From start to finish, these guys were fantastic. Strongly recommend them - competent, friendly, affordable and importantly no hidden fees or other common hassles. Quote - was transparent and easily arranged just by forwarding a video clip. Mike was very responsive and all the usual questions were answered in advance. They held the date for me despite not being able to place a deposit until (a late) Exchange. An when I had questions, there was also an office team I could always get through to with questions. Moving home - the guys were fantastic. Professional, on time and took care of property and contents. It was a long day (moving from London to Exeter) but they were quick and even pulled in other local teams. Invoice - no nasty surprises or extra add-on fees. The price was exactly as quoted.

I’m a disabled person who lives on my own. So when I needed to move from Exeter to Exmouth I wanted to use a removal company - this is the first time I have used one. From the first this company was brilliant and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was friendly and happy. They made moving day as stress free as possible. We needed a large storage unit emptied in Exeter and delivered to London. The initial quote and booking were easy with quick communication from Mike who made the whole experience simple. The price was excellent, all our stuff arrived safely and the delivery team were a lovely couple of chaps!

Van Man Removals, based in Tiverton, proved to be an excellent removal service for dealing with several different items to three different addresses in Bristol and London. They were efficient - 6 men came to pack up and put items in the van - and then two of them delivered to the addresses. There were no hitches at the other end and the guys who came were very accommodating and careful in what they did. They were also punctual and clean. We were drawn to the firm not least because they paid above the minimum wage to their crew and they cared about their welfare and training. Even so their price was the median of three quotations for the job, so the cost was fair but not excessive.

We used van man removals to move our belongings from Devon to Pembrokeshire and I couldn't recommend them enough! They were super friendly, very fast loading and unloading, and they helped create a calm atmosphere in a stressful situation. When we arrived at our new home our TV and sofa were already set up for us which was a lovely thing to walk in to! Matt and Luke who took our belongings to Pembrokeshire were lovely, friendly and kind, along with the other 2 guys that helped load everything initially.

The team were on time, courteous and efficient. Very happy with the service, will use them again and recommend them to friends.

My daughter was moving to a new house and we needed to transport some furniture we had in storage in Exeter to Cambridge. From the moment I got in touch with Mike his response was excellent. Although we needed the move done within a few days he managed to fit us in. On the day of the pick up, the guys arrived on time and were extremely professional. Likewise, the next day Matt & Dean did a great job taking the stuff to Cambridge, again arriving spot on time and making short work of unloading everything. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to other people.

Moving house can be stressful at the best of times, but when you're emptying your deceased parents place it's a whole new level. I can't thank Van Man removals enough for their service. From booking to loading, everything was so much easier than I was expecting. Mike and his team were constant professionals yet friendly in their approach. Matt & Dean arrived on time. They looked really smart in their work clothes and both were very friendly and happy. I had just had new wood flooring and decorating so was probably overly worried about things being moved. I need not have been...they were very careful. They put up with my fussing with good humor, nothing was too much trouble for them. A huge thanks to Matt & Dean and thanks also to Mike for being so efficient in arranging everything.

Mike answered my request quickly and politely. He fitted in with all my wishes. Removal team arrived promptly with a large van. They were very professional, kind and caring. After a very protracted sale and purchase Mike stepped in when our original movers could no longer honour the date. He arranged and booked the move really quickly so that there was no delay in our exchange. When the day came Mike and his team were friendly, careful, quick and efficient (they packed for us as well). They didn't leave until they were sure we were happy and didn't want anything relocating. I needed a piano and an awkward shaped sofa moved and was extremely pleased with the service I received from Van Man. Not only was organising a date and time handled very efficiently by Mike but Leon, Dean and Ryan showed up on time and were very professional in their work. They were dressed well in uniform and spoke very politely. They were pleasant throughout the move and very reassuring. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Leading up to our move was very stressful with our buyers putting pressure on us but on the day of our move Leon, Matt and Dean took all of that stress away and were so lovely with us and so quick with getting us out of our home and into our rental that we are having for six months while the sale of our new home goes through. They were very quick and professional and covered our mattresses in plastic etc and cared for our belongings. If I emailed any query at all leading up to the move then Mike answered everything quickly and put my mind at rest. We have even got them storing our settees until we can move them into our new home, as they would not fit into our temporary place. Hoping to use them again when we move into our future home. I have already recommended them to some friends who are moving soon.

