On the 25th of May 2021, I contacted Used Kitchen Exchange to see if I could sell on my still loved beautiful Clive Christian Kitchen. Immediately on the telephone I could tell that they were very experienced and confident that they could sell my used kitchen. My new kitchen wasn’t being put in until September so UKE talked with me all through the process, they got a buyer for me before I’d had time to upload the Fotos of the kitchen. The day finally came to dismantle the kitchen, I used UKE own team of guys - so glad I did. They arrived bang on 9 am on the 13th of September, just exactly the time they said they would. Worked carefully and respectfully all day until 5 pm when both their lorry doors were closed and off they went. I can not honestly believe they managed to remove our 40ft by 40ft kitchen in one working day. They were so careful and precise and even took care not to let my dogs and cats out of the house. I would highly recommend using UKE (used kitchen exchange) and their own team of kitchen removal experts. I hear that the purchaser of my old kitchen is over the moon with their new kitchen. My kitchen installer suggested using UKE and I was not disappointed with them. I found the company very efficient and the whole process went smoothly. The kitchen was photographed, put on the website and sold. The dismantling team telephoned just before they arrived and the kitchen was dismantled. It was stored carefully so that the buyer's team could reload the kitchen easily. I would recommend the company to anyone wishing to sell a second-hand kitchen and, disposing of a kitchen in this way, it ensures that nothing goes into landfill.

I’m not easily pleased. The kitchen removal guys were polite, communicative, highly competent and effective. It wasn’t a straight-forward job but they took it in their stride, got on with the job, kept me informed and cleaned up after themselves. Other than an entertaining song and dance routine we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you.

The team turned up at the appointed time. Our Kitchen was dismantled swiftly with minimum of fuss. The site was left in a tidy state.

Shaun and his dismantle team were extremely efficient and professional. They took my entire kitchen out in 2 hours with minimum disruption and I would highly recommend their service.

I was recommended UKE by the architect who has designed our new kitchen and they did not disappoint. As soon as I made an enquiry with them, they got back to me swiftly and were helpful and knowledgable on the telephone. They sent a polite, efficient gentleman to take the photographs of my kitchen and, in fact, he was here within a few days of my initial enquiry. My kitchen was on their website for sale within two weeks of first contacting UKE which was excellent service. Then I was contacted about offers and the process explained to me carefully. Within a month an offer had been made and I had accepted it. The process was smooth, easy and hassle-free. I would recommend it to anyone who has a second hand kitchen they wish to sell. Moreover, by doing this, my carbon footprint for this year is ZERO! Nothing has gone into landfill which is brilliant. We fixed a date for the UKE dismantling team to come to my home and take away the old kitchen. They did a super job. They were careful of the rest of the house. The were polite and friendly. And they were efficient - it only took them a few hours to dismantle the lot and load it onto their van. I would recommend UKE to anyone wishing to sell their second-hand kitchen. First rate service.

When I initially made contact about selling the kitchen. The person I spoke with was very knowledgeable and gave a comprehensive summary of the whole sales process. They sent forms to be completed, which were simple to follow and submit. The photographer arrived as expected and the sale details were quickly provided to us to approve. These were then published without requiring any changes. After the sale was made, which happened soon after the publication, the schedule of the dismantle was agreed. We had to delay it a couple of times due to delays in our building work, but these were handled without issue via email. There were no issues with the kitchen removal. It was done as scheduled, the workforce let me know the time they would be arriving. After the removal they did extra work to make the washing machine work. The kitchen area was cleared of rubbish before they left. A professional, efficient service we are very pleased to recommend.

We found the kitchen exchange through our kitchen installer would suggest the site. The overall service is really good and makes the process of selling a kitchen effortlessly. The photographs and listed were all arranged quickly. Used Kitchen Exchange deal with the offers and once sold arrange fitters to dismantle the kitchen. The team who dismantled the kitchen were decent and well organised. My only negative is the high commission but we knew this was the case and the circumstances of wanting a relatively quick sale worked for us. Overall a really good experience.

The experience with Used Kitchen Exchange was seamless from the outset, the kitchen ended up selling for full asking price and in just a couple of weeks. We used the dismantling service that was flexible to book based on the timing of the fitting of our new kitchen and it was a really fast and efficient process. Shaun and Daz did a fantastic job of dismantling our kitchen. Shaun communicated the arrival time beforehand and they were punctual, polite, friendly and considerate. They removed the kitchen very efficiently taking care nothing was damaged in the process and communicated any issues well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

The chaps arrived on time, they carried out the work efficiently and with speed and also were very clean. Very impressed with the care they took in removing the kitchen and they wrapped up and/or covered the units and white goods to prevent damaged whilst in transit.

The whole process of enabling the kitchen in our new home to be reused and enjoyed by someone else was achieved very successfully. We were very concerned that all the materials could be recycled instead of wasted in a skip, the kitchen was only 2 years old and in very good condition, we felt guilty about replacing it, but it wasn't to our personal taste at all. The process was very straightforward, the removal team worked with care at all times and appointments were kept. The survey and photography was professional. An excellent use of the internet to save waste, provide a good kitchen for someone else's enjoyment and gain a little help towards the cost of a replacement.

UKE managed the sale and dismantle of our kitchen in Feb - May 2021 and were a pleasure to deal with. Their comms were excellent and they were prompt replying to emails. There was always someone to pick up the phone and help me with any queries. The sale went through in ample time before our new kitchen was due to install and the dismantle team were excellent, with UKE managing the whole process. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

We had sold our used kitchen via UKE and were very pleased with the whole process. We were very impressed with how efficiently and carefully our old kitchen was removed to be transported to its new owner and payment has now been received so they were presumably pleased with the way it was handled too. Excellent way to recycle a used kitchen without it going to landfill.

The team dismantled and took away our old kitchen. They arrive at the time stipulated as a team of 3 and they were all very courteous. The work was carried out speedily and with due care. They kept us up to date with how things were going and timescale and they cleaned up after themselves. An excellent team and happy to have them in the house.

The initial contact with UKE was positive and the subsequent quotations and arrangement of works were all handled very professionally. Communications were spot on and what I appreciated most was their open honesty with managing our expectations on value and time frames. They met every deadline. On removal, the guys turned up at the agreed time and set out the order of the day and addressed any queries and concerns which we had before commencing work. We found all the crew to be totally professional and courteous throughout the work period. They were tidy and respectful of our property at all times and ensured we were satisfied with the removal before they left. They managed to remove and load their vehicles well within the allotted time. Subsequent communications from the Head Office were great, clearly setting out the schedule of events over the next 14 days which allows the purchaser to receive and inspect the goods before confirming their satisfaction. Payment was deposited into my account for the agreed amount on the agreed day. It's quite rare in this day and age to find a company who actually strive to fulfil their commitments wholly, so I would therefore have no hesitation in recommending the services of Used Kitchen Exchange Ltd.
