Metropolitan Plumbing Ltd is a local, independent business specialising in plumbing & heating.
I am a fully trained engineer that started off as an apprentice for Barnet Council.
With over ten years of 24hr call out, general maintenance and installation experience, I decided to start this company. Now fully operational the company contracts for the council, housing associations, landlords, private home owners and major contractors on and off site.
Based in North London but open to cover most of Greater London.
We understand the importance of training when it comes to plumbing & heating work. That is why we hold the following qualifications to ensure that the job is done right:

We get a Powerflush done every year as suggested by most heating engineers to keep our radiators in good working order. Our previous plumber has retired, so we took a chance and tried a new company. I’m really happy that we did, because Metropolitan Plumbing were excellent. We will continue to use them for all of our plumbing and heating needs.

Jen in the office was great, really friendly and efficient. Trevor visited our house due to a boiler fault and had it fixed that same day. No surprises upon invoicing. We would recommend them to friends and family - good plumbers are hard to come by !!

Had a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink that was causing a real headache. Called in the morning and a plumber was with us that afternoon. The problem was fixed quickly and everything was left clean and tidy. Excellent service.

My boiler stopped working and showed an error. I emailed ten companies on here and this company were the first to respond, and every email I sent got a quick response within less than an hour, even at 9pm. They send you a link to track your engineer when they're on their way, and although the tracking stopped before they arrived, it was still really helpful. The engineer didn't manage to fix the fault the first time, that is, the fault returned 7 hours later, but they then were happy to come back the very next day and replace the pump. The boiler now works perfectly. The engineer was very professional and knowledgeable. The invoice firstly included 2 hours of labour, but when I queried it and said the first hour hadn't solved the problem, they reduced it to 1 hour. So I'm very happy and would use them again.

Shower pipe was blocked and water not draining at all. Came within a couple of hours and sorted the problem quickly and efficiently. Not a huge or difficult job, but was impressed by the company’s communication and professionalism. No hesitation in recommending them.
