We live in an unusual building with a great deal of stairs so this was so this was not a straight forward task. Mark was recommended to us by a friend and he thoroughly deserved that referral. He was extremely thorough and when he found an additional problem explained everything and sought approval before continuing. The quality of his work was great and he was friendly. It is really good to enjoy a 'proper' shower now!

Complete replacement of existing en-suite shower room consisting of removal of walls, flooring and ceiling and existing shower cubicle, sink unit etc. Installation of new shower cubicle, vanity unit, radiator, extractor fan and shaver point, together with new wall and floor coverings. In addition, a new toilet was fitted, which had not been part of the existing shower room. The bathroom refurbishment consisted of new flooring and vanity unit, together with 'boxing in' of the existing bath. All work was completed promptly, done to the schedule and was within the agreed budget Mark is friendly, approachable, thorough and professional in everything he does. Nothing is 'too much trouble' - a small example - we sourced our own glass shelves, toilet roll holder etc and these were all fitted as the work was completed. Deservedly, a 5 star rated Which trusted trader.

Noticed water flowing from the loft overflow. Checked the tank in the loft to find the ball cock scaled up. Telephoned Yellow Rose who said they would phone back in 10 minutes. They duly did within the time and said a plumber would be with us within an hour. He turned up on time, drained the tank, fitted a new ball cock, turned everything back on leaving everything working.

Mark (helped by his brother during the main install) promptly visited to quote on changing two toilets and three washbasin taps and the kitchen tap. They came back to do the work on the scheduled day and did a professional job that looks excellent and what is more - unlike plumbers I have had before - left absolutely no mess or dust. Pleasant, professional and to the quote. What more could you ask? The kitchen tap was out of stock and Mark returned to install that as soon as it was available. A couple of minor adjustments were required after the job and he returned without complaint and quickly made the adjustments. His wife in the office has been pleasant and helpful start to finish. We would happily recommend Mark and Yellow Rose Properties.

Mark and his brother Dean stripped the 25 years old bathroom and changed it into a high quality and very pleasing facility. The work was done very well indeed to the agreed amount. The work started at a later date than we anticipated but this was due to a perfectly reasonable setback which was explained satisfactorily. Mark impressed us with his knowledge, experience and skill applicable to this venture. He was helpful in making sure of our wishes and advised us clearly about the best ways to achieve our objectives. His manner was pleasant, respectful and business-like. Mark and Dean were very hard working. They always cleared up at the end of each day and took all the debris away at the end and were careful about recycling which we appreciated. Communication face to face was very good throughout regarding explanation of the work being done. Communication by message or phone call was not quite so good but Mark always got the answer across in the end by his action. He was very helpful in coming back after the completion to fit a blind and pegs on a rack for the door. Overall my wife and I were delighted with the remarkable change in the bathroom for design, craftsmanship and quality. We have no hesitation in recommending Mark for his outstanding work, and we are most grateful to him. Doubtless we shall bring him back for a different project. Our mains control tap under our kitchen sink started running a leak like a tap for the handle when it was on. We had to turn it off so we had no water in ou home. Yellow Rose came at 9 .30am after we called them for help at about 8.05 am today. They replaced the mains control tap and fixed the problem. Thank you for such a fast professional job.

From the minute we met Mark we were impressed with his professionalism and obvious in depth knowledge. The price he quoted was the price he stuck to even though he came across many hidden issues throughout the job. He and Dean turned up on time every day and were a pleasure to have in the house. They were friendly and polite at all times and completely respected our home. We were kept fully informed of progress (discussing with us daily the work done and what would be happening the following day) and any issues as they arose. We were always left reassured that any problems would be and were resolved. The mess was kept to an absolute minimum and at the end of EVERY day they hoovered up and cleared out any rubbish. We are so pleased with our bathroom which feels like one you would expect in a 5star hotel. Above all of that we were very happy with Mark and Dean who always went the extra mile and left us feeling like every penny we spent was well worth it!

We used Mark at Yellow Rose Property to completely gut and the replace the bathroom in our new house. Mark promptly visited, provided a quotation and immediately it was clear he knew what he talking about. The quote was not the cheapest but it was within a couple of hundred pounds of the others we asked. However the way he described the work and the confidence he gave us got him the job. We got a start date and Mark started 1 day late. Throughout the work Mark was here everyday. In the morning we were told what they were aiming to achieve and asked if we had any comments. Mark pointed out it would be easier to resolve issues at that time rather than when finished. Communication was first rate. There were a number of unforeseen 'challenges' that Mark took in his stride and resolved. Where we were uncertain, Mark explained the options and if we asked gave his recommendation, but did not quibble if we decided on a different option. Mark's help enabled us to save considerably on the bathroom fixtures and fittings. Part way through Mark advised us that he had made a small error that it wasnt happy to bodge it up and explained that the following day would be spent undoing some work, fixing the issue and making good. I appreciated the honesty and there is no sign of any issue in the bathroom finish! Best of all we are delighted with our new bathroom, the tiling is great, the shower is stunning and the whole ambience is one of luxury and at the agreed price. Thank you Mark

Needed to have plumbing under kitchen sink sorted as it leaked and was a mess. Mark completely replaced the plumbing under our sink. It is now tidy and does not leak, and we have a lot more room in the cupboard under the sink. The work was carried out efficiently and the kitchen was left tidy afterwards and all the rubbish was removed. Highly recommend Mark.

My elderly father wanted a walk-in shower fitted in place of the existing bath. He found Yellow Rose Properties through Which? and booked Mark to do the work. I live away but spoke to Mark before the work went ahead and trusted him to organise things for Dad. Dad is a mechanical engineer and phoned me regularly to tell me how impressed he was with Mark's workmanship and attention to detail. He was very pleased with the finished result. Any disruption to dad's life was kept to a minimum and the bathroom was left tidy and functional at all times. I arrived after everything was done and was really impressed! Great work and a happy dad. If Mark lived nearer to me, I would happily get him to refit our bathroom too! I have recommended him though to friends that do live locally.

Mark completely replaced our old bathroom including the floor and ceiling including spot lights. He said once he quoted a price it was binding no matter what problems he might come across. True to his word when he discovered rotted floor boards and joists under the bath he replaced them without any cost to us. He is a real perfectionist and takes pride in he's work. We are thrilled with our new bathroom and he is now going to fit a new ceiling with spotlights in our Kitchen and replace our skirting boards in the hallway. He is a pleasure to have about the house, unassuming, polite and reliable. And it was well within our budget. A real gem. Christine

Mark has done quite a lot of varied work for us, from installing tricky chandeliers, mending my boiler to replacing the tap on my leaky sink. Always friendly and does a great job. Definitely recommend.

I had my bathroom overhauled by Mark. Everything came out, (including a bit of wall and floor). I originally had a very dated, leaky bathroom, and I now have a bright, shiny new room. It looks so lovely, I couldn't even have imagined. Mark overcame any problem that came up while doing the work. Very conscientious and tidy. Takes a pride in his work.
