1st Call Services is a family owned business with over 20 years experience in the industry. We regard ourselves as being large enough to trust but small enough to care. We serve Essex and surrounding area.
Our core business is in the installation of Boilers and Central Heating Systems. We are proud to be accredited installers for Worcester Bosch Boilers (rated No.1 by Which? for the last 10 years). In 2023 we installed 173 Worcester Bosch boilers. The majority of our customers are private home owners.
Our commitment is to provide all of our customers with a high level of service, whilst providing the best and most efficient solution for their needs, home, budget and the environment.

David & his team made a fantastic job of replacing our central heating system with a new Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30i combination boiler together with replacing 10 radiators and removing the cold water and hot water tanks. Arrived at agreed time each day and laid protective ground sheets in the work areas to ensure a tidy job whilst doing the installation & commissioning. They also tidied up and hoovered the work areas each night before leaving. David discussed our needs during the estimate visit and gave helpful input to offer a better solution with a competitive price. David leads an experienced work team who were hardworking, quietly efficient and provide a great central heating service. I would have no hesitation to highly recommend 1st Call Services to other Which readers.

Based on reviews in Which? Local and the competitive quote provided, I employed 1st Call (David Ryther) to replace the 25 - 30 year old (finally dead) boiler in my bungalow. Due to a change in regulations this involved re-siting the boiler from the kitchen to the garage and running pipes around the loft to connect to the central heating and hot water cylinder. The rain on the day was torrential so the 1st Call team were pretty wet from moving from house to garage and installing the external flue. They did a great job, started and finished in one day, and remained cheerful throughout despite their soaking. Nearly 3 months on and the Worcester Bosch boiler is working well and (fingers crossed!) all the pipework is sound and leak free. I have no hesitation in recommending 1st Call.
