Underfloor heating is great … if it’s installed correctly and serviced annually. If not, prepare for frustration. The great news was that Adam came to our rescue … and it feels like we’ve got the system back ‘as new’. He was comprehensive with his inspection, gave us full confidence he’d sort it and was detailed and competitive with his quote too - with options for upgrades if we wanted. A prompt turnaround and a professional job later … all done. Sorted! What makes it more rewarding is that Adam is a truly genuine family man who just doesn’t want to let anyone down. We contacted A.D.S Plumbing & Heating when our oil boiler started leaking over a bank holiday weekend. Adam, the owner, was one of the few companies that returned our call and check if we needed help. From start to finish communication has been excellent and all the work required assessed and explained in detail and in a very personable manner. Adam replaced our combi boiler, with the work completed to a very high standard. Before this, he had fixed our ailing 20 year old existing boiler with only a couple of hours notice after our adult children informed us that it had failed while we were away on holiday, of course! We found Adam on the Which? Trusted Trader List and, on the basis of the reviews, gave him a call while we sat in a cafe in the rain. He took it from there, problem solved. Having been very pleased with this work we asked Adam to quote to replace the boiler with a modern, efficient alternative as we had already decided the job needed doing but were putting it off. He was able to supply and fit the model we wanted the very next day. He did a very neat job, completed it the same day, and the new system is a big improvement on the old. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. Very good communication throughout and great service in all respects.

Adam and his team did a great job replacing our entire, old heating system with a brand new one. Adam was quick to come round, was friendly and seemed knowledgeable about what needed doing. He gave us a competitive quote shortly afterwards and then managed to fit us in very quickly. They got on with the work efficiently, moving furniture as needed but always replacing it and leaving rooms tidy. The work was completed on time and as per the original quote. We did have a problem after we thought the work was complete but Adam came round very quickly and fixed it.

The boiler at my Mum's house in Combe Down broke down on 16th Dec, perfect timing as we have family planning to stay for Christmas. Here we are on 18th Dec, with a brand spanking new Worcester Bosch 8000 fully fitted and house nice and toasty again less than 2 days later! Adam returned my call after hours on Friday evening and couldn't have been more helpful from start to finish. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and was a very neat job. Nothing was too much trouble, stripped the bathroom completely, boarded the floor in readiness for tiling, fitted spots lights in the ceiling, boxed pipes in before installing bath, toilet, sink, towel rail and bathroom cabinet. All finished off beautifully, very professional and in good humour, meticulous with all the finer details, all achieved with the minimum of fuss and cleaned and kept tidy when finishing every evening. I have had an old boiler replaced with a combi boiler requiring relocation of boiler and removal or an immersion heater and cold water tank. An en-suite shower and a separate bathroom were also totally refurbished with full tiling to floors and walls and new sanitary ware. Both rooms also got new floors and suspended ceilings. Adam and his team were excellent craftsmen, a specialist tiler and ‘sealer’ were brought in but the bulk of the work was done by Adam and Jason to an exceptional standard. All the workmen, especially Adam and Jason were punctual, courteous and very professional. The work was on schedule and to budget despite some supply issues. The level of tidiness/ cleanliness was excellent with my carpets well protected and a vacuum and clean up every night. I would recommend Adam and his team to anyone wanting a first-class job completed in an exemplary way.

We used ADS Plumbing to move a radiator. I struggled to find a plumber at short notice and ADS Plumbing were responsive to messages and did their best to fit us in, which I was very grateful for just before Christmas. The plumber arrived on time, he had an apprentice with him. They were polite and courteous. The work was carried out with efficiency and they explained everything they were doing. There encountered a slight issue which was dealt with straight away. The work was done to an excellent standard. All mess was cleaned up and the room was left exactly as it was found. We straight away felt at ease with Adam. He listened to the various issues concerning us and explained clearly how he would tackle them. As he completed parts of the job so he showed us how to use new apparatus he had installed. He advised us that new parts would be of benefit but were not essential, but he didn’t press us to spend the extra money. In all, he serviced our gas boiler; replaced the burner seal and cleaned the heat exchanger; supplied and installed the flow and return pipes; supplied and installed a replacement time switch.

I had a problem, intermittent at first, with noise in the pipes after flushing the toilet/turning on taps. Was unable to turn stopcock on/off. Adam attended at agreed time. Investigated the problem, explained as he went along what he was doing/why/possible causes etc. Made good the stop cock. Checked the pressure and corrected it. At all times was careful and considerate of removing boots etc when entering my house and very polite and helpful and happy to explain in easy terms. We first used Adam when we had an issue with our oil boiler, after being without hot water or heating for a week and after getting messed around by others he came out the same day. He managed to fix our boiler and fix some set up problems. We then used them to lay a new oil pipe and fit our downstairs bathroom a few months later. We had our whole central heating system completely refitted. New boiler, radiators and pipes. Adam was incredibly helpful and reasonably priced. He gave great advice on what systems would be best and gave suggestions whilst also listening to what we wanted. Adam and his team were really friendly and efficient. They came on Tuesday morning and were finished on Wednesday late afternoon. The work was quick but the quality of the work was brilliant. The pipe work is very neat and they managed to fit the new system with minimal disruption to the house. Overall we are incredibly happy with the job and would definitely recommend ADS Engineering for any Central heating work needed.

Adam of ADS was the only one of the 5 Which Trusted Traders within a 10 mile radius of our house who was prepared to survey and fit a new boiler immediately after ours was written-off by our maintenance company. He gave excellent advice and they did a great job – in spite of the difficult location, a gas pipe that needed replacing and disturbed debris that blocked a pipe to downstairs radiators. Adam's communications by email and phone were immediate and helpful - a joy to deal with!. We now have a 10 year guarantee so no need for an expensive maintenance contract plus gas savings from a more efficient boiler to look forward to.

ADS Engineering completed a comprehensive renovation project at our home following a kitchen fire in June 2017. This included removal and reinstatement of all ceilings downstairs, a full bathroom and kitchen refit, tiled floors, new shower room to the first floor, complete renewal of plumbing including boiler, radiators and pressurised water tank, creation of three new rooms downstairs and alteration of firstfloor bedrooms, replacement doors and cupboards and decorating throughout. All the work has been carried out to a very high standard. Damian, Jason and Adam worked with us throughout the whole project and kept in close contact especially when making decisions about fixtures and finishings. They took on board all our ideas and followed them through guiding us with their expertise as and where required. We valued their approachable, friendly and practical approach to tasks. They kept us informed, engaged, motivated and upbeat during what was a very traumatic time for our family.

I have had several jobs completed by ADS. Initially dicnnecting an oil boiler from inside my property and then reconnecting a new outside oil boiler . This also involved building a new base for a new outside oil tank. The last job was the reciting of my master bedroom en suite. They fitted a new bath, bidet, toilet and shower plus double sink unit. Both jobs were done to budget , on time and in a most professional manner. They worked to the highest standards on both occasions.

ADS replaced my boiler. All work was done quickly with the minimum of fuss, they worked long hours to ensure it was completely quickly. Carpets had to be taken up and they were expertly replaced, you would never had known they had been in the house. Very impressed.

Refit to a domestic en-suite bathroom in our home. The work was a complete re-design and refit to the bathroom, completed on time and to a high standard. The room was left tidy and clean each night. The workers were polite and helpful, with dust sheets provided for their access ways. They were also helpful in the choice of fittings and layout. They will be carrying out a refit to a ground floor cloakroom in the next few weeks.
