1st Call Gas Services Limited

I recently had Solar Panels and a battery storage system installed by 1st Call Renewables in Sheffield. Joe was helpful from the start. During his site visit he explained where the Batteries and Inverter would fit and the probable route the wires would take from the Panels to the Batteries. The installation included 16 Jinko 455W solar panels, an EcoFlow 5kW inverter and 9.6kWh of battery storage. The whole system was installed neatly and professionally, with the cabling carefully routed through the loft and garage. All the Tradesmen that came to the house were very polite. They arrived on time on the day that had been agreed. They were also happy to answer my questions, including an observation I had after the installation. I realized there was room for two more panels. I paid for these and they were added to the string the next day. As part of going Solar we had an Induction Hob fitted. The Electrician, Oliver, worked out a neat solution for getting the Hard Wiring back to the Consumer Unit. The Solar Panel Installation has now been running for nearly four weeks. The App supplied is informative and you can check any time to see how the system is performing. The Panels generate enough power to run the house with power left to export to the grid. Overall, I am pleased with both the quality of the installation and the service I received from 1st Call Renewables. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone considering having solar panels and battery storage

The engineer has attended for the past 3 years. He is prompt, polite, efficient and informative. No complaints. Always 10/10.

We have used 1st call gas for 13 years and everything they have done has been first class. All the plumbers/gas fitters have done excellent work, they arrive on time, do a good job, they are always polite and clean up afterwards. We recently had Kile and he was outstanding. He was exceedingly conscientious, checking and ensuring everything was done correctly. There were 3 separate jobs, the last being to balance the radiators over the 4 levels in our house. He managed what I failed to do even with YouTube videos and what another tradesman failed twice to rectify. Kile was very knowledgeable and clearly explained the problems and how he was sorting the various radiators. A most pleasant and personable person. I have no hesitation in recommending 1st call gas.

Over the years I have had excellent service from this Company. The engineer has carried out gas safety checks on my boiler for the last 3 years and he has told me when a part needs replacing, I have had no faults between services.

David contacted us to make sure the time was convenient for us. He arrived at the agreed time and was quickly hard at work. He was as always very pleasant and professional and explained what was doing, His honesty is beyond question while servicing our boiler he stood up and showed us what had seen on the floor. A £20 note!! We had no idea it was there. Thank you to him so much.. His work completed he tidied and clean up and left us feeling good job well done with above and beyond professionalism An absolute credit to your company He will always be welcome at our house

It was a 2 day job (gas and plumbing). They turned up on time and got cracking with the work. Nice job done, and easy guys to get on with.

Our Combi boiler needed replacing urgently, as the diaphragm had burst and the boiler was condemned. We were recommended 1st Call Gas Services and gave them a call to se if they could come and give us a quote. As soon as I mentioned the urgency of the job an appointment was booked for the same morning. We also got quotes from other Companies but decided to go with 1st Call Gas Services as they gave us numerous options for the boiler and different warranty options too. On the morning of the installation Darrell and Theo arrived promptly, were extremely polite and friendly. They explained what they would need to do . They then just got on with the job. Once the installation was complete, Darrell gave a demonstration as to how the boiler worked and let us ask questions . Before they left they tidied up and disposed of the old boiler and associated pipework.

1st Call Gas Services have been an excellent company to deal with. When booking my annual service they are always polite and arrange a time to suit me,always telling the name of who to expect and time window. I got a call 15 mins before he arrived and he even left his shoes on the step. Very efficient and thorough, always polite. I would'nt hesitate to recommend them.

We rang up because we had an intermittent fault with the thermostat and an appointment was made for the next day. The engineer arrived on time and was very friendly. He gave us all the options and no pressure was made to update and spend money on a new thermostat. He said we had been very unlucky that the previous one had started to fail, but we decided to get a new one rather than keep having to call out. We have used this company for several years and would highly recommend them.
