We inherited our boiler when we purchased a house and it wasn't in good condition. TS Gas and Electrical were recommended to us so I contacted them. They returned my call within minutes and booked us in for a no obligation quote on a date that suited us. Indy came to price the job and was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Our 15 year old boiler decided to breakdown, no hot water, no heating. We considered a repair but decided in the end, to go for a new boiler. T&S Gas & Electric were on the list of installers given to us by Worcester-Bosch. Contact was good, message left and within an hour we received a return phone call and a visit the same day. On time, courteous and a detailed quote received which we accepted. We were kept informed of when the engineer would arrive and he did so, just 3 days later. He was a good worker and got on with the job leaving everything clean, tidy and working. The trader even took care of registering the boiler for us, for warranty purposes. I would definitely recommend this company and they would be my 1st port of call in the future. No complaints whatsoever.

I had a complete centra heating system installed in June of 2023. I have used TS Gas before and on both occasions have been very satisfied with their installation service and competitive pricing. However, one of the radiators installed was damaged during installation and requires a spare part. Unfortunately, despite a visit from their sales representative to confirm this and repeated texts, calls, and e-mails 7 months later there is no resolution. This has spoiled an otherwise 5 star service from the company which is a great shame as otherwise I would recommend them.

The customer contacted us in December 2023, six months after we had installed a full heating system for him. He informed us a side panel on a radiator was damaged (which has a value of approximately five pounds). He had fully inspected the completed work in June 2023 and there was no damage present at that time. We advised him that as the radiator had been damaged by him, after completion of our works, we could not supply a replacement side panel. The customer took exception to this and posted this review.

We had decided on replacing our ageing WB Greenstar 24Kw boiler for a 30Kw version as we had added radiators extra to the original system, using the WB site we were contacted shortly afterwards by TS Gas & Electric and arranged a mutually convenient time and date for a survey to be carried out, the visit was informative and easily understandable, having been provided with a comprehensive quote we decided that afternoon to go ahead with the purchase and installation and contacted the offices, much to our surprise we were offered a potential installation date three days later. The installation engineer arrived and had very professional look and demeanour about him, he carried out the job with minimal intrusion as we carried out other tasks, he explained the controls of the boiler and checked all radiators were working efficiently, we’ve never known them to warm up so quickly and to a temperature we’d not experienced, the extra output was certainly worth paying that little bit more for. The area he had been working in was left clean and tidy. We can thoroughly recommend TS Gas & Electric to others considering similar work.

Survey was carried out with no issues identified, boiler installed and since installation, we developed water hammer. I contacted the site engineer who stated that having a boiler installed was not the cause of the issue. I had a separate issue with the boiler which I raised with the OEM under the guarantee. The repair engineer identified that the boiler should have had a flow arrester installed as we have a water meter. I contacted the installer and asked them about the flow arrester, they stated that it wasn’t required, I re-iterated the point and asked them to look at the installation manual from the OEM (page 14) which clearly states that one is required. They dialled off to check, then called me back a few minutes later stating that their contractual assumption was that where a like for like install was requested (condensing boiler for condensing boiler), they bear no responsibility for any issues either arising, or with any OEM guarantees. They requoted for the extra work as requested, but a far greater cost to me that if they’d have completed the survey thoroughly. The survey engineers lack of awareness of the OEM requirements left me with a very expensive boiler which was not covered by the OEM’s 12 year guarantee even after we deliberately contracted a WB approved installer.

We dispute the statement that water hammer ‘developed’ after our works. The job was a Combi boiler replacement in place of the old Combi boiler. A ‘like for like swap’. If there was truly water hammer it would also have been present prior to our works and the customer should have made our engineer aware of this, instead he concealed that information. Our installation terms and conditions clearly state that when doing such a job we are presuming the existing system and setup is adequate. When we are replacing one part of an entire heating system (the boiler only) we are only responsible for what we have installed, not for the entire existing system. This is common sense. Where there is already a Combi boiler in place we reasonably presume that the system is already adequate for a Combi boiler. This is no different to the standard terms and conditions of any boiler installation company. Furthermore, we have contacted the manufacturer and they have confirmed that the guarantee on the boiler is perfectly valid.

