I found WalkerAutos on Which? Trusted Trader and called in on spec. It is a small workshop tucked behind shops, and I found Dave who was shutting up for the day. He was very friendly and accommodating, taking time to chat and answer my questions. My 2019 mini is still within warranty and I was keen that genuine Mini parts would be used and that it was possible for the BMW computerised database to be updated. Without prompting, Dave recommended use of genuine parts and reassured the service would comply with Mini recommended standards. I put my trust in him and booked the car in. Prior to the service, Dave confirmed he’d applied for and passed the BMW vetting process for approval to update the online service record. On picking up the car, he showed me the old filters he’d replaced and even the boxes the new parts had come in. Never known that before! As promised, he had listed the individual part numbers on the invoice and updated the computerised service records with same. A fair price was charged for a good job well done and based upon my experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending Dave to others. Thank you Dave!

Dave collected the car from my home and did all the repairs. It was a difficult and time consuming job which no other mechanic would have been able to do. He did it to the highest of standards. He even kept the car running for me while I was in hospital. He keeps costs down where possible. He is 100% reliable. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is honest hard working reliable and the best mechanic to go to. I cannot thank him enough. He looks after and maintains the car for me now as I am old and unable to go to him. I have always found Walker Autos to provide a great service. For both regular servicing and ad-hoc repairs. I have always found Dave to be very approachable and valued his advice. Labour charges are very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

I took my Freelander for service and MOT today. Dave provided me with a spot clean and nice courtesy car while mine was been worked. Dave was really helpful, friendly and gave me advise. The final bill was higher than the quote but he did his best to explain me the reasons and I completely follow his rationale. I have found a reliable garage and Dave has the best attitude ever.

Popped into this garage on the way home from work as the front spring had gone on my Mazda. Dave quickly spoke me though options and prices. I brought my car during my break and was swiftly called after a few hours that work was completed., yay! On collection Dave informed me that he had also topped up my screen wash (which I had neglected to do out of laziness) Dave’s knowledge is outstanding and he was an absolute pleasure to do business with. My only complaint is that I can’t give more than 5 stars! Will definitely be recommending to colleagues and friends. Thanks Dave!

Just had my Polo serviced locally. Excellent communications. Explained and shown which parts were replaced and why. Very fair and reasonable costs (unlike Main Dealer)! But no lounge to sit in or free coffee.

St Helen's School has used Dave Walker to look after it's vehicles for many years. Dave fixed a problem with our new minibus which even the main dealer could not do. He is very reliable, honest and always goes above and beyond to deliver excellent service. I have no hesitation in recommending Dave Walker. He is a good, honest mechanic who knows his stuff.

I had not used this garage before, but Dave came out to inspect the car, arranged collection and delivery back when the work was finished and generally went over and above to deliver fantastic customer service. I would definitely recommend and use again.
