Despite a couple of set-backs to the installation date, Viking installed the boiler as scheduled, finished on time and on budget. They took a lot of trouble to get everything right and even helped with a couple of other problems with the heating system.

We are very pleased with the work Kristian has done when replacing our back boiler with a combi boiler. He turned up on time and stayed late when needed to and the quality of workmanship was excellent. And he cleaned up after himself, I would highly recommend Viking heating plumbing and heating.

Had this company replace our old boiler with a new Worcester Bosch one. Would recommend to anyone as Kristian worked hard all day, stayed late to clear up and took all the rubbish etc. away with him. He placed floor protector over the tiled floors, took his shoes off when going upstairs. Looked after the property as if it was his own. Communication was great. No problems with this installation. I would recommend to anyone looking for plumbing and heating work to be carried out.

Kristian, with Tyler and Stuart, did a very professional job replacing my oil boiler, making sure that they left all the plumbing work in far better condition than they found it. It was evident that they all had a really good understanding of the whole system. They worked so hard to get all the work done leaving me with every confidence that it was an excellent job and that the amount charged was very fair.

Viking Plumbing Services Ltd came highly recommended, after I being let down by other contractors. Text message sent to Kristian which he responded to that day to discuss further, appointment made for him to call round the following evening to look at the job. I was impressed following our initial meeting, Kristian came across as very confident, giving me a full description of what the job entailed and how long he expected it to take. I required the new boiler to be installed ASAP, Kristian was able to support this and gave me a proposed start date pending the availability of Worcester to supply the required boiler and my acceptance of his detailed quote. On Thursday 2nd September Cameron and Tyler arrived as scheduled, to remove the old boiler and flush out the existing system. They were friendly, polite and very professional in all that they did. I was very impressed with the floor protection they immediately laid down, which went from the front door, down the hall, up the stairs and along the landing. All work went ahead as planned and with no issues, they also got the new boiler mounted on the wall and helped me out by undertaking a couple of small plumbing jobs that I needed doing. The following day Kristian, Cameron and Tyler arrived to complete the install and commission the new system. Once completed I received a thorough explanation of how the new system is operated and controlled, along with all the certification. Great job great company.

Kristian was very good at answering calls, came out to inspect when he said he would and quoted us within a day very fast and on the ball and very detailed on the invoice. Arranged the boiler to be replaced at a time when we would be home. It was completed the days we agreed. Very neat and tidy replacement with using quality parts. And made sure we were connected to hive to control temperature of our new boiler. Also had taps replaced which are high quality. Very happy with everything Kristian,Cameron and Tyler on the work they did to replace our boiler. Highly recommended. Very good on price and extremely honest.

We had a pressurised cylinder installed which was quite a big job taking 2 days. Our plumber recommended Viking Plumbing Services to us and Kristian came out to assess the job and give us the run down on what it would entail. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and we felt confident for him to carry out the job for us. They turned up at the time agreed and worked very efficiently to complete the job. They gave good instructions for the functioning of the cylinder and Kristian came back a couple of days later to check the system. Everything was working well and we were told if we ever had any queries to contact them. All in all we have been very pleased with the installation and the service given by them.

I selected Viking Plumbing Services Limited based on the reviews I had read on Which? Trusted Traders, for the job of replacing an oil boiler. Kristian was clear, friendly and professional in all his dealings with me. More importantly, the standard of work that he and his team carried out over the week-long project, was superb. In short, I would recommend this contractor without reservation.

Viking came recommended by my son who works in the building trade where they have a good reputation. We were not disappointed. The team were clean and tidy, putting floor covering in all relevant rooms and cleaning up at the end of the day. The team of three were polite and friendly at all times and we were comfortable having them in the house even when we were at work. They fitted a new gas boiler and pressurized tank in the airing cupboard. The quality of the work is clearly excellent with good after sales service, returning on consecutive days as planned to ensure the pressurized tank temperature is correct. I am amazed by the power of my shower with this tank. They stuck rigidly to the quote even though they were here half a day longer than anticipated. For future work, I will stick with this company and not seek quotes elsewhere.

Kristian and his team arrived on Monday morning and proceeded to carry out a boiler replacement, firstly they laid coverings over the flooring to avoid dirtying our carpets then checked exactly what they were required to achieve. They removed the old boiler quickly and installed the new boiler and by the end of the first day, we had heating and hot water, brilliant! The second day they installed an additional radiator at my request and also offered to do a couple of small jobs voluntarily. They finished the installation on the Tuesday afternoon having cleared up and removed all rubbish. Kristian and his team were very friendly and efficient, we are very pleased with our choice of heating contractor.