TS Gas and Electric team came to our home to upgrade our 25 plus years old gas boiler. They were on time in the morning and completed the task as promised before the end of the day by 5pm. The Bosch certified engineer and his colleague were very professional and carried out the job without any challenges and perfectly completed them as promised. They fitted a new Worcester Bosch Greenstar 4000 18kW System with Magnetic Filter, additional port valves. The workmanship was of very high professional quality and they ensured that the place was clean before they left. They fully explained the new system and provided good instruction for maintenance. I approached this company on recommendation from a satisfied customer. I found them very professional in all of our dealings from the first contact to completion of works. First-rate service from start to finish. A new boiler that is giving us more warmth than we've ever had in the home and hotter water too. We needed a replacement Worcester Bosch because the old one was 14-15 years old - and showing it! We also had two radiators replaced. The competitive quotation was given to us by Indy, who was meticulous in writing down all the details of the installation and answered all our questions on it. The engineer, Vic, worked tirelessly to get the new boiler installed. He didn't even stop for lunch or any breaks other than when we made him a coffee or tea. He also explained fully what was being done and was the epitome of politeness and tidied up everything once he was finished. I was given all information about the different boilers and we then came to a discussion. The day the gas engineer Rich came he was letting me know step by step what was happening. Boilers can be messy but he kept all his mess to a minimal and cleaned up everything afterwards. I had an issue 2 days later and although it was a Sunday I still got a call back and early Monday morning Rich was back to solve the issue. Overall I was pleased with the service. MS Kaur.

The quotation was done by Indy. He laid out a full list of work to be done in order to replace the existing failing boiler and replace it with a new model which would fit inside the existing cupboard. He is knowledgeable and professional. The quotation was in fact slightly cheaper than the competition but to be honest that was not critical. It was more a case of having confidence in him and the firm. Fitting was done on the day specified. Again the fitter was very professional, happy to explain what he would be doing and when, so as to inconvenience us as little as possible. He cleared up after his work and explained the workings of the boiler. We are very pleased to have chosen T&S Gas and are happy to recommend to others.

This firm has installed Worcester Bosch boilers into two different properties of ours in the past year. We moved not long after having the first boiler installed following a total breakdown of our previous one. Contacted T&S on a Saturday afternoon and new Boiler installed and working on Tuesday by midday!! When we found that the boiler in our new house needed replacing, we had absolutely no hesitation in calling T&S back. Second job up to same high standard as first. The surveyor visited and gave us a very informative assessment of what work would be required and explained well the choice of boiler that would be best for our home. An installation date was emailed within days of us accepting their very comparable quote. The installer turned up right on time, started work right away at 8.45am and never stopped until completed at 6.00pm. The work was completed efficiently and with little mess. I had a new Ideal C24 Combi Boiler installed by TS Gas & Electric Ltd., and was very pleased with the work and workmanship. It wasn't the easiest job for Rich to do as I wanted the boiler in a slightly different place on the wall and an extended flue. He did an excellent job, explained what was going on and answered any questions I had. I contacted 3 parties to quote for a new boiler. TS Gas were the only conpany to discuss the various options and recommendations for my property rather than just price. I selected a larger bigger boiler capacity, as I live in a 3 storey home with 3 bathrooms and didn't want limited hot water pressure. From the quotation to installation was less than a week. The team arrived at my home at the time stated and couldn't do enough to ensure I was happy and felt safe during this pandemic also covering to protect all area of traffic. Professional throughout, I could not recommend more highly.

Had a new combi-boiler and central heating system fitted within my property. Whilst I was happy with the boiler and radiators, as they finished on the Thursday PM by Friday AM a hot water pipe burst under my tiled kitchen floor. As I contacted T.S Gas they were not very helpful and said to call a plumber as this is existing pipework and not their problem. The engineer said 'it is a coincidence, it's as if the cat dies next door and you blame the boiler'. Obviously this was not appreciated. Following this they emailed a harsh unnecessary email 'It seems that finding someone to blame and getting ‘very upset’ without any reasonable justification is quite common place these days, instead of just accepting that it was a rare occurrence on an old property which was unfortunate.' There was never any explanation of existing pipework being affected (in an older property) and never any empathy with this. Furthermore they have left a hole in my roof! Don't waste your time with them.

