We were more than delighted with the service we received. Willis-West took full account of our needs and went far beyond the minimum to respond to them. The engineers were most punctual, most tidy and clearly were very expert in what they were undertaking. Various historical issues arose in the process of installation (our house is quite old) but they were addressed most professionally and with full consultation with us. I can fully recommend Willis-West without any reservation.

Mark was asked to service our gas boiler and investigate the control system which had stopped working properly. He clearly communicated the issues he found and worked through a properly costed and commercial solution to them. He never overpromised and always turned up when he said he would - the live tracking of his arrival time was extremely helpful. Boots off at the front door was a good first impression and was a sign of how tidy he left things. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark and will use him again.

I’ve found Mark of Willis West Plumbing & Heating to be someone you can rely on. He responds to phone and email messages in good time and does what he says he’s going to. He’s been very helpful with issues I’ve had in my property, willing to find a fix to trickier problems. Other tradesmen I’d spoken to were reluctant to take on a piece of work I needed done but Mark was able to come up with a solution and carry it out. Doing the job, he kept in mind the end result I was hoping to achieve and did this while keeping disruption to a minimum. The job required other tradesmen and Mark organised this too. I’ve been very happy with the support I’ve received from Mark and would continue to look to him in future.

Mark has provided a superb service. It was a long and complicated job - the old boiler needed changing along with the gas supply pipes, and the piping to the radiators. He also did a thorough check of the existing radiators. He removed all bathroom fittings so tiling work could be done, then reinstalled them, solving a problem with the position of the toilet cistern in the process. He also put in a new gas hob, kitchen sink and taps, and resolved a problem with the position of some of the kitchen piping. He installed new plumbing for a washing machine where there was none before. Mark has been reliable and flexible throughout, happy to co-ordinate his work with other tradesmen throughout the process. He's also been happy to accommodate changes to the original plan along the way. Where a small leak occurred into the downstairs flat, due to the old plumbing being replaced, he was proactive and quickly resolved the issue, communicating with all concerned and ensuring the problem was resolved. He's provided helpful advice along the way and his communication's been very good. I've been away for parts of this work and knowing I can rely on him has made a big difference. I'll be using his services again in the future.

We are thrilled to have recently found Mark Willis through this site and can vouch for the fact that he provides a fantastic service. From his first visit to assess the job, we realised he was someone who could be trusted. Our previous Worcester Bosch boiler had been driving us mad for well over a year. The pressure was continually dropping and our usual heating engineer suspected a leak but could not find out where it was coming from. We had wasted enough money on trying to get the boiler repaired and decided to go for a new one. It was only because of Mark's reputation (very much justified) that we went for another Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler instead of a Vaillant, also recommended by Which magazine. He removed the old boiler and installed the new one for us on Wednesday, all with the minimum of fuss and cleared up properly afterward. He arrived at around 8.30am as promised and by late afternoon, the new boiler was installed and working and Mark was showing us the controls. Quietly efficient, he instilled confidence right away and along with his keen, helpful and cheerful, young apprentice, Ben, he just got on with the job. And I think the overall cost was much the same as the cost of installing the previous Worcester Bosch boiler nearly 12 years ago. One thing I would like to add is to say how great it is to see someone taking on an apprentice and obviously training them well. Ben seemed very happy in his job. It was a pleasure to have them here.

Contacted Mark after my 13-year-old boiler gave up the ghost. He was very helpful & quickly diagnosed the problem and, as requested, provided a quote for the broken part (plus a service) and another for a new boiler. I opted for the new boiler which he was able to fit 2 days later and was fully operational by the afternoon of that day. He appeared to me to be well organised and just got on with it. At my request, he even had a look at an unused gas fire I've got to make sure it was safe. He also reduced his bill because the work wasn't as difficult as anticipated! Sterling effort - certainly will use again.

Mark installed a new boiler for me, and I was happy with the job and service he provided from start to finish. After calling Mark during his holiday week, he unexpectedly got back to me on the weekend before returning to work to see what he could help with. By this time I had spoken to other boiler experts, who were nice enough, but I trusted Mark’s advice and it was also important to me that he was a very friendly guy too…life’s too short to work with unfriendly people who don’t seem to want your business!! After speaking through what I was looking for with Mark he provided a number of quotes (one for a particular model that was cheaper than another company’s quote, who had only provided one single quote too) and I was able to choose a boiler that suited my needs. My job was given unexpected priority due to the critical hot water issues we were experiencing and not too long after contacting Mark he was in the flat and installing the new appliance. The installation was completed with minimal fuss and mess. Throughout our doing business Mark was also an excellent communicator and made it clear he would be available if any post-installation issues. Very happy with the service provided, top job Mark!!

