I am an overseas landlord with elderly tenants, so it was particularly important that the new boiler installation was carried out quickly and efficiently. This West London Gas have done within a week, and immediately sent on all the relevant certification, photos and a video of the rerouting of the pipework that was necessary for this installation. Dear Andrew Here is my feedback on the installation of my Worcester 400 18 system boiler. I was very pleased with the way the work was carried out. From the start, clear advice was given on the types of boilers available and the different options such as wall mounted or free standing. The installation was carried out as scheduled and through the hard work of your engineers the extra day set aside to deal with any unforeseen difficulties was not required. I cannot praise your engineers highly enough. They worked virtually non stop on what was potentially a tricky installation. At the end of both days they did a thorough job of tidying up and took away all the resulting 'rubbish' and debris. At all times they were very polite and took care to ensure my two cats did not get out onto the front road. I appreciated this and felt free to leave them to get on with the job. When the installation was completed clear instructions were given on how to operate the new boiler. A very thorough check was made that everything was in working order. I was also given reassurances that they would come back even over the weekend if necessary if I had any problems. I have used West London Gas for many years and have every confidence in them. If I have had any problem with my old boiler an engineer would come round at short notice to sort it out. Best wishes Mavis Holt

The boiler was repaired and some parts were replaced. The work was completed according to schedule. The workers were polite, knowledgeable and highly professonial. There was minimum disruption and no mess left behind. Despite the Chiristmas and new year break, the manager Andrew Scrimgeour agreed to undertake the work as soon as possible. The engineer Jonathan knew exactly what was required and completed everything on time. There was excellent communication before, during and after completeion of work. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend West London Gas Ltd.

Andrew arranged for a repair to our boiler at very short notice despite us not being a client of theirs previously, Jonathan attended as planned and identified a faulty heating pump, explaining and showing me the problem and what was required to resolve it, he replaced it within a few hours and restored the heating and hot water to our house. Later that day another fault occurred with the boiler, not related, it is an old boiler, a call to Andrew late Fri evening quickly identified what the problem was, although he couldn't get anyone to us until Monday, as his staff were all pre-booked, he kept up communication with us via text over the weekend. Monday morning Peter arrived as scheduled and quickly identified the fault, he carried our repairs and left all in working order. I would highly recommend West London gas, very knowledgeable, friendly staff, responsive and communicative, they saved what could a been a very cold Christmas!

They came to disconnect two large, old gas fires, cut and cap the pipes. Gave advice over phone (about gas fire safety issues) which was useful, came promptly, very pleasant workman who did the job in about 25-30 minutes and also helped move the two heavy fires when the scrap dealer came to take them away, which was much appreciated. The finish was very neat and slightly. Would certainly recommend and will use again.

We have been West London Gas Limited customers for a few years, we have done regular maintenance jobs but also replaced the boiler through them and fixed the thermostat. Compared to other suppliers we have tried in the past, West London Gas Limited has always delivered quality work, which lasted for years and did not need fixing, we also appreciate their transparent pricing policy and above all their availability to intervene by phone or in person even at short notice - always in a processional and very courteous manner.

Most recently, one of their engineers gave the boiler its annual service, but also, in 2019, it was they who installed that same boiler. And, previously, they serviced and occasionally repaired our old boiler. They are always efficient, punctual and lovely to deal with.

Andrew and his team have serviced my boiler for about 10 years. Always reliable , on time and super efficient. Last Wednesday about 9 in the evening I emailed Andrew indicating my boiler pressure was low and just asking for advice on whether it was a problem. He rang at 9 the next day and by 12 o’clock had called in and fixed pressure. I have no idea about technical issues but I give Andrew and the guys one hundred percent trust in what they say and do. This is exemplary service. I I highly recommend this company .

I've used West London Gas several times for small jobs I've needed (mainly to service/fix a gas dryer where no one else could help). Sadly the gas dryer parts are no longer available and obsolete. So this time, I needed a gas pipe capped and the gas dryer disconnected. The work was done in 20 mins, with the engineer help remove the dryer and lift the new one in place. The appointment was available within 2 days, the engineer arrived on time and was super helpful, polite and efficient. The site was left tidy and would have them back any time for future work. I have recommended them without any issue for other bigger jobs - which they seem just as happy to do as with smaller jobs.

