1st Call Services is a family owned business with over 20 years experience in the industry. We regard ourselves as being large enough to trust but small enough to care. We serve Essex and surrounding area.
Our core business is in the installation of Boilers and Central Heating Systems. We are proud to be accredited installers for Worcester Bosch Boilers (rated No.1 by Which? for the last 10 years). In 2023 we installed 173 Worcester Bosch boilers. The majority of our customers are private home owners.
Our commitment is to provide all of our customers with a high level of service, whilst providing the best and most efficient solution for their needs, home, budget and the environment.

Had a replacement boiler which also needed re-siting along with an extra radiator. Dave, Scott and their apprentice were fantastic. No time wasting. Clean workers, excellent communication to achieve best possible outcome for the re-siting and pipework for new radiator. Miles cheaper than British Gas. Thank you I Love my warm home.

Having been pleased with the modifications to my heating system made by 1st Call in April, I got them in again when the boiler was due for a service. They found that the condensate trap had over an inch of sediment in it which they cleaned out. It had obviously never been cleaned in any of the previous services by other companies. I will be using 1st Call again for next year's service.

I bought a house that had the boiler in the master bedroom with a rather noisy condensate pump. 1st Call were able to find a different route for the condensate pipe that would allow it to drain by gravity and do away with the pump. At the same time I got them to install a new radiator and change the bathroom radiator to a heated towel rail. The towel rail turned out to be a lot trickier than expected as the bathroom is connected to the system using an unusual "one-pipe" layout. It took three attempts to come up with a working pipe layout, but 1st Call did not charge extra, and were happy to demonstrate that there was good flow through the towel rail when I queried whether it might itself be the cause of the problems. David even took the trouble to draw me a diagram showing the difference between one-pipe and two-pipe systems. I will definitely be using 1st Call again.

After being let down by my usual boiler man I found it difficult to find a reputable company. We found David at 1st Call to be very helpful, discussing options with me and ways to keep the quote down. We are really pleased with the installation. Nice guys and did a good job, working long hours. My advice to anyone needing a new boiler in is to not waste your time trying to get quotes like I did and just give David a call.
