1st Call Southwest Locksmiths

Dean replaced a faulty lock on our front door. What was outstanding about Dean was his excellent communication from start to finish. Dean was flexible in rearranging our appointment to suit us. He identified the problem quickly and replaced the faulty part. Dean has a friendly approach and we would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I was new to area, needed a Locksmith and was given a couple of possible names - phoned Dean, he responded promptly and agreed to come next day. He messaged me next day to confirm ETA - he was prompt, efficient and courteous. He wasn’t able to fully resolve primary problem as he needed to order new locking mechanism - but he ensured that door could be opened and securely locked. I was travelling between two properties at the time, he accommodated the dates with me to fit in with my timetable. He arrived promptly today, preceded by an early morning call confirming ETA. He completed all works. In essence he made 3 visits and didn’t ask for any monies until all worked completed and tested today. A great Tradesperson to rekindle confidence in the many fantastic skilled people. Thank you Dean

Telephoned the Locksmith and was able to speak straightaway and he phoned back later to get all the details of the problem. Arrange to come two days later, phoned to let me know he was on his way and fitted a new lock and checked and lubricated all my doors and locks at the same time. He didn't leave until I was completely satisfied with his work. He went out of his way to give very helpful advice on a number of potential problems. He was polite and courteous and I thought that he went the extra 'Mile' Just made sure that I was satisfied.

We have used Dean twice now, once to sort out a dodgy front door lock and once to replace the hinges on a pvc window that would no longer close. Fast same or next day service, reasonably priced, no fuss , no stress, just the job, 5 stars from us 🤩

We needed a new front door lock. Dean selected an ideal replacement, and fitted it quickly at the appointed time, and at a fair cost. We have no hesitation in recommending 1st Call South West Locksmiths.

We have used Dean in the past to repair door handles at both our house and at our daughter’s house. This time he has replaced three door handles completely which he did in his usual efficient way. Highly recommended.

Had a malfunctioning door lock on a uPVC door. Rang Dean in the afternoon, he came the following morning, quickly identified fault, ordered part and fitted it the next day. Fast efficient and friendly tradesperson.

I was impressed by Dean‘s efficiency and overall quality of his work. He made two visits: the 1st to fit a temporary lock while he sourced the non-standard replacement. Within a week he returned to complete the work. Many thanks, Dean, for your friendly and professional service. I will certainly contact you again if I need a locksmith.

Arrived at stated time. Friendly and efficient service. Replacement of 3 mortise door latches plus sorted faulty lock on bathroom door. Highly recommend

Dean did a great job, fixed 3 faulty locks. Very easy to deal with, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Completed the work quickly and efficiently, no mess left. Explained costs involved before commencing work. Friendly and approachable. Highly recommend Dean. Thank you again

Dean arrived within a few hours of my phone call. He had to order a new door handle and fittings (mine is an Edwardian house, with original doors) and came back within a few days to fit them. He was very helpful, did a good job and I was very pleased. I have used his services before and I was very pleased then as well.

I discovered my kitchen window hinge was broken last night. Called Dean this morning, and he was able to come to sort out the problem in the afternoon. Very professional and efficient service, and I would definitely recommend 1st Call Southwest Locksmiths.

Dean did a really good job replacing some hinges on a couple of windows that didn't close properly. He also fixed a window that wouldn't open. He worked very professionally and protected the flooring from footprints by covering it. He spent the time to talk me through what he was doing. While he was here he noticed out front door wasn't shutting properly so quickly had a look at it and fixed it. I would definitely recommend him in the future and also use him again.
