2016 Which? Trusted Trader of the Year
Which? Trusted Traders are delighted to announce that Electricians in Reading have been chosen as the Which? Trusted Trader of the Year 2016.
The award was presented to Chris Gordon of Electricians in Reading at the Which? Awards in London today. The ceremony celebrated 10 years of the Awards and was hosted by Natasha Kaplinsky, who called Which? Trusted Trader of the Year 'possibly my favourite category'. Electricians in Reading faced tough competition from the other nominees 2RED Ltd, Day and Knight Ltd and Hillis Security Systems Ltd.
Peter Vicary-Smith, Which?'s Chief-Executive said that Electricians in Reading impressed the judges with '...their personal touch, taking time to respond to every customer. One customer described Electricians in Reading as ‘efficient, highly competent and faultlessly professional'.'
Emotional response
On accepting the award Chris Gordon of Electricians in Reading said that he hadn't planned a speech but gave an emotional thank you to his employees that was enthusiastically received by the audience and the hosts. His unplanned speech managed to move Natasha Kaplinsky to tears.
