Everyone at 1st Roofing was very courteous and professional. The work (new soffit and fascias) was neat and of a very good standard and I am very pleased with it. No deposit was required and the men were very hard working and efficient. I would definitely use 1st Roofing again.

1st Roofing Specialists replaced bargeboards and verge tiles on two gable ends. Jim took the trouble to visit before the work commenced to determine the best match of roof tile to use for the remedial work and they blend in very well following completion of the work. When the first bargeboard was removed, Jim was quick to explain that the roof batten ends were rotten and would also need to be replaced, as an addition to the original quote. He was very honest and reasonable with the scope of the additional work required and the cost. The two lads worked tirelessly to complete the work in two very long days and the quality and pride they took in their work was refreshing. I will be certain to use 1st Roofing Direct for any future roofing needs and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Removal of small chimney stack - they were always punctual and courteous. The job was done as scheduled with no mess and they spotted and replaced an additional missing tile from a different area, all within the original cost. I would recommend them and happily use them again.

Following my telephone call to 1st Roofing to book an appointment, Jim arrived at the arranged time to look at the work requested. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of roofing, explaining what the problem was likely to be and the procedure to fix the problems. A quotation was received, we accepted and booked a date for the work. All went smoothly, scaffolding arrived on time whilst work was taking place on another area only accessible by ladder. The work was carried out by Jim and his Son, very professionally and to a high standard. The site was left clean and tidy on completion, I would definitely recommend their services.

The team were excellent, did the job to the highest standards, kept me informed during the work and the results were better than we expected. Friendly, professional and left the site cleaner than when they arrived. Could not recommend them higher.

They were speedy and efficient and very helpful finding a replacement roof tile to match our broken one, and then even moved tiles so that the replacement was not noticeable. Checked we were happy at the end. Very pleased and will use again.

Apart from replacing a rotten fascia board and refixing the guttering, Jim's team cleaned all the house’s gutters and fixed several instances of poor pointing. All was done to a high standard. The quote was detailed and accurate and the price fair. Will definitely use again.

We initially arranged for 1st Roofing Specialists to replace the guttering whilst we had a scaffold in place for the re-rendering of our house, however during the rendering works we encountered a number of issues with the original lead flashings and soakers, which Jim and the team were able to resolve at short notice, co-ordinating the works with the rendering contractor. The process from the initial contact, site visit, quotation and booking in the works was seamless, with the works carried out to a high standard. We would have no hesitation in recommending 1st Roofing Specialists.

Jim and his team had completed another job for us recently, and had spotted that the felt on our flat roof was in a state of disrepair and not properly fitted. They replaced it for new felt and ensured it was properly sealed. A perfect job completed in timely fashion.

Jim and his team arrived punctually and carried out the work very efficiently: repointing tiles, clearing out the guttering, and fixing new soffit boards. The work was completed in good time and everything tidied up afterwards. Highly recommended.

Slipped ridge tile also removed next one and reset both. While they were here also solved a small gutter leak.

This is the holy grail that we are searching for, and Jim and his team have delivered this to me every time they have worked on my house (this is the 3rd time in 6 years - helping me to improve and maintain an old house).

Have used Jim for many years, he is reliable and will offer you good advice. I just needed my gutters cleared this time but they also reconnected a part of the gutter that had come adrift in the wind. I also had a tile that had slipped in the gutter between our two adjoining houses and Jim advised me on what to do.

They arrived within the advised timeslot, were polite, got on with repointing and reflaunching the chimney stack and cleared the debris from the conservatory roof afterwards. They returned as expected two days later to fit the chimney caps when the cement had set. As far as I can see from the ground it looks as if they did a good job.

We highly recommend 1st Roofing Specialists who we have used for over 5 years. Sally & Jim are always quick to come out and provide a quotation and arrange a suitable date for the work to be carried out. Shawn and Charlie came last week, they are always pleasant and neat in the work carried out. We've had different work done over the years. My mother has used them after heavy storms as well as friends & family. I will not recommend a service unless I'm confident in a company but these guys are definitely on my Tradesman contact list and highly recommend.

Excellent service from all the team including the lady in the office. Our flat roof was satisfactorily refurbished and they checked all our ridge and hip tiles and carried out necessary work. They turned up on time, were very polite and kept us informed along each step of the work. They provided what we consider to be excellent advice at a reasonable cost. They also kept to the estimate.

Having used this company before, I chose them to come a sort out a leak in my roof. My request was quickly responded to and Jim called to assess the problem and what needed doing. A follow-up visit was arranged for today, and two employees came, within the agreed time slot and quickly started to address the work . This was quickly completed and the area left clean and tidy. The two young men were very polite.

The team did a fantastic job and worked quickly a tidily, all work was carried out on the agreed schedule and when there was a minor issue, they came back promptly and took care of it. We are super happy with the finished new guttering and facias - and our new water butt is working nicely!