All the paperwork it was clear and prompt and accurate we had a new boiler installed and the work was thorough and efficiently done and all the rubbish push removed and the bungalow was left clean and tidy we met three 3 workman including the owner of the business and they were friendly and helpful

Viking heating and plumbing put a new Worcester boiler in for my mother in law, they were very quick and efficient putting the boiler in, and left her house all clean and tidy, and importantly toastie warm.

Kristian Lay ( Viking Plumbing) when requested, gave a very prompt and detailed estimate for the work I requested to be carried out, and I thought the cost to be very reasonable, compared with some other estimates I received from other installers. He estimated the work would take two days, which it did, despite a couple of unforeseen problems, which were coped with calmly within the time slot and at no extra cost to me. Kristian and his team worked quietly and efficiently, went to great lengths to protect the contents of the room and flooring, and cleared up afterwards very well. On completion, he went to great lengths to explain the workings of the boiler and did not mind answering some inane questions from me. Altogether I found the whole experience very satisfactory, and would certainly recommend Viking Plumbing to anyone that asked for my opinion.

Excellent service from Kristian and crew at Viking. Cannot fault from the initial advice for a problematic existing boiler to future proofing (conversion of this Worcester oil combi to renewable biomass further down the line), to the actual installation. Despite carpets/boards coming up to find pipework, many hours needed to flush existing radiators/pipework, and tiling coming out of the shower room for pipework - everything was dealt with professionally and I was kept informed every step of the way. The house was left clean and tidy every night. The boiler wasn't cheap, but I hope it will have many years of service ahead and can be converted to renewable at some suitable point. 7-year warranty also gives peace of mind. A genuinely nice bunch of people, doing a first-class job.

We had a new Worcester Bosch boiler installed by Viking Heating , the work that was done was excellent, completed on time and for the price quoted. Before starting work plastic carpet protector was layed down through the house,something I wasnt expecting and when the job was finished everything was made good and cleared away, they even fixed a leaking outside tap for me that I hadnt even mentioned. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend Kristian and his team.

It was our pleasure to have had our gas boiler replaced by Kristian of Viking Heating and Plumbing. This potentially disruptive work was carried out with impressive expertise, together with the utmost of tidiness. The project entailed the removal of our old Potterton Gas Boiler followed by the installation of the new Worcester Gas Boiler. During the course of work, Kristian discovered that the wiring to the water-pump had been omitted from the existing manual control box. To circumvent the problem, I requested that we have the Hive management system in place of the existing manual control box. Kristian agreed to do this extra work at minimum extra cost to our final bill. When work was completed we were given a good demonstration of the new system together with how to use Hive.

Kristian is exceptional in my experience. From the first contact to completion of the job his comms & professionalism were excellent. He and his team completed the job (Worcester oil fired boiler installation) to budget & on schedule, though extra work was encountered along the way. Our 18 year old oil boiler was replaces by Viking Plumbing Services Ltd, for a new external Worcester Bosch. A new larger hot water tank was also relocated and installed along with 4 new thermostatic radiator valves & new control equipment including a Hive control system. The work was undertaken within the allotted timescale and to a very high standard. The carpets and flooring were protected and at the end of each day the house was left clean and tidy. Viking are a very professional company. They provided a quote setting out costs which did not alter apart from a pump that was unforeseen but was discussed and agreed at the time. The standard of work is to a very high standard having seen one of their previous jobs as well. Having looked on the internet for a Worcester approved boiler installer, we came across Viking plumbing and heating who had good reviews. After contacting Kristian for a quote which was competitive compared to others we had received, we decided to go ahead. We were very pleased with their work, they were very tidy and covered all carpets with a plastic protector. Would recommend and are planning to have them back to install underfloor heating for our planned extension.

