Contacted James at Up to Scratch to quote for scratch repair on 04/01/23. Received an instant response requesting detailed photos of the areas affected. Within 15 minutes had a quotation that was accepted and agreed. Due to a cancellation James was able to fit me in the following day. Due to precise detailed preparation and James’ skill and expertise, the results are immaculate. You would never know that there had been any scratches in the areas addressed. James also spotted a couple of areas that he had missed in the photos and took care of those at no extra cost. Great service. I would not hesitate to use James’ service again and would strongly recommend up to Scratch.

Someone dented near side rear door that would have been expensive to repair. James skill fully disguised the dent with colour match paint making it hardly noticeable and hard to find. Providing a prompt and professional affordable service.

Having had previous experience of James' excellent work on my car two years ago I had no hesitation in calling him to work his magic on some scratches and a broken wing mirror resulting from a too rapid reversal out of my garage. Although this was a fairly small job compared with previously it was carried out with the same expertise and thoroughness as before. James obviously takes a great pride in his work and is happy to explain the procedures involved to someone not mechanically minded.

James did a great job on my Moms car. He came a while ago to quote and then booked an appointment to come to my house to do the work. He kept to the quote though found a bit more work than expected and he came on time. He’s a lovely man and very hard working. His work was faultless. I’d recommend him to anyone.

I found James’ company on Facebook and contacted him about repairing my dints and scratches ready to send my lease car back. Communication was amazing from start to finish, he sent all the information about what would need doing to get through the inspection. I took my car to James property and met his lovely wife too both were very welcoming and my car looked gleaming by the end of it!! Highly recommend thanks a lot

After discovering my car had been damaged whilst parked, I came across James’ page on Facebook where I could WhatsApp him for a quote. James replied extremely quickly with not only a very reasonable price, but he could complete the job outside my home. When he arrived he was lovely and helpful going above and beyond to complete the job to a professional standard, which has left my car looking brand new. Would recommend again and again.
