Approx 12 years ago Jim quoted among three other companies for repairing roof tiles that had slipped. He advised that he could repair the lovely tiles and they had possibly another 10 years of life. Two other companies told me I needed a new roof immediately. 12 years on my roof needed replacing. The timbers under the tiles were completely rotten and had to be removed. He bought tiles round for me to okay and matched them very well with my neighbours roof . The quote was very competitive and all inclusive. There were no extras or add-ons afterwards. He answered all my questions with great detail and made sure I was happy with everything they were going to do. They arrived on the day agreed very organised They worked in all weathers, arrived at first light (respectfully quietly) andleft when it got dark. They were careful with garden and made sure that nothing was damaged. First class job. I would definitely recommend Jim and his company. The Office too was very pleasant and informed on every part of the job.

They came to my house to replace one tile to the rear of the roof. The owner and his son were polite and were happy to be of service. They came a day early because of the weather conditions recognising also perhaps that it was a very small job. They came along with a matching clay tile and fitted it at a very reasonable price. Fantastic!

Everyone at 1st Roofing was very courteous and professional. The work (new soffit and fascias) was neat and of a very good standard and I am very pleased with it. No deposit was required and the men were very hard working and efficient. I would definitely use 1st Roofing again.

1st Roofing Specialists replaced bargeboards and verge tiles on two gable ends. Jim took the trouble to visit before the work commenced to determine the best match of roof tile to use for the remedial work and they blend in very well following completion of the work. When the first bargeboard was removed, Jim was quick to explain that the roof batten ends were rotten and would also need to be replaced, as an addition to the original quote. He was very honest and reasonable with the scope of the additional work required and the cost. The two lads worked tirelessly to complete the work in two very long days and the quality and pride they took in their work was refreshing. I will be certain to use 1st Roofing Direct for any future roofing needs and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Removal of small chimney stack - they were always punctual and courteous. The job was done as scheduled with no mess and they spotted and replaced an additional missing tile from a different area, all within the original cost. I would recommend them and happily use them again.

Following my telephone call to 1st Roofing to book an appointment, Jim arrived at the arranged time to look at the work requested. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of roofing, explaining what the problem was likely to be and the procedure to fix the problems. A quotation was received, we accepted and booked a date for the work. All went smoothly, scaffolding arrived on time whilst work was taking place on another area only accessible by ladder. The work was carried out by Jim and his Son, very professionally and to a high standard. The site was left clean and tidy on completion, I would definitely recommend their services.