After contacting west london gas about replacing my old boiler , a survey was carried out by andrew and his assistant . I was given different options and what size boiler i needed as well as the quote . I opted for vaillant 18kw. A suitable day and time was arranged . On the day the heating engineers arrived on time and explained everything . The new boiler was installed within few hours . Also installed was a Hive thermostat programmed to my mobile phone . I am now able to switch the heating and hot water on and off from my mobile phone even when not at home . A very efficient way of heating my home. very helpful and knowledgeable engineers.Exellent and proffesional service.

I contacted West London Gas as I had no heat or hot water due to a suspected faulty heat pump - not great at this time of year! Andrew Scrimgeour and his team were brilliant from the get go. Polite, honest and very clear on next steps. Two engineers were able to come to my home earlier than expected and I was kept up to date on WhatsApp at all times. They explained everything on arrival, were courteous, tidy and pleasant. I have no hesitation in recommending this company!

West London Gas have looked after the boiler and Landlord's Gas Safety Certificate in a house we let in Hammersmith over many years. I have always found them to provide a timely and efficient service. In this case it was an emergency repair to a boiler. With tenants unable to shower in an unheated house a timely repair is essential. West London inspected, procured parts and fixed the boiler (working on a Saturday to install the new parts). I strongly recommend West London Gas.

Replaced a faulty megaflo direct unvented cylinder

The West London Gas team made replacement of this tank a stress-free experience for us. They provided excellent phone and email advice before the job in terms of what was required for building regulations when replacing this type of cylinder. They suggested a quick visit before the job to see the situation and old pipework which I'm sure helped avoid problems. On the day they were on time and made no fuss of working in such a tight space. They were very tidy, careful and professional. They completed all the paperwork required by Heatrae Sadia. In addition to cheques and BACS, they have a simple system for payments by credit card which I appreciated as it's easy to make a mistake using BACS. We were very happy with the whole process.

I had a heavy column radiator that needed to be fitted in my upstairs master bedroom. My usual go-to heating engineer who had installed my other rads was unavailable so I engaged West London Gas. Sadly they were not capable, and it took three separate visits from them in an attempt to fit the radiator before I went back to my usual heating engineer who installed it professionally without any problems. The West London Gas team were polite and friendly guys but clearly there was an issue with experience and competency. The radiator got fitted crooked, then it was fitted and pulled away from the wall, and so on. They will blame the wall being weak, but my usual engineer was able to work with all of the walls in my house without any issue. I don't like having to leave bad reviews - but the review system is here so customers can share their experience and unfortunately I can't recommend these guys based on mine.

I had my entire central heating system flushed and a new boiler installed by this company. The three men who did it worked incredibly hard over two days and were very thorough. They laid dust sheets in the rooms where they worked on the radiators and cleaned up and removed materials and packaging at the end of each day. They were very friendly and before they left were careful to make sure that I understood the workings of the new boiler. The system hadn't been flushed for at least thirty years, possibly longer and every radiator is now working well. It's great. The other huge positive is the admin. When you ring you get Andrew in person. If he's busy with another call or with one of his team, he calls you back within five or ten minutes. When I first contacted him he sent someone round the next day to diagnose the problem. Once it was diagnosed he ordered the new boiler and I only had to wait a few days for them to come and do the work. He sorted out the warranty and the gas safety certificate and forwarded them to me for my records. An excellent company from every point of view.

Needed a new boiler as a matter of urgency, of all the people I contacted for a quote, West London Gas were, by far, the most professional right from the start. Luckily they were able to visit for a quote very quickly, and the same day I received a couple of emailed quote options (note - some companies did not want to do this even when I asked). Speaking with them about the quotes I found him to be very knowledgeable and he answered my questions, and helped me understand the differences in product and warranty etc. Luckily, again, they were able to install the new boiler within a few days of the quote, it was done within the day and everything is now all running perfectly. Frankly the most professional service I have ever received and I can whole-heartedly recommend them. Thank you West London Gas!

Last week West London Gas replaced an old floor boiler in my flat with a new combi boiler. I had been putting this off because I didn’t think it was going to be a straightforward job. However, from my very first call to the company and after speaking with Andrew in the office, who gave me advice about boilers, I felt I was going to be in safe hands. I was not wrong. The installation went very smoothly and the agreed schedule and budget was stuck to. The engineers, Peter, Jonathan and their apprentice were very pleasant, helpful and punctual. They were very professional at all times and left my flat very clean and tidy after completing the work. I had a query about the thermostat after the installation and once again Andrew was very helpful and I am confident that the company will happily provide any after care should it be needed. It was a refreshing experience to deal with such a professional company and I can highly recommend West London Gas.

