came did a fabulous job. Tincknells could not have reacted quicker to my mother’s predicament , and I am very grateful to all of them. What a professional and caring enterprise. I hope the Chairman reads this Thankyou.

As ever Tincknell's provided an excellent service. I have had to call on them for various reasons in 2020 and every time they have gone the extra mile to provide the help I needed with oil deliveries, tank replacement etc. All work has been done efficiently and in a very friendly manner. Well done to all Tincknell's staff both in the office and on the road.

We have used Tincknells to service our gas central heating system for several years and are pleased with both the quality of the work done and the charges. During a recent service we mentioned occasional malfunction of the ignition on the heating and hot water system so they made serveral visits checking possible causes, starting with the cheapest option. As the bill mounted up it seemed that a total replacement was the best option. This was carried out over two days. The first day involved setting up scaffolding which was well thought out as the scaffold company had made a previous site visit and recommended a cheaper option. Scaffold was.up and down on the first day and the work was completed on the second day. All work was clean and they consulted with us as the work progressed. A return visit after completion was no problem to clarify operation. We were not charged for the original service or fault-finding visits and parts which is very decent customer service.

We cannot praise the team at Tincknells enough for their professional friendly and prompt actions experienced when our boiler started to overheat the house. I live with my mother who is in her 80's who has medical issues, therefore we keep the temperature to 21, however, even she was feeling the heat at a balmy 26. I reported the fault in the morning and was told someone would be out but priority would go to those without heating so may not be today. Later in the afternoon we had a call and some came out and fixed the fault. The fault was identified and faulty valve replaced there was no mess and control panel was explained we were not confident with the controls. Thank you to the office staff and maintenance Engineer all of whom were polite and professional at all times

We decided to relocate our central heating boiler from the kitchen and on advice from Tincknell Fuels Ltd. we had an outside boiler installed. Tincknell provided us with a quotation which we accepted and the work was scheduled for October 19 and 20. The team of two engineers together with an apprentice arrived on the 19th. and on time. We were pleased to see that the two senior men treated their apprentice with consideration and integrity. The installation team were very caring and careful in moving around our property. We were very impressed with the professionalism and hard work of the men and the installation was completed on time and in budget. There was a minor problem found late on the last day which was dealt with to our satisfaction the following day. We would have no hesitation in recommending TINCKNELL FUELS LTD. for their quality and service.

Paul usually carries out the annual boiler service for us. He is very thorough and always goes the extra mile to solve any problems.

It was a pleasure to have Oliver, Liam and Steve survey our home and upgrade our old internal Worcester boiler to an external one. As a customer of some 20+ years it came as no surprise that the installation team were polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to have them working in our home as they observed the new and ever changing Covid protocols.

This service was completed in the latter stage of Covid Lockdown but in accordance with a Safety Protocol prepared by Tincknells and agreed with me in advance. The engineer arrived on time and adhered to the guidance in the Protocol throughout. Once he'd completed the service he left me a Service Report Sheet & verbally explained what he'd done. Despite the Covid strictures & unseasonally wet weather he conducted himself in a professional, respectful but nevertheless cheerful and friendly manner and left the premises as tidy as he found them.

Despite the complications arising from the pandemic and lockdown our service was completed as near as possible to the original appointment. In the interim we were kept fully informed. The service was completed efficiently as usual.

Completely professional from start to finish. Boiler now installed in our garage. Excellent communication throughout. Extremely happy with the result.

Lee and Liam did an excellent job. They were very polite, very tidy. They managed to fit some extra radiators for me. Which surprised me with the lock down and managing to get radiators. Our oil boiler was installed and is maintained by tincknell heating. Boiler fitted 4 years ago and regularly serviced,always carried out efficiently clean and tidy.not a single problem todate very pleased with the service they provide, would not hesitate to recommend them.

Due to Covid 19 our regular Aga service date had to be cancelled. However as lockdown eased Tincknells contacted us to rearrange a new service date if we wished to proceed. We were told exactly what to expect and sent a follow up email to confirm the arrangements and requirements. On the day the Engineer arrived at the expected time, carried out the work diligently and explained all that he had done after first establishing whether or not there were any specific issues or problems that we needed him to address. He tided up after himself and ensured that all was in order before leaving the site. Everyone involved in the cancellation, rescheduling and carrying out the Service was professional, courteous, friendly and apologetic for the delay which was clearly unavoidable and beyond the Company's control. Can't fault any aspect.

From first coming to quote for the work for a new oil fired external boiler to installation Ticknells did a first class job. I particularly liked the fact that Ollie came to quote and he headed up he team of installers. Nothing was a problem, they communicated throughout the job and did a high quality installation. They were problem solvers, always polite and helpful. They came on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. They were careful to test everything and left plenty of time to ensure everything was working properly before they left. I had clear instructions on the system I am delighted with the result. Tinknells have serviced my boiler for a number of years and they are always very quick to come out if you have a failure and do not leave until they have sorted the problem. I would not go anywhere else.

Our 25 year old oil-fired boiler developed a water leak on 11th May and after contacting Tincknell Heating, an engineer arrived a few hours later. He confirmed what I expected; that the boiler was finally unrepairable. Tincknells then sent one of their installers the following day (12th May) to carry out a survey for a new boiler, emailed a competitive quote the same day, and confirmed that they could install a new oil-fired boiler and balanced flue the following Saturday (16th May). We agreed to the installation and everything was back up and running by 3pm on the Saturday. Considering that this was at the time of a coronavirus pandemic 'lockdown', I consider this level of customer service exceptional. Throughout the 6 day period, Nick Turner, the Installation Manager, kept me fully informed of progress and checked that we were happy with everything after the installation. We have dealt with Tincknells for over 20 years (oil deliveries, boiler servicing, oil tank installation and now a new boiler) and have always found them to be good value for money and provide excellent, prompt and reliable customer service; they have our strongest recommendation.

Tincknell Heating installed a new external oil boiler, removed the old boiler and replaced 16 radiators for us. We chose Tincknell Heating because they had a large team to call on and the quality of their brand and work looked clean and efficient. it prooved to be a good decision as they sent an experienced and friendly team who got the work done in the time they quoted and to a high standard. They were confident with their pricing but were also willing to adjust it when we reduced the scope of the job and tested some unknowns once onsite. We would recomend them to others as a quality supplier.