Mark Willis has completed two jobs for me – annual service of gas boiler and, most recently, replacing the toilet syphon and fill valve – and I have been impressed with his workmanship, attention to detail and exemplary customer service skills. Throughout the process from initial enquiry through to completion of work, Mark is responsive, friendly and approachable. On his last visit to fix the issue with the toilet cistern, I asked Mark to adjust the fitting on the kitchen tap, and this he did willingly and at no extra cost. In addition, his rates are very competitive. Overall, Mark offers a reliable and professional service. I asked Mark at very short notice to fit a new boiler for my elderly parents when their original boiler failed the gas safety inspection. I have previous experience of Mark's excellent workmanship in our own home; hence, I trusted him to do the work for my parents. Mark rearranged his schedule to fit the new boiler as soon as possible. Mark and his team worked incredibly hard to ensure the work was completed within a day and with minimal disruption and stress to my parents. On completion of the work, a family member commented that "Mark has left the place spotless. You wouldn't know they'd been". The new boiler is working well, Dad is hugely relieved. Mark worked exceptionally well to work out the best solutions to our need for a new boiler without disrupting the rest of the house and plumbing. This used a series of wifi units to great effect. The boiler replacement was not straightforward due to age and space constraints but the end result was excellent. Mark communicated well at all stages and was great at keeping the house clean and tidy. I think the key element for me in deciding on Mark for the work was the way he ensured he understood the system and my requirements. I would use mark again for any work required.

Mark (Willis-West) impressed at his initial visit to the site with his knowledge of possible problems and solutions to the replacement boiler installation. He provided a variety of options in his quote which was helpful in informing my decision on which boiler would be best for our particular requirements. Mark organised the necessary scaffolding for the work and a timescale for its installation/removal, and the actual boiler installation itself. Mark was helpful in offering to chase up the scaffolding firm in the event of the scaffolding not being removed at the agreed time, although this wasn't necessary, as it turned out. Mark and his colleague Davie attended the site on the agreed date and worked steadily almost without a break to complete the work in 1 day rather than the 2 days which had initially been pencilled in. They were both pleasant and courteous and took care to keep the flat clean and tidy throughout. I was kept well informed before, throughout and after the installation and Mark was very helpful in resolving an issue with the payment for the job caused by me inadvertently making a duplicate payment which was refunded very soon after Mark's intervention. I am very pleased indeed with the new boiler and with Mark and Davie's efforts on the day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Willis-West to anyone considering similar work and I shall continue to involve Mark in the ongoing servicing of the boiler.

On this occasion, there was a fault with the boiler that was not straightforward to diagnose but Mark and his colleague went through the possibilities systematically, identified the issues, advised what was required, gave a price for parts and labour, and as soon as the parts were available, returned to carry out a successful repair with the minimum of fuss. He very carefully considered all the issues in our house and made some great recommendations. He communicated very clearly about how long the work would take and was exactly on schedule. Also, the amount he quoted was the amount he charged. There were no extra costs - he was very straightforward. The new boiler is working great! I was anxious about getting this work done, but Mark is exactly the kind of person you want working in your house. He’s considerate and very motivated to finish the job. He managed everything really well and that made the process much less stressful for me.

I cannot recommend Mark and his team enough. He installed a combi boiler in a new location for us, fixed the gas pipes under the house to make them safe and installed a new shower. He was so reliable, courteous, made a huge effort to keep everything clean, and worked non stop. He's also been on hand to help us after the job finished when our dodgy old radiator pipes started to play up. Thank you Mark!

Mark was recommended to me by a local electrician. He was just leaving for a holiday when I called him to arrange a quote and said he would be in touch as soon as he got back. He was true to his word. He took the time to find the best means of fitting an external tap with minimal disruption to internal and external structures, and serviced my boiler. He was reliable efficient and exceptionally clean and tidy taking on and off overshoes as he came in and out of house. He explained everything as he went along. We had to have our previous boiler replaced in October last year. We’d had a few other quotes, but felt that the quote we received from Willis West was very clear and honest in terms of what we did and didn’t need. Following the quote, the communication was good and Mark managed to fit us in before his holiday. Mark and Kenny were both very polite, taking their shoes off while in the house and making sure to thoroughly clean up as they were working. After the boiler was installed, Mark took time talking me through the controls etc and offered to return in an evening if the radiators needed bled. We’re very happy with the Worcester Bosch boiler, we’ve had no problems in the 5 months or so since it was fitted. We will definitely be having Willis West back again to perform the annual service.

I am very happy with the work carried out by Mark Willis of Willis-West and the excellent customer service provided. He sets his standards high and works hard to achieve these. He is friendly, helpful, punctual, explains things clearly and is keen to know that his customers are happy. What more could be asked for? There were a number of problems, including an old boiler which was "kettling". By clearing out the radiators of sludge, the central heating system is working again. He fitted a filter to help prevent this from happening again. Thank you very much indeed, Mark. I like that he was giving a trainee a positive opportunity to learn, providing him with clear explanations and checking in with him, so that both were confident in the work.
