Inntravel refund, cancellation and surcharge policy

Inntravel is a Which? Recommended Provider (WRP), meaning that, as well as being one of the most highly rated holiday firms in our survey, it has also guaranteed to offer a full refund, or free changes, if the Foreign Office (FCDO) changes its advice about your destination.

It has also promised that in 2024 it won’t apply any additional surcharges to holidays that have already been booked.

What's Inntravel like?

Inntravel specialises in off-the-beaten-track self-guided holidays, everything from walking in Portugal’s Valley of Gold to cycling in Slovenia. Its attention to detail ensures a slick operation, from the detailed maps and background notes about local history and culture to the seamless luggage transfers along the route. 

Inntravel achieved a very impressive 89% customer score, which reflects the glowing reviews it received from holidaymakers. One described their holidays with Inntravel as ‘some of the highlights of our life’, while another described the service as ‘exceptional’. And many happy customers told us they return again and again to Inntravel for their holidays. 

Inntravel was the only self-guided tour operator to receive five stars for its customer service. Those who used it found the staff to be ‘very helpful and knowledgeable’ providing them with ‘a wealth of detail on the holiday’. 

It received another five-star rating for organisation. One customer described the organisational skills and route notes as ‘first class’. 

Inntravel received solid four-star ratings for value for money, accommodation and description matching reality. Customers were impressed by the ‘lovely choice of hotels in fascinating places’.
