Our 15 year old boiler decided to breakdown, no hot water, no heating. We considered a repair but decided in the end, to go for a new boiler. T&S Gas & Electric were on the list of installers given to us by Worcester-Bosch. Contact was good, message left and within an hour we received a return phone call and a visit the same day. On time, courteous and a detailed quote received which we accepted. We were kept informed of when the engineer would arrive and he did so, just 3 days later. He was a good worker and got on with the job leaving everything clean, tidy and working. The trader even took care of registering the boiler for us, for warranty purposes. I would definitely recommend this company and they would be my 1st port of call in the future. No complaints whatsoever.

I have recently had new radiators installed by T S Gas & electric. I had a new worcester boiler installed by the team last year. The quote was reasonable. The work was carried out to a very high standard. Indy and the team deliver a high efficient outstanding professional service. The workman are polite, on time and ensure minimal disruption. Give them a try, I highly recommend them.

This is the second boiler TS Gas & Electric have fitted for me at different properties. On both occasions they provided a most detailed quote, which was keenly priced. The two engineers arrived on time and fitted the new boiler professionally, and were informative and friendly. The left the utility room clean and tidy and we are very pleased with our new boiler. I can thoroughly recommend TS and should the need arise use them again.

I had a complete centra heating system installed in June of 2023. I have used TS Gas before and on both occasions have been very satisfied with their installation service and competitive pricing. However, one of the radiators installed was damaged during installation and requires a spare part. Unfortunately, despite a visit from their sales representative to confirm this and repeated texts, calls, and e-mails 7 months later there is no resolution. This has spoiled an otherwise 5 star service from the company which is a great shame as otherwise I would recommend them.

The customer contacted us in December 2023, six months after we had installed a full heating system for him. He informed us a side panel on a radiator was damaged (which has a value of approximately five pounds). He had fully inspected the completed work in June 2023 and there was no damage present at that time. We advised him that as the radiator had been damaged by him, after completion of our works, we could not supply a replacement side panel. The customer took exception to this and posted this review.

We needed a new boiler fitting just before Christmas. We were contacted promptly and a quotation was provided at the same time as visiting the house to identify requirements. The engineer turned up on time to do the work which was all completed within the 2 days allocated. We were very happy with the initial response and the work carried out. Thank you to Indy and Richard

We had decided on replacing our ageing WB Greenstar 24Kw boiler for a 30Kw version as we had added radiators extra to the original system, using the WB site we were contacted shortly afterwards by TS Gas & Electric and arranged a mutually convenient time and date for a survey to be carried out, the visit was informative and easily understandable, having been provided with a comprehensive quote we decided that afternoon to go ahead with the purchase and installation and contacted the offices, much to our surprise we were offered a potential installation date three days later. The installation engineer arrived and had very professional look and demeanour about him, he carried out the job with minimal intrusion as we carried out other tasks, he explained the controls of the boiler and checked all radiators were working efficiently, we’ve never known them to warm up so quickly and to a temperature we’d not experienced, the extra output was certainly worth paying that little bit more for. The area he had been working in was left clean and tidy. We can thoroughly recommend TS Gas & Electric to others considering similar work.

Boiler replaced. Excellent workmanship, clean & tidy, Vic went beyond what was required and fixed some old pipework while installing the new boiler. He didn't have to, but he takes pride in his work and it shows. Minimal disruption. Very good price. It has been a pleasure from start to finish. I cannot recommend highly enough, we are very happy.

Survey was carried out with no issues identified, boiler installed and since installation, we developed water hammer. I contacted the site engineer who stated that having a boiler installed was not the cause of the issue. I had a separate issue with the boiler which I raised with the OEM under the guarantee. The repair engineer identified that the boiler should have had a flow arrester installed as we have a water meter. I contacted the installer and asked them about the flow arrester, they stated that it wasn’t required, I re-iterated the point and asked them to look at the installation manual from the OEM (page 14) which clearly states that one is required. They dialled off to check, then called me back a few minutes later stating that their contractual assumption was that where a like for like install was requested (condensing boiler for condensing boiler), they bear no responsibility for any issues either arising, or with any OEM guarantees. They requoted for the extra work as requested, but a far greater cost to me that if they’d have completed the survey thoroughly. The survey engineers lack of awareness of the OEM requirements left me with a very expensive boiler which was not covered by the OEM’s 12 year guarantee even after we deliberately contracted a WB approved installer.

We dispute the statement that water hammer ‘developed’ after our works. The job was a Combi boiler replacement in place of the old Combi boiler. A ‘like for like swap’. If there was truly water hammer it would also have been present prior to our works and the customer should have made our engineer aware of this, instead he concealed that information. Our installation terms and conditions clearly state that when doing such a job we are presuming the existing system and setup is adequate. When we are replacing one part of an entire heating system (the boiler only) we are only responsible for what we have installed, not for the entire existing system. This is common sense. Where there is already a Combi boiler in place we reasonably presume that the system is already adequate for a Combi boiler. This is no different to the standard terms and conditions of any boiler installation company. Furthermore, we have contacted the manufacturer and they have confirmed that the guarantee on the boiler is perfectly valid.