West London Gas are my go-to company for anything to do with gas, heating and servicing. West London Gas fitted a boiler at my previous house and so when I moved I did not hesitate to call them in again. The owner came to my house, provide sensible and helpful advice and then quoted for the new boiler and some other work that was needed. The new boiler works well, the installation went very smoothly and the engineers are always helpful and pleasant. They were very efficient and they cleaned up afterwards and left the house tidy. I recommend them to anyone who asks.

My old boiler failed a day before I had to go into hospital. Although they were very busy, West London Gas came round the day after I was discharged and explained what had gone wrong. They quoted for a repair and, at my request, for a new boiler. They gave a clear explanation of the options. I opted for a new boiler, which they were able to install a couple of days later. The engineer, Jonathan, was polite and efficient. He kept me informed of progress and gave a helpful demonstration of the controls. I am delighted to have hot water again and very happy with the service from this company.

Engineer Peter visited initially and gave us a clear idea of our options for replacing our 20 year old boiler. This was followed up with two quotations for either a straight replacement for a heat only boiler or a switch to a combi boiler. Having opted for the Heat Only boiler this was fitted efficiently in a day by Peter and Jonathan who left things very tidy and clean after their work was finished. Very happy with the finished product and will be using West London Gas for the annual service.

A friend of mine recommended the West London Gas Limited to me. My heating thermostat had stopped working, and I had no heating. They sent the engineer, Edgar, the day after I phoned them. He arrived on time, and on his way had picked up the thermostat that I had required. From the point of initial phone contact to the completion of the job, everything went so smoothly. It was such a relief to have such helpful, approachable, professional people who were patient, courteous, and willing to give advice and support. Easy to communicate with, the whole process went so smoothly and it was all done to the agreed schedule and budget. Great job, great Company. I would certainly recommend them to friends and family. As we were left with no water whatsoever, we were delighted when we called West London Gas and they said they'd be able to help us in the afternoon. We were even more delighted when Edgar turned up on our doorstep 30 minutes later - about half a day earlier than expected. He worked tirelessly to fix the problem. Edgar is very skilled in many different areas - we've called him over the years to service our boiler, install our gas tumble drier, fix leaks and so he is first port of call in any home emergency. Andrew in the office is polite, professional and courteous. I thoroughly recommend West London Gas. They are a small, local and trustworthy.

The engineer was thorough and efficient. As well as doing the service, he took the time to explain some other matters, like how to adjust the pressure on the boiler and how to order suitable fuel for the gas fire. He also noticed that at some time in the past, before I moved into the house, ivy from outside had grown into the boiler flue (he removed a few twigs!) so now I know it is important to make sure the greenery is pruned regularly - something two previous gas engineers had not mentioned. It was a little more expensive than the company I used last year, but I think well worth the cost for the standard of service.

In a bit of a panic this morning as I had no hot water and the boiler was making horrible noises. Edgar came out within an hour, fixed the boiler, did a service, and even looked at a problem with my loo. The loo was not immediately fixable, but Edgar fitted a spare part he had with him and made sure it won’t flood. Polite, explained everything, left the bathroom clean and tidy. All this for little more money than I usually pay for my annual boiler service. So impressed.

I had an emergency call out on a Saturday, when I noticed the control panel on my boiler had slipped down. I found West London Gas Ltd on Which? Trusted Traders, after being let down by my usual boiler servicing company, who didn’t turn up for the emergency call out. Andrew answered the phone and asked me to send photos of the problem. He took the stress out of the situation, talking me through what to do for safety overnight. First thing the next morning Jonathan arrived checked the boiler, explained clearly what the problem was, put it right and made sure the boiler was working correctly. I have no hesitation in recommending this team.

Twice (Jan 2018 and Jan 2019), I had a misfortune of boiler (3-4 years old) broke down in the coldest day of the year and in the darkest hours in weekends. But, I was and am still very happy and relieved that, Edgar, the gas engineer from West London Gas Ltd came (2 days later of course). After a brief conversation, (in 2018) he got straight to work with no fuss and very quickly my boiler was working again. To me, its a big big headache; but to him it seems very trivial. He certainly has all the knowledge, skills and experience. He also completed other checks and finished work without any mess and within an hour. If another breakdown, I am sure will call WLGL again and happy to tell other who also have boiler breakdown.

