We have used first call gas for many years for boiler and gas fire servicing. We have always found them very reliable, friendly, down to earth and helpful, e.g. phoning through to the boiler company on our behalf over a warranty issue. They efficiently contact us every year, with no pressure.

As always with 1st call, excellent service. From initial call to survey to completion of the job and invoicing. Although this was a small job relatively speaking it wasn't an easy one. The engineer called prior to arrival and completed the job in the estimates timeframe. Very highly recommended

Excellent service from 1st call. I had a call back in response to my message within about an hour and a gas engineer was despatched shortly after. Kyle diagnosed the problem, gave very helpful advice and fixed the issue within an hour. Very impressive service. Thank you

Thank you so much for your help. David came out to fix our boiler because the water was lukewarm. He called before he arrived, was on time, really friendly and helpful. He quickly worked out what the problem was, got the part from the van and fitted it. It was an excellent service and I would definitely recommend the company to others. Thanks a million.

Fault on boiler and annual service

Excellent customer service, when I telephoned to explain that the pressure had gone, they managed to fit me in the next day. The engineer got the boiler back to pressure but new parts were needed, all this was explained and an appointment made for the following week as the parts had to be ordered. The engineer turned up at the allotted time on both occasions, telephoning beforehand to make let me know where he was and how long he was going to be. He explained what he needed to do to get the boiler fixed (and to complete my annual service), in language I could understand! The office then telephoned to confirm the price and that I wanted the work doing by them, they then made an appointment. It was all very easy and efficient and the staff were all helpful and clear in everything they did.

I’ve used 1st Call Gas Services since they renewed my Ideal boiler and once again their service matches their name “1st” class. Their engineer was on time and explained what he was doing and the outcome of the service. Their charges are more than reasonable and I have the confidence that my central heating system is in perfect running order.

I have used First Call since 2018 for the annual service of my gas boiler, I have been reassured by their excellent service and reasonable costs. Setting up the appointments at a time convenient for me was easy by phone or text, efficient office staff, confirmation by email. The gas engineers were always punctual, efficient, knowledgeable, polite. What I really appreciate is that the engineer explains to me what they're doing, how things work, what problems might be; they are good communicators willing to answer questions. A reminder for when the service is due is sent, but no annoying badgering. I am 100 % satisfied with First Call and will definitely continue to use them for service and repairs. (I do not usually complete satisfaction surveys, but this company deserves it.)
