I have used 1st Call for years and they are consistently good. The engineers are on time, knowledgeable and efficient. We had an annual boiler service during which the engineer spotted a hairline crack on one of the parts and advised me to ring the manufacturer to get it replaced under warranty. Very satisfied again with the service provided and would not hesitate to recommend.

Fast and efficient
1st call gas refitted all the radiators in my entire house in a really fast and efficient way, they cleaned everything up nicely, only the marks on the wallpaper where radiators were removed indicated they had ever been there! They gave great advice on correct size and positioning of the new radiators. It all looks fab. Very satisfied.

Very professional
The engineer rang earlier on the day, due to an appointment cancellation that morning. Asked if he could come that morning instead of after midday, to do my yearly boiler service. After a quick chat and a couple of phone calls, I rang and said he could come sooner. Arrived around 20mins later. Everything was sorted and he was on his way. Gave me the rest of the day to do what I wanted. Highly recommend this company to anyone. Good friendly service from the team arranging the appointments in the office, to the team attending to complete the call out. Certainly give them 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First Class as usual.
After deterioration, due to expected wear and tear, my Ideal boiler's external flue terminal guard needed replacing. This was attended to by an Ideal Gas Service's engineer almost immediately, with no problems, in the firm's usual friendly and expert manner. Communication is always perfect.

My second time using 1st Call Gas and once again I am pleased with their service. Quick to respond to calls, and no long wait for an appointment. The engineer replaced the heating controller and explained its features, and the charges were as quoted and reasonable. I have already recommended them to another family member who is also very happy with thier services.

Our boiler and central heating system have been on annual contract with 1stCall since shortly after we moved to this address. The technicians have always arrived in the scheduled time window and are thoughtful and polite as well as competent. On this occasion the job went on slightly longer than usual but that was down to an error on my part, having forgotten to book a routine service last Summer. I had booked this at only a few days' notice so I was pleased that they were able to schedule the work. As luck has it one of the company's technicians was taken ill, which rather messed up their scheduling but I still got a call the day before offering a later time slot (which I took) or another day. Servicing complete and certificte issued giving a clean bll of health, so I'm happy!

1st Call Services Ltd, installed and commissioned boiler under ECO4 Government Scheme for my Father & Mother in Law. Company agreed to install specific boiler at agreed additional cost. Company called in advance to confirm when Engineer & Electrician would be arriving they also provided name of both the Engineer & Electrician which shows great customer service. Engineer & Electrician arrived at the agreed time an completed the work they were scheduled to completed. Good communications throughout whole engagement and invoice issued promptly after works completed.

remove hot water cylinder & tank, altered pipework electrician disconnected & made safe existing heating controls, wired up Honeywell controls
work was finished in 1 day and to budget as agreed. heating engineers and electrician arrived on time, and knew exactly what was required. All were helpful, tidy and polite. Everything was fully checked and new controls were fully explained. Later the same day a hot water mixer tap would not turn off, probably due to the increased water pressure, I rang their emergency number and was given instructions to isolate the tap. The next day a plumber arrived and quickly fitted a new mixer tap. I can recommend this company.

I have also used them for emergency call-outs to repair faulty boilers in the past. Again they were responsive and able to attend to an issue promptly. The usual excellent service
We've used 1st Call Gas Services for a number of upgrades to our CH system and they have always been excellent. This was a call to carry out a routine boiler service and replace a faulty pressure switch and was carried out quickly and efficiently. Arranging a visit was uncomplicated and the service call was arranged early in the same week.The engineer was thorough, tidy and courteous and we would not hesitate recommending this company for any issues with gas systems.

First experience, no problems, easier than expected.
My first interaction with a gas boiler service, having recently bought a property and receiving a letter in the post from 1st call to remind me that the next service was due (the service log did confirm it had been installed and subsequently annually serviced late Feb each year by this same company). I phoned up, and was able to schedule an appointment in the next week with great flexibility to meet my work schedule. I did later need to rearrange that and it was no problem (there was a slight mistake with the scheduling on their part, but it was quickly resolved). The engineer arrived on time, fully stripped and cleaned the boiler and performed some additional checks (the roof from outdoors and via the attic) and also answered a few questions that I had. Only, minor, complaint was that the engineer emptied something cleaned out of the boiler into the bathroom sink (black dust and dead wasps). They forgot to wash it down the sink, so I had to do that myself after they'd left.
