Selected for their superb brand advocacy on social media, Electricians in Reading are the Which? Trusted trader of the month for March 2016.  Taking pride of place on their company vehicles, Electricians in Reading shared their handywork with us on Twitter, and our judging panel were suitably impressed with the professionalism of their vehicle signage.

As one of our very first Which? Trusted Traders, company director Christopher Gordon explains what attracted them to the endorsement scheme back in 2013: “When I first started my business I wanted to give my customers reassurance that I am a trustworthy trader, that can be relied upon to do the work requested. I also wanted to give my customers the knowledge that if in the unlikely event they were not satisfied with my work, they would have someone to go to who could help. When I was looking for ideas, I spotted Which? Trusted Traders and, as the public already trust Which?; What better way could I display my business credentials than to be endorsed by one of the nations most trusted brands.

Trusted Traders brand, recognising that they can stand out from their competitors as a trustworthy business via their endorsement. Christopher explains: “I use the logo everywhere I can, its on all the vans, website, stationary and uniforms (even our mouse mat & clock!).  I think it’s important to show that we are endorsed by Which? Trusted Traders, as it makes us stand out from others, and gives faith to new customers when they see a fully sign written van pull up at their house, with the logo on it. That way they know we are being as open and as honest as we can be. It’s also great for marketing as it makes our vans very recognisable.”

Christopher also explains how their endorsement has helped inspire further confidence with their customers: "My customers are always very positive about me being endorsed by Which? Trusted Traders. It gives them the confidence to use me and when I have asked customers they say they chose to use me as I was endorsed by Which? and they can trust the reviews I’ve had are genuine. Overall, being endorsed by Which? is one of the best business decisions I ever made. It has helped me progress and expand and strive for excellence so my customers leave reviews in-turn, giving more faith to new potential customers who read them and decide to use us."
