Contacted Tommy early January as needed our garden dog-proofing . Tommy visited within 48 hours and provided a quote that same day. We agreed for the work to be completed 24th and 25th February. Work was to erect a new fence which required the removal a number of small trees and shrubs so the fence could be erected. Tommy and his team worked tirelessly on both days, made an excellent job of the garden clearance and the fence looks superb. I highly recommend Tommy and his team.

We hired Tommy to remove a sycamore in our garden that was as tall as our house and rotting. Tommy and his team had it gone by 4pm the same day, including carrying all the waste out through our house – a small terraced house with no side access. The next day, they came back to bag up all the sawdust. Excellent work from an efficient and cheery team!

Tommy and his team have been looking after my mother's garden for over a year now making regular maintenance visits throughout the year. The garden looks like a park. It's beautiful and my mother loves it. Tommy is very professional and keeps us informed about visit dates and times, any unavoidable delays and we get a great video update after each visit to tell us what has been done and what needs doing. The team are a delight. They work hard, are flexible, listen to our ideas and input their own and they are very caring around my mother. The family would heartily recommend them.

Tommy and his team made light work of removing a couple of conifers from my garden which had been there for ages. He also helped source and plant in the hydrangeas to replace the conifers. He was a breath of fresh air. Turned up when he said he would, did the job in no time with little fuss, always with a smile. Would definitely use him again and would recommend him.

We had a large tree that was far too close to our house (we live in a conservation area). After several tree surgeons said "no way", Tommy was more than prepared to go into bat with the council and, after much back and forth with the council, we were able to proceed with works to fell the tree. Tommy and his team came and did an amazing job - excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Tommy reduced the height of two tall trees by 50%, replaced a fence and shed over a 3 day period. The work was completed as planned, all the replaced items were removed and the garden was left in a tidy state. I am very pleased with the results and would definitely use him again.

The work was completed quickly and efficiently as planned, despite some horrendous weather and evil thorns, leaving me with a fence that is fit for purpose (unlike its predecessor!). However, I was most struck by the efficiency of all aspects of the company. The initial communication by email was on a Sunday evening, when I was not expecting an answer until Monday. Before long, we had arranged the visit to give an estimate. That was sent promptly and dates agreed for the work. Before the day, an email was sent to check everything was okay, with an approximate arrival time. The standard of work is very good, but the best and most refreshing part is the very professional attitude. We found Tommy and his team to be friendly, efficient and flexible. They finished the job more quickly than expected and also provided excellent after care advice. Also provided advice on types of plants to buy, products to use and advised on a supplier for a robotic lawnmower. We had trees trimmed, all existing vegetation removed (one rose being re-planted), beds dug over and with sheeting put down with a bark layer over and the lawn completely dug up and re-turfed. We are now waiting for a quote for phase 2 as we were so happy with the first phase and this will include further tree removal, and the paying of decking in two separate areas in the garden.

It was a hot day, there were unexpected problems with concealed concrete that had to be removed. The team dealt with it all with efficiency, courtesy and good humour. The site was left clean and tidy with all fencing waste removed. I have used Mr. Clark's company previously for tree maintenance and am happy to recommend it.

From the quote to completion, communication was excellent. Punctual, polite and thorough. He made an excellent job of trimming a conifer hedge. All waste was removed. Very pleased with the result. Would recommend.

Very impressed by the work done by Tommy & Dan in pruning Magnolia tree to shape, cutting specified lateral branches of 100 year old Cedar tree & pruning back to shape, reducing Hawthorne tree and cutting dead branch from conifer tree. They also cleared the site perfectly as well as leaving some wood for my log burner. I will use them again.

Tommy has done a few jobs for me now, this time I had him back to replace a full fence with all new panels, concrete posts and gravel boards. The job was all done and tidied up in just a few hours. He always replies to any messages quickly and keeps in touch with any updates or questions and always arrives on time. Tommy and his team spent a week carrying out numerous tasks including: Reducing the height of 32 tall conifers by about third, removing an old large Lilac tree, trimming several other trees and pruning two fruit trees. Clearing an area to be used for a raised bed and growing wild flowers. Building a 3 sectioned raised bed using high quality sleepers, filling with quality compost and making a small stoned path for easy access. Supplying and fitting of 3 sections of featheredge fencing. Repotting numerous pot plant into large pots. Transplanting 2 small trees from the garden into pots. Transplanting 2 potted tree from pots into the garden I have been using Tommy and his team for many years and they have always been very professional, extremely pleasant, helpful, hardworking and punctual. They carried all the work on schedule, on budget and to a very high standard. Over the last 25 years I have used many tree surgeons and gardeners and Tommy is by far the best; he really does takes pride in what he does. I have absolutely no reservations in thoroughly recommending Tommy and his team.

Tommy has been looking after my large garden for some years. This involves regular maintenance and a once-a-year significant tree surgery on 35 mature trees. He has also built 5 sections of fencing and made a raised vegetable patch. In the last visit he trimmed various trees and shrubs, removed weeds, mowed and edged the lawn and generally made the garden look very presentable for a fundraising event for the small homeless charity my wife runs. As usual, all was done efficiently and to a high standard. Tommy and his team are very amicable and professional and take great pride in their work. For many years Tommy and his team have been making regular garden maintenance visits throughout the year. In addition, once a year they carry out significant tree surgery on about 40 large trees, general putting them in very good order and removing all branches overhanging my 4 neighbours’ gardens, which requires them to access my neighbours’ gardens, one of which is a block of flats. Tommy and his team are very friendly and professional and take great pride in their work, which I and my neighbours really appreciate. All work is done to schedule and on budget. I called Tommy Clark, having read Which trusted trader reviews. From the initial enquiry to the farewell wave at job's end, Tommy was a pleasure to deal with. He doesn't overcharge but does get on with the job. Over two days, he and his team removed two giant Ash trees and pollarded a third. Additionally, a wayward magnolia tree was pruned back. At the end of the work, my garden was left clean and tidy. I'm really pleased with his service and will happily re-engage his services as required.
