What's Jet2Holidays like?

Jet2Holidays competes with Tui to whisk holidaymakers to their favourite fly-and-flop resorts, but there’s no contest as to who customers prefer. In our beach/resort holidays survey, Jet2Holidays scored a full five stars in six out of seven categories, and outperformed Tui in five of them: the organisation of the holiday, transport, customer service, holiday reps and value for money. It sits at the top of our table for beach resort trips, with its excellent customer score only matched by pricey luxury brand Kuoni.

Jet2Holidays’ inexpensive breaks matched customers’ expectations, and the company scored five stars out of five for value for money. Several customers were pleased there were no hidden extras, and no added fees on top for hold luggage. Other travellers mentioned their supportive problem solving, saying they were ‘extremely helpful in finding a solution’ when faced with issues regarding Covid forms.

And its all-inclusive breaks are just that - our survey found copious food and drink is almost always included, with restrictions on consumption the lowest of any brand. Its all-inclusive facilities are great too: 'they only work with hotels that offer the best services' said one customer.

Jet2Holidays also excels in other types of trips, including city breaks,  family holidays and solo holidays. One customer told us they were impressed with Jet2’s 'good all inclusive options and kids activities', helped by the useful layout of their family holidays page, which breaks down trips by age group and guides you towards family friendly hotels.

Another commented on its ‘first class customer service’. This is particularly impressive given Jet2Holidays has grown to be one of the UK’s biggest providers (Tui is the biggest, but only just - both take more than 5 million holidaymakers away each year). With its equally popular airline (also a WRP) it’s shown that it can be successful without cutting corners on customer service.

Perhaps it owes its success to being one of the very few holiday firms to look after its customers - refunding promptly - during the worst of the pandemic, when the whole industry was losing a fortune.

Should I book with Jet2Holidays?

Absolutely. Jet2Holidays has proven itself to be a leader of the pack for customer service and inexpensive quality holidays, and it promises not to apply surcharges in 2024, no matter how much its own costs rise. It was only beaten twice in all of the holiday types it offers, and even then only by 1%. It is clear to see Jet2Holidays has collected such a loyal customer base.
