Sunvil is a family-run, independent tour operator that made its name selling Greece and Cyprus holidays. It now sells tailor-made beach and villa-based holidays, as well as city breaks and island-hopping trips all over the world, focusing on lesser-known destinations.

Sunvil refund, cancellation and surcharge policy

Sunvil is a Which? Recommended Provider (WRP) which means that as well as being one of the most highly rated holiday firms in our survey it has also guaranteed to offer a full refund, or free changes, if the Foreign Office (FCDO) changes its advice about your destination.

It has also promised that in 2024 it won’t apply any additional surcharges to holidays that have already been booked.

What's Sunvil like?

Sunvil sells beach and active holidays, as well as some city breaks. 2024 will see Sunvil's largest portfolio ever to Greece, featuring 61 of the Greek islands plus the mainland. It is also launching a holiday programme to Catalonia and has recently added Cuba to its Latin America programme.

It prides itself on being fiercely independent, and providing great customer satisfaction. Our survey bears this out with an impressive 83% customer score that was only beaten by Audley Travel in the smaller/independent holiday providers category.

Readers are particularly impressed by its accommodation, organisation and customer service – all rated four stars. It says its aim is to introduce guests to the ‘real country’, favouring lesser-known destinations where travellers stay among the locals.