Van man removls were superb! We had just moved in to a place and were needing to get things from all over the south of England shipped to London. Mike was really flexible, updating the quote when we added items in to be collected. The guys were excellent, took real care with the items, including a snooker table that weighed a ton and moved everything around until they were just where we wanted them. Couldn't be happier with the service and the value for money!

If you are looking for a wholly reliable, professional, efficient, courteous and friendly company to move your stuff then look no further. Mike and the team are quite simply exceptional. All of our removal requests were taken on board and carried out without issue. Carrying out the customer’s wishes and keeping them happy is the overriding ethos here, everything was moved exactly as requested. Mike took on board the fact that the timescales were tight, quickly turned around the quote and was able to accommodate all of our requirements. We were contacted by phone with an ETA at both ends, the team arrived on time, loaded the vans within an hour and a half, paying particular attention to numerous boxes labelled ‘fragile’ and handled them with due care and attention, and then they were away. The following day the vans arrived, again with a phone call in advance and plenty of notice, exercised the same efficiency and care when unloading everything and within a further short period of time the team were away and we were in. All of the team were friendly, polite, with a great sense of humour and worked tirelessly to alleviate all the stress and concern that moving home invariably entails. From the initial competitive quotation to closing the doors on the storage container, this company completed all tasks to the highest standards of competency and excellence and managed to do so with the utmost friendly courtesy throughout. Moving house is said to come third on the list of most stressful life events after bereavement and divorce. Just wanted to say a very belated thank you! I was anxious about my move and having used Mike and the team before, knowing it was them coming to move my things was one less thing to worry about. To say they lightened the metaphorical load would be an understatement. They were quick, efficient and friendly as ever. There was even the same joke about the number of boxes of shoes - I can’t promise this will have reduced when I move again in two years, but I do know I will be contacting Mike again!

Our Van Man Exeter experience was great. The team turned up promptly, checked the situation then got on with the job with zero complaints and a friendly attitude. They worked in unison to avoid bumping walls and doorways, they really knew what they were doing. We used Mike and his team to move my sister in law from Budleigh Salterton in Devon to Orpington Kent. From start to finish the whole of Mikes team were excellent. We had a big farmhouse full of things which were important to us and the removals men worked quickly and with care emptying our home. Because of the distance we were moving they kept the things overnight in their secure compound and delivered them at the time they said they would to our new property. I had the pleasure of using Van Man removals yesterday for my fairly local move. Right from the start , Mike responding promptly and professionally and quickly answered any queries. They offer a very competitive price and are very comparable to the bigger companies in terms of service. On my moving day , the crew had moved everything by 09:15 only having arrived at 08:30!! Everything has handled with care , professionalism and respect. Although speedy it was not rushed. They made a theoretically stressful day not stressful at all! I would have absolutely no doubt in recommending Van man removals to my friends or family as they were absolutely fantastic.

My guess is, readers here will have an empathy with our situation: We had too much stuff and were worried. Thankfully, the removal team were excellent from beginning to end. Team boss Mike B was always reassuring and where possible said he would try to accommodate our various requests. Particularly impressed with their help packing our container at the other end of our move, really made our day. I have moved many times in the past, and I have to admit that the move from Exeter to the countryside was the least painful of them all. Why? Well, the Van Man crew were absolutely brilliant. Van Man offered a competitive quote, easy to read and sign contracts (all online) and a crew of 4 great chaps showed up at 9AM. Within 3 hours they had packed 3 lorries, left no scratches on walls, protected the staircase in the old house and off we went to the new place. The team had dismantled beds and upon arrival at the cottage, it became apparent that getting all the furniture through the door may be tricky. And it was, but the team pulled it off. I was particularly grateful for them getting a US King Sized mattress through the doors, up the stairs and installed. The crew was upbeat, polite and hyper efficient. Most of the crew had experience with both national and international moves and the standard of work was on par with any of the very large firms. Not a single glass was broken, no walls were damaged... I just wanted to thank Mike and his crew again for the amazing experience. I recommend Van Man to anyone seeking a removal company. From start to finish, they were faultless: a quick response to our initial enquiry; we asked for boxes and they also supplied bubble wrap and paper; they kept us informed when lockdown happened; they arrived on time, actually a few minutes early; they laid out their protective mats; they worked really hard and carefully; they travelled to the destination quickly; unloaded as requested; and were cheerful right to the end. Really polite and friendly team, carefully disassembled and reassembled items for safe travel. Cleaned up after themselves and were quick and efficient at a very competitive price. Second time I’ve used the firm and I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Van Man Removals and Storage packed and took away items of furniture, paintings (some of which were large canvases), a number of ornaments and other small items, many fragile. All items were professionally packed, on time, by friendly and efficient personnel. Everything was then stored at Van Man's storage facility. After a year in storage, everything was delivered at the time and date promised, to a different address. No damage, deterioration, or missing items. Van Man Removals showed professionalism and flexibility throughout The personnel involved were cooperative and friendly at all times. I have no hesitation in recommending Van Man's services.

