Survey was carried out with no issues identified, boiler installed and since installation, we developed water hammer. I contacted the site engineer who stated that having a boiler installed was not the cause of the issue. I had a separate issue with the boiler which I raised with the OEM under the guarantee. The repair engineer identified that the boiler should have had a flow arrester installed as we have a water meter. I contacted the installer and asked them about the flow arrester, they stated that it wasn’t required, I re-iterated the point and asked them to look at the installation manual from the OEM (page 14) which clearly states that one is required. They dialled off to check, then called me back a few minutes later stating that their contractual assumption was that where a like for like install was requested (condensing boiler for condensing boiler), they bear no responsibility for any issues either arising, or with any OEM guarantees. They requoted for the extra work as requested, but a far greater cost to me that if they’d have completed the survey thoroughly. The survey engineers lack of awareness of the OEM requirements left me with a very expensive boiler which was not covered by the OEM’s 12 year guarantee even after we deliberately contracted a WB approved installer.

We dispute the statement that water hammer ‘developed’ after our works. The job was a Combi boiler replacement in place of the old Combi boiler. A ‘like for like swap’. If there was truly water hammer it would also have been present prior to our works and the customer should have made our engineer aware of this, instead he concealed that information. Our installation terms and conditions clearly state that when doing such a job we are presuming the existing system and setup is adequate. When we are replacing one part of an entire heating system (the boiler only) we are only responsible for what we have installed, not for the entire existing system. This is common sense. Where there is already a Combi boiler in place we reasonably presume that the system is already adequate for a Combi boiler. This is no different to the standard terms and conditions of any boiler installation company. Furthermore, we have contacted the manufacturer and they have confirmed that the guarantee on the boiler is perfectly valid.

From the point of initial quotation to installation, the TS team were professional and did exactly what they said they would do on time. Our boiler was not a standard installation and yet it was fitted without fault and the price and install time was very reasonable.

TS Gas and Electric team came to our home to upgrade our 25 plus years old gas boiler. They were on time in the morning and completed the task as promised before the end of the day by 5pm. The Bosch certified engineer and his colleague were very professional and carried out the job without any challenges and perfectly completed them as promised. They fitted a new Worcester Bosch Greenstar 4000 18kW System with Magnetic Filter, additional port valves. The workmanship was of very high professional quality and they ensured that the place was clean before they left. They fully explained the new system and provided good instruction for maintenance. Very satisfied with their service and would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks.

I approached this company on recommendation from a satisfied customer. I found them very professional in all of our dealings from the first contact to completion of works. An installation survey was completed and the quote supplied and all necessary paperwork was supplied outlining each step of the way. The new boiler was fitted quickly and efficiently with a minimum of mess on the date initially agreed. I have no hesitation in recommending this company based on my dealings with them.

First-rate service from start to finish. A new boiler that is giving us more warmth than we've ever had in the home and hotter water too. We needed a replacement Worcester Bosch because the old one was 14-15 years old - and showing it! We also had two radiators replaced. The competitive quotation was given to us by Indy, who was meticulous in writing down all the details of the installation and answered all our questions on it. The engineer, Vic, worked tirelessly to get the new boiler installed. He didn't even stop for lunch or any breaks other than when we made him a coffee or tea. He also explained fully what was being done and was the epitome of politeness and tidied up everything once he was finished. It has been two weeks since it was installed and everything is working perfectly, the home is much warmer and we are very happy. Well done, TS Gas & Electric, on an exceptional job!

I was given all information about the different boilers and we then came to a discussion. The day the gas engineer Rich came he was letting me know step by step what was happening. Boilers can be messy but he kept all his mess to a minimal and cleaned up everything afterwards. I had an issue 2 days later and although it was a Sunday I still got a call back and early Monday morning Rich was back to solve the issue. Overall I was pleased with the service. MS Kaur.

Had two radiators fitted and boiler serviced. Was very pleased with the job all the pipe work was very neatly done. The men were very efficient and courteous and cleaned up after. I would highly recommend them. We have used them before and have always been very pleased with the work they have done.
