Over 20 years of excellence
Founded in 2002, Easystep has gone from strength to strength, and been a Which? Trusted Trader for 10 years.
Previously, Mark had worked in the industry with fellow managing director, Mark Ford, and the pair felt they could do things better.
Easystep won Which? Trusted Trader of the Month in November 2022 and June 2021, yet the company has continued to improve: ‘Since our last award we’ve streamlined our ordering processes so it's easier for our users. We’ve moved a lot of needless paperwork to digital format. This speeds things up but also gives our customers more time to digest all the information. Having the Which? Trusted Trader awards to our name means our users know without any doubt that we are an honest and trustworthy company.’
The business and the team have grown over time, expanding to operate throughout most of England and Wales.
All reviewers would recommend
Easystep Stairlifts has maintained a perfect record of being recommended by 100% of customers since becoming a Which? Trusted Trader back in 2014. The company scores 5 out of 5 for customer service and quality, alongside a 4.9 rating for value.
Mark said: ‘The service we deliver gives us amazing job satisfaction and almost every customer compliments us on our outstanding reviews.’
A recent reviewer from September 2024 said: ‘As a retired health professional I would highly recommend this company. I thoroughly researched the stairlift options. This company offered the best value for money. The assessment process meant we had it installed within a few days. All advice, support and information was clear. Yearly maintenance was kept up to date and removal was suited to my convenience. The stairlift was easy to use, compact, comfortable and swivel transfer made it easy for my elderly disabled mother to use independently. Sally, the company admin, was friendly, supportive and always returned calls promptly.’
Easystep Stairlifts also takes the time to reply to every review left on their Which? Trusted Trader page, which helps develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Thoughtful innovations and charity work
Easystep Stairlift runs The E-Zee Smiles Project to raise money for community and volunteering initiatives in the local community. The company also sponsors local sports team, Newtown Linford Cricket Club.
The judges were impressed by these charitable efforts, and attempts to make life easier for customers.
One of the judging panel said: ‘I love reading about Easystep Stairlifts' understanding nature in regards to always being available for customer calls (whatever time of day), keeping rates affordable and getting involved in varied charity work. The catchphrase of E-Zee smiles works really well and it was lovely to read about how they're helping potentially less fortunate kids have a bit of fun. I like that they let their customers inform the way they operate and work to reduce consumer detriment. It's great they've simplified their review feedback form and given customers a callout card to pop in their wallet, if they need them.’
Which? Trusted Trader endorsement means instant recognition
To anyone considering joining the scheme, Mark says: ‘Do it! To be recognised by an institution like Which? is outstanding. The Which? name and logo is instantly recognised for honesty and integrity.’
He adds that Easystep joined the scheme ‘to further enhance our reputation by being aligned to an unrivalled brand and scheme like Which? Trusted Traders.’
The company uses the Which? Trusted Trader logos to reinforce this message: ‘They are now proudly displayed on every facet of our business. Not just workwear and paperwork but on stickers, magnets and business cards. We’ve also incorporated the Which? Trusted Traders logo on our new mascot E-Zee. This instantly recognisable character has been a colourful and playful way of promoting the Which? TT brand. This also crosses the gap into our charitable endeavours, The E-Zee Smiles Project.’
Congratulations to Easystep Stairlifts for winning October 2024’s Which? Trusted Trader of the Month award.
