We have problems with a downpipe causing flooding. Wicklen responded quickly, identified the issue and provided a written quote. The work was carried out by their friendly team. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it for the price quoted.

I had my flooding drains checked and repaired by Wicklen and was impressed with the work done. They also put in a manhole as there was no way to access the drains, so they are now future proofed for any emergency. The work was done in horrible weather and still completed ahead of schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I called Keith from Wicklen about a drainage issue I had with my underground pump station. They visited site on time and fixed the issue professionally and promptly without any issues at all. We had been suffering from intermittent sewer odours permiating into the bathroom and occasionally beyond, despite seeking advice from two plumbers and a drain specialist no satisfactory solutions were found. After contacting Wicklen, Harvee conducted a CCTV survey identifying damaged pipes and an unusual configuration of the waste piping. Additionally, he identified a defective soil vent pipe that needed replacing. The damaged piping was was replaced; the piping configuration was simplified, improving the flow of waste; the defective soil vent replaced and a second vent added, adjacent to our waste outlet. The patio and path paving was carefully replaced and the final result has been the elimination of odour and a far neater appearance of our exterior piping and drains. All work was carefully explained before being undertaken and carried out in a timely and professional manner.

The Wicklen team replaced the old drainage at my property. I'm delighted with the final result. The team were very professional, courteous and conscientious. Minimal mess during the job and left everything tidy afterwards.

I called Wicklen to deal with a blocked drain. They came quickly and assessed the situation, clearing away roots and allowing the worst of the effluent to drain away. They then came back to jet clean congealed fat from pipes and build up the manhole, which had been concealed under a lawn, to ground level. The job was done thoroughly and cleanly - even the turfs removed in the search for the manhole cover were relaid neatly. My only minor quibble was that I didn't have any real idea of the cost before the job was done. It would have been nice to have had a ball park idea of the spend as it went along and the likely final cost. I can't fault their service and would definitely recommend them.

The response to my initial enquiry was quick, and an initial quote was given based on my description of the work required. Arrangements were made for the work to start and the guys arrived when they said they would. The inital job was to tidy up kitchen drain outlets, but once started the guys unearthed what turned out to be a manhole cover that had been slabbed over in the past and completely unknown to us. It was agreed that the job should extend to properly reveal and level the manhole to provide access to the chamber, and the guys got straight on with the job even though a couple more days of work were required. WE are very pleaed with the result evrything looks tidy and worked properrly. All good, and would recommend this trader.

Keith and the team came initially to investigate foul smelling drains which we’d been experiencing. They were able to quickly identify the cause and provided a quote for completing this work. Once the work started they found more issues (not unexpected as the work is underground) but they were very open and honest with what was required and the cost of doing so. A thoroughly efficient and professional service provided by a very knowledgeable and experienced team. They checked our drainage system, water pumped a soakaway from a downpipe and installed a grille to prevent any future build up of silt. All completed within the proposed timeline and cost estimate.