I was off work with a cold and thought I should take the time to arrange the annual boiler service. I was expecting to have to wait for a while until an appointment came up but they were able to come the next day. I have used West London Gas before and they are brilliant! They turn up on time and keep you posted if any delays, keep work very neat and tidy, are able to explain what checks are made and they are very friendly and polite to deal with. Reasonably priced as well. Can thoroughly recommend their services.

This company installed our boiler 6 years ago and have serviced it annually since then. They always arrive on time and the engineer (usually Edgar) is very polite and helpful. I am always very pleased with his work, he is very efficient and leaves the area around the boiler clean and tidy. Customer service is a rarity these days but this company have it in abundance - Andrew in the office is always extremely helpful as well. I would never use anyone else for this type of work.

Having had my boiler serviced by West London Gas, I asked them back to fit my Nest Thermostat. As I was very happy with my boiler service (two other companies had made appts and failed to show up), I booked another appt. I am again very happy with their work. They are prompt, reliable, informed, tidy and get on with the job. I really do recommend them if you need anything in this line of work done. It's refreshing to find a company that a) are able to make an appointment b)actually turns up for it c)has professional people working for it d)has an easy payment system. I have used WLG for the first time this week. Having been let down by my plumber (who is no longer my plumber) for my boiler service, I turned to Which Trusted Traders and found West London Gas. Edgar knew exactly where the problem was and corrected the thermostat operation, which was a simple pin operation - to my relief and satisfaction. Lovely to speak to a real person rather than a machine or a call centre for a start. Easy appointment system for our yearly boiler service. Helpful, friendly and professional from start to finish (both the office and the brilliant Jonathan who conducted the service). I have given 4 stars for value, only to indicate there are cheaper companies out there for a standard service, not as a negative. We needed our old gas fire servicing recently, and West London Gas obliged with an appointment the next day. The person who answered explained what was likely to happen, how long it would take and the fees and had an pleasant, approachable manner. The operative duly arrived and completed the service quickly and without fuss, pointing out that I really needed a CO2 emissions monitor. I was grateful for this advice and had one installed there and then. The invoice and certificate duly followed and all is well so far - though no need for heating in high summer!

Work carried out - replaced 3 - port motorised valve, also 6 off radiator thermostatic valves after first draining. The system water, then refilling system and adding inhibitor. Finally, adjusted the flow to each radiator to ensure heating was acceptable in each of the eight rooms in my house. Explained in detail what work he had carried out, to my complete satisfaction and my budget for this work. His work was clean and he replaced all my furniture to their original places. A very polite and pleasant man and once again asked me if I was happy with the system just before leaving giving me his company's visiting card.

Our hot water failed on a Sunday (of course) and though the website refers to a 24/7 service, we were disappointed that we had no response to either of our two calls for help. However the matter was picked up on Monday and the engineer arrived early afternoon. He was courteous, friendly and efficient. He worked in a tidy and clean way and explained what he was doing and we had hot water within an hour. Very happy with the service.

They originally fitted a boiler (around 9 years ago), which is still working well, and have conducted gas safety checks on that boiler every year since I started renting the property. Our boiler stopped working An independent plumber tried to fix it without success. I contacted West London gas via their website and they responded very quickly. They also attempted to repair the boiler but it was starting to take too long and the expense was mounting. We agreed mutually to fit a new boiler that they recommended. This was done very quickly and has worked without any further problems. Much of the time (a lot) taken trying to fix the first boiler was discounted and their price for the job, considering the time spent, was very reasonable. All the workers we met and the admin worked well and were very courteous. I would recommend to anyone in this area with heating / water problems.

new boiler installation, new motorised valves, ripping out very old boiler, new water system etc. a wonderful experience. excellent workers, clean, tidy, it was not an easy job for them, but they were really first class, did not ever require teas and drinks and time off for lunches etc. Highly recommended.

At West London Gas we realise that replacing a boiler and upgrading a heating system can be daunting. However we try to make the experience from making the appointment for the quote to ultimately fitting the system and aftersales are as hassle free as possible. We will even ensure all the paperwork, including the registration and warranties of the new installation are all completed for you.

Prompt and cheerful service in replacing outdated central heating boiler by new condensing model and programmer. Subsequent visit to correct working of radiator controls. The office manager very helpful in directing me.
