I called 1st Roofing Specialists to get a quote to repair a leaking roof and lift and rebed hip tiles on a number of ridges. They were engaged when I rang but saw the missed call and called me back within a couple of minutes. The lady on the phone was extremely pleasant and efficient and arranged for someone to visit within 2 days to quote. The person turned up exactly on time and was clearly very knowledgeable. I got a quote by 1st class mail a few days later. The price was competitive so I went ahead. The "boys" turned up on time and got on with the job (no stopping for endless cups of tea/ mobile phone calls etc). The quality of work was excellent and they spent time cleaning around the house. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend 1st Roofing Specialists Ltd.

Very pleased with the work that was done and with how quickly and efficiently they handled the whole process from when I first contacted them through to the job being completed.

We hired 1st to overhaul our roof, clear gutters and repair a chimney flashing which had been leaking in a minor way for some years but was never bad enough to action. I cannot fault them throughout. Their scaffolder was polite and prompt. They were polite, prompt, communicated well and offered the chance to inspect the work before they left even setting up a ladder so I could see the chimney work. Very impressed. Will use again without hesitation.

Fixed a three metre length of flashing to our conservatory roof to take water into the guttering. A very small job, which they were happy to do promptly, politely and cleanly. Very reliable.

Jim was recommended to me. He arrived on time for our appointment, made his recommendations and checked I was happy with the proposals. After I accepted his quote, the work was carried out with the minimum of fuss - some roof tiles replaced, lead valleys and gutters cleaned. I have already booked him in for another job.
