Club Med is a Which? Recommended Provider (WRP), which means that as well as being one of the most highly rated holiday firms in our survey it has also guaranteed to offer a full refund, or free changes, if the Foreign Office (FCDO) changes its advice about your destination.

It has also promised that in 2024 it won’t apply any additional surcharges to holidays that have already been booked.

What's Club Med like?

Club Med provides high-end family holidays full of entertainment. In our family holidays survey, Club Med scored a full five stars in five out of seven categories, including customer service, transport, accommodation and description matching reality. What sets it apart from rivals was its five-star rating for holiday reps in both the family and beach/resort categories, with customers praising the 'friendly staff and welcoming service'.

Club Med isn't the cheapest provider we surveyed, with only a handful of companies showing more expensive short-haul prices than Club Med’s £137 average per person per day. But with that price comes an array of activities for both children and adults to enjoy while in a beautiful setting and, with a four-star value for money rating, customers are pleased with what they received.

It’s clear that Club Med focuses on the family aspect of the family holiday, with designated kids' clubs at many of its resorts catering for everyone from toddlers to teens. One customer commented: 'Overall great holiday, with loads of activities included'. It also offers deals allowing kids under six to stay for no cost at its sun resorts, while children under four stay free of charge on ski holidays.

Club Med also did well in the general beach/resort category, with an above-average score of 78%, but it was in the family holidays category that it really shone, thanks to its 'great facilities’, which readers raved about.

Should I book with Club Med?

Yes, if you’re going on a family holiday. Club Med scored very well across the board and can offer family holidays worthy of being a Which? Recommended Provider.

Only two brands scored higher in a large field of holiday providers, with luxury brand Kuoni beating it by just 2% in its overall customer score.