Viking Plumbing Services removed our very old back boiler and gas fire and relocate a brand new boiler upstairs. From start to finish their work was exemplary. The team were friendly, trustworthy and professional at all times. They worked very tidily and dealt with my two pesky indoor cats very well! We decided to replace our aged oil fired boiler at a holiday let we own in Norfolk. As we live in East Sussex we required a trustworthy contractor who could be left to organise and complete this project with minimal supervision. Having obtained 3 very similar Priced quotations we opted for Viking Plumbing Services partly as Worcester Bosches preferred contractor but also because of their prompt response to our enquiry, positive and professional attitude at our meeting on site and prompt provision of a quotation ( we did not opt for cheapest quote). Kristian kept us informed of delivery/installation times with very little prompting and the work was carried out when specified ( if not a day earlier) and completed within the quoted timeframe. The installation was neat and tidy and Kristian and his team made intelligent decisions with regards to implementing the installation. We were particularly impressed that Viking included little “extra” jobs just so the installation met their satisfaction which I am sure other contractors would not have bothered with. All in all our experience with Viking was 1st class and we are very happy with their work.

Viking Plumbing installed our combi boiler professionally and with care a couple of years ago. It was a competitive quote. We have used them for servicing and ad hoc work since. The whole team are professional. Recently particularly impressed by attention to care regarding Covid whilst replacing a tap for us. Without prompting a mask was used, anti bacterial for surfaces and even gate was wiped down! Would not hesitate to recommend.

There were a number of unexpected issues with the old heating system that were dealt including replacement of a lot of the existing pipe work. Our old boiler finally packed up and the weather was very cold and we had no hot water. Some companies dithered and gave vague ideas of when they could fit a new Worcester Boiler at our home. When we contacted Viking Plumbing Services Ltd of Beccles, they were friendly, helpful and decisive. They gave us a confirmed date for two days after our enquiry and they confirmed on the evening before that they would arrive at 08:30. On the dot the next day two friendly and professional installers arrived and they ensured that our hall floor and our hall carpet were well covered before starting work. They worked tirelessly for 9 hours that day with just a short break removing the old boiler and installing the new one so that we had heat and hot water for the evening. They returned the next day and they continued their work renewing some of the pipework and completely flushing the radiator system. Again, it was a full day and they worked tirelessly. Kristian, the Company director, came later on to inspect the work and he installed a new plug too. When the work was completed, we were given a service document for the boiler and the guarantee. I cannot praise this company enough for their commitment, hard work and professionalism. Excellent company.

When our 28 year old Worcester Bosch boiler finally gave up we contacted Viking heating as authorised Worcester Bosch installers. From the first contact Kristian always made us confident with his knowledge and approach to work. His team were always polite and courteous. Attention to detail, whether when working around our home or keeping us updated was excellent the first thing they did was to put carpet protector down and always took their shoes off when they came indoors. Kristian and his team were a pleasure to have working at our home. They did an excellent installation, and even though they had some unexpected challenges to overcome they still came out as per quote. I would thoroughly recommend them without hesitation.

Kristian's team power flushed our central heating system as we had been advised it needed doing after a new pump had to be fitted. They arrived on time, protected the carpets well and were polite and friendly. The job took 8 hours and they were on hand all the time keeping an eye on it and checking it was all going as it should. Recently I have had a series of boiler failures which needed to be replaced. When our boiler finally gave up and flooded the kitchen floor on Wednesday 16th of October Viking Plumbing and Heating were contracted to replace it with a new Worcester Bosch oil fired boiler. The earliest they said they could begin work was November 4th but in the event it was on Tuesday 5th Nov. This meant that we had been 3 weeks without hot water or heating (other than electric heaters) and at a time when my wife was quite unwell and we experiencing a cold spell; it was not an ideal situation for tradesmen to begin work which, at times, required moving from room to room, into the loft, and with outside doors frequently left open. The work involved removing the old boiler and flue, re-plumbing and installation of new boiler. An initial estimate of three days eventually became five days and we finally got heat and hot water at 7.30pm on Saturday 9th Nov. Throughout Kristian Lay and his team (1 other, sometimes 2 ) were always friendly , courteous and sensitive to the particular needs of our situation. They were hard working and meticulous in solving any problems that arose, and always left our property perfectly clean at the end of each day. I am very pleased with the quality and value of the service they provided and would be happy to recommend them to others.

They fitted our central heating system 4 years ago and have maintained it for us. We have no complaints. They are efficient and friendly.

We used Viking Plumbing & Heating to install our Worcester Bosch boiler, update the flue and provide a condensate connection. As events transpired the day chosen for this work turned out to be the hottest of the summer, at around 90°c, yet Kristian and his two staff did not let the stifling conditions slow their progress. The whole task including a full power-flush of the existing radiators was completed on schedule within budget and we were delighted with the results.