I needed a piano moving at short notice from its location in Devon to my place near Oxford. This necessitated meeting them at the location, loading the instrument and then driving to Oxford to receive it. Sounds simple but! I was delayed by a major traffic hold-up on the way there. Mike contacted me proactively to suggest a delay to the meeting time which we agreed. His team were there on the dot, picked up the piano with professional expertise (not to say strength!), loaded the van and were on their way in twenty minutes. We met as arranged at the destination and the unloading and emplacement was done in similar time. Excellent response to my original enquiry offering date options and flexibility, clear communication, first class execution and the price was 20% less than the nearest quote.

But this time round it was my mother-in-law who I was helping to move so I thought I'd better get the professionals in! I've got to say, I'm really glad I did. I first contacted Mike when we 'thought' we were moving. We unfortunately through no fault of our own had a protracted time before we exchanged contracts and had a defined moving date. At all times Mike was incredibly patient and accommodating and did his best to pin down a constantly moving date. Once the move was on we had a prompt delivery of boxes and we got packing. A 2 day removal went like clockwork. The lads were polite, incredibly helpful and really enjoyable to have around during what was a major event for us. The amount they moved was stunning, so quick and all with a smile on their faces. I cannot recommend these people enough, they were just so good.

Very pleased with the service on this job. Communication arranging the job was efficient and prompt. On the day the team were competent, polite turned up on time, well equipped and reasonably priced for moving our piano. I had asked several firms and had figures quoted which seemed ridiculously low and many seemed to be hopelessly prepared for size of job.

Recently used Van Man Removals for a large move in Exeter. We had the team help pack up our house and then come back a few days later to do the actual move. I was very impressed with Van Man removals from my first contact with them and their helpful quotation visit through to the actual removal job :) A massive thanks to Luke and Matt for the fantastic job they did moving my stuff from Exeter to Whitley Bay in Tyneside. They cleared the Exeter house quickly & carefully with good humour considering the awful weather that morning. They were also quick to get hold of wardrobe boxes when they realized these weren't on the vans. They also dropped a bed off in Taunton on the way which was included in the original quotation. This was a big help & one less thing for me to sort out. The next morning they arrived on time & again despite the weather were in good spirits & did a great job unloading everything. What a great firm! - we used them to move my 94 year old dad from Tiverton to Swindon a couple of weeks earlier, then had our own move completed. From start to finish they were superb - really helpful in sorting (and holding) a date, then friendly, helpful and hard-working on the day of the move. I was most impressed with their professional attitude and they worked extremely hard emptying a second floor flat. They in fact finished the work half a day earlier than anticipated. Van Man Removals gave a great service for a very competetive price. We couldn't be more pleased. We had a very prompt call from Mike and a visit for costing the job. The price wasn't the cheapest quote but included a package of boxes, a large roll of bubble wrap and masses of wrapping paper plus rolls of parcel tape. This package made the quote our best pick for value and convenience. There was also a clear contract so we knew what to expect making the company much more professional than the competitors. On the day three men arrived to load the two luton vans while two drove up and unloaded. They were all very friendly, hard workers and looked after the goods carefully, plus a good sense of humour. A really excellent company from start to finish, they made my move totally painless. Mike was really helpful throughout, responding really quickly to all my questions. Darryl did a great job of assessing what was required and the packaging bundle arrived promptly when expected. Moving our family from Surrey to Devon we had enough on our plate and Mike and his team made the act of hiring removals hassle-free.