An excellent job was done in installing a full central heating system to this property. It was done to our usual very high standards. Richard, the installing engineer, is highly experienced and professional. All of our reviews on this site give an accurate representation of our work and excellent customer service. The customer is renovating a very old property and a few days after our works some of the very old original pipework under the kitchen floor developed a leak. This was on pipework which we had not installed or worked on. We could not have worked on it as it was buried in the concrete in the kitchen floor from when the house was originally constructed. We were helpful to her in identifying the issue and giving her a plan of action. Our original survey covered all aspects of the nature of our work. All aspects were discussed in great detail. Furthermore our terms of installation, which the customer read and agreed to, cover such issues. The issue that occurred was absolutely nothing to do with our works, and any hot or cold water supply pipe should be suitable for mains pressure. Where there is a genuine issue relating to any of our work we always take care of it. We pride ourselves on our workmanship and exceptional customer service.

We were recommended this company by my son, who had a combi boiler fitted. Indy, our gas advisor, was really helpful, and explained everything without confusing us. Installation was arranged and quote given, only 2 weeks to go! Our 2 installers arrived and got on with taking our old system boiler and pipes out, very professionally and tidily. Manny came firstly to quote for the installation of a new boiler. He was very professional answered all my questions and explained everything very well especially as regards how to identify perhaps "less reputable" installers. The figure quoted was competitive with three other quotes that I had, and after a brief chat with Head office decided to proceed. I paid a deposit on the phone and was given a date and time for installation 7 days later. The two engineers arrived on the day at the time stated and worked without a break until the job was complete. They were very quiet and clean absolutely no mess afterwards to clear up and completed the job very quickly. So far a first class company and employees to deal with.

My experience with the company from start to finish has been one of professionalism, attention to detail, clear communication and friendly and respectful individuals. They always came on time, including to appointments. This started with Tim’s always prompt and clear communication on email, Indy’s visits and his very detailed job sheet and attention to detail (which was the thing that sold me on the company, as well as the competitive price). When the job started, Mani was in charge and carefully walked me through the planned work, as well as addressing clearly any questions I had. Jeek and Vik were friendly and hard-working. The other Vic showed a lot of attention to detail and made a nice suggestion on the final few bits of piping work that led to a much nicer final finish, even though it took a bit longer, which I really appreciated.

Their Sales Rep Indy was straight-forward, honest and helpful - even when I directed questions arising from other quotes. No pushy hard sell at play - he just wanted us to choose a boiler and company that suited our needs. And he answered many questions over several days - I didn't want to rush an expensive decision. Other companies were literally pushing for us to sign up with them! The engineers that Indy sent (Vic & Vic) were amazing, knowledgeable and very clean and tidy in their work. They worked tirelessly through the job so we could have everything sorted in one day, even sorting out some old pipes that needed re-positioning. I was concerned they were not a company local to me, That they would send a sub-standard fitter... I needn't have worried. Ticked all the right boxes. We have found the engineers friendly, co-operative and knowledgeable. Any questions well answered in a confident way. They all kept us informed and explained the processes. I previously had a new Worcester Bosch boiler installed and commissioned with this company in December, 2016. I decided to have 6 radiators installed to replace my aged radiators. This work was completed in 1 day on 13th January, 2017. I was very pleased with the work, which included running down the system, installing where directed, refilling the system with inhibitor and bleeding the radiators, free of air. I would recommend this company to anyone who requires similar work.

Replacement LPG combination boiler. I received 3 quotes for the works- supplying & fitting the same model Worcester Bosch boiler. Of the three reps, TS Gas & electric were here the longest (to quote) & supplied by far the most professional & detailed quotation. Personally, I thought that their quotation would be the most expensive but,to my surprise they were by far the cheapest. Knowing that "cheapest is not always the best", based on the professionalism of their rep-I think I would have gone with TS anyway-even if they had been the most expensive! The boiler was fitted in one day, and the fitters were a delight to have in the house. They were professional, kept me informed of what they were doing and left at the end of the day with a good job done, all rubbish removed & the place left clean & tidy!