When our very old oil boiler on our equally old central heating system sprung a major water leak we approached three different companies for replacement quotes. Viking Plumbing & Heating carried out and designed a new heating system for our house that was being renovated. Quality time was spent with us explaining the different options available. On good advice a new complete heating system was installed including new copper pipe work under the floors and radiators. The work was carried out by fully qualified gas engineers ensuring minimal disruption. After each day of work, the property was left clean and tidy at all times. The work carried out was at the agreed schedule and budget. I would not hesitate in recommending Viking Plumbing and Heating as I have already done.

Initially Kristian & Cameron came to relocate my sink, dishwasher and under floor heaters during Kitchen renovations. Later installing new water softener and reconnecting the sink & dishwasher. They worked very well alongside other trades. During this time it became apparent that our boiler, hot water tank and immersion were faulty. Kristian said I must get 3 quotes, which I did but his came out the cheapest and because he was local and could offer an annual service we chose his company. Kristian came within 2 weeks and he and Cameron & Tyler (trainee) arrived early every morning, laid protective flooring down and proceeded to work tirelessly and efficiently and most importantly stuck to budget. They were always polite and courteous. They gave us clear instructions on to what they had to do and why. They disconnected the old boiler and replaced it with a new boiler, hot water tank, immersion, new flue and miles of pipes. The pipe work done by Kristian in the boiler room was exceptional - very neat and tidy. All the above was a major change for us to get this work done and fairly quickly, so Kristian fitted us in as soon as he could and started and finished when he said. We had one minor issue during the first week but Kristian came around as soon as he could to investigate but found nothing. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Old boiler was 10 years old and had decided to change from open vent system to sealed system to reduce air in system, improve efficiency and reduce noise. Contacted Viking Plumbing & Heating, returned call promptly and visited a few days later to discuss my wants. Very helpful with choice of boiler, location and change of flue. Chose Worcester for reliability and quality. Kitchen location with flow/return up thru ceiling suited Worcester as piping contained behind boiler. An old radiator was also removed. Initially 3 days were allowed for work, but job completed in 2.5 days to budget. System flushed/cleansed initially. Impressed by quality of installation. Old flue holes and pipe holes filled. Standard of plumbing was excellent, with system fill and filter in suitable location for service. Flow/return pipes had to be revised with new flue thru kitchen ceiling. Surprised that coving was replaced and ceiling repaired with matching textured finish. Installation team were friendly and efficient. Overall very pleased.

I contacted Kristian just before Christmas about needing a new boiler installed. He got back in touch straight away and managed to fit us in just after the New Years! He explained the works he was going to do and always made sure I was happy with what he was doing. He ripped out the old boiler, and installed a brand new Boiler within a couple of days. The old boiler was taken and a new WorcesterBosch condensing boiler was installed. The radiators were flushed out and balanced. Took about two days and we are very pleased with the work. This company has many good reviews for their work and they are well deserved.

Very satisfied with Viking Plumbing Services when they installed my boiler in December 2018. I obtained 4 quotes from various suppliers to get an idea of what price range to expect. Kristian's quote was the cheapest but I didn't engage him straight away. I also checked his online reviews via TrustPilot and found that he was highly regarded. So I booked him to complete the installation. Glad that I did - he was considerably cheaper than the highest quote (by some margin). And the work he did was up to the highest standard. He was professional and courteous during the 2.5 days he was on site. Boiler and heating have been working fine ever since. If you are prepared to go for an independent trader, rather than the big name companies - then Viking Plumbing Services are a very good outfit. What tipped the balance to why I chose VPS - Some of the bigger companies can offer free extended service deals as part of their pricing quote. Read the small print. And then check individual boiler/heating cover from outfits such as British Gas. If you use VPS and then add on a 10 year service cover onto VPS original quote - you will find that VPS is still cheaper (just) and that you will have a better cover package to boot.

Viking installed a replacement Worcester Bosch combi boiler (September 2018). The price was competitive. They listened to what I wanted, and explained everything clearly (much appreciated by this non-technical person!) They were punctual and friendly, and left everything clean and tidy. Viking carried out a complex change to the central heating system in our 200 years old house including the installation of a propane fired combi boiler in a different room from the previous oil fired boiler. The pipework was re-routed and a new radiator installed. The work was done on time , in a highly professional manner . Kristian and Cameron are both very competent, friendly and good humoured.
