We had such a great experience with AC Wilgar start to finish. Billy himself came to do the initial survey. He gave us lots of advice and guidance and answered all our questions. After his visit came a clear quote and timelines. And fyi he's also just a lovely friendly guy! The installation team deserve a big shout out. We had quite a big job lasting a few days. They always turned up on time, explained everything they were going to do each day, checked with us on the positioning of all the units and suggested the best way to trunk to keep everything looking good. They held up heavy units for me in different positions to help me decide on placement! Bless them they did everything they could to help the whole process. They were neat and tidy and professional at all times and were working outside on really hot days so it was tough. They finished on time staying late the last day so that we had everything working. A big thankyou to Andy and young Billy plus Gary and Zac. And the final outcome - fantastically effective air con that is quite honestly I think going to be one of the best things we've done in the house. Thankyou AC Wilgar!

I was very pleased with work that I had done. The engineer was very good and thorough, he had to replace a new part for the boiler and hot water system. He tested everything to make sure it was working and the job was done very well and to a high standard.

We had been looking to have air con installed and had several people over to quote. When AC Wilgar came over, it was Billy Wilgar himself. He was so easy to talk to and answered questions we had, and even ones we didn’t know we needed to ask. The quote was quick and clear, and they answered all the questions we had. From there the installers were personable and really helpful. They worked professionally and were really nice. The full installation felt so easy and all done in a day. We had an external unit and three internal units installed. From there, the team made sure everything was perfect before any questions about final payments. And Billy even dropped in to make sure we were satisfied and addressed any questions we had and made sure everything was perfect. Overall the AC Wilgar team were lovely and professional, and the finish was superb. I would recommend them to anyone. And the AC has been a game changer for us!! Thanks Billy

Thank you for responding quickly to our emergency, in which the central heating header tank was leaking. The engineer who attended (Reece) gave us a quick and matter-of-fact diagnosis which allayed our worries about the consequences. He cured the immediate problem but has yet to install a new tank and carry out other work to make the system watertight and get it working again. We have every faith that he will do so in the same efficient and friendly manner.

AC Wilgar installed air conditioning in our main bedroom. We were concerned about doing this as ours is a period property and we didn’t want an unsightly aircon unit spoiling the frontage. However from the beginning we felt reassured by Billy that a solution was possible. The installation process by Andy and Ethan was seamless - knowledgable, helpful and flexing to our requirements wherever possible. We are delighted with the results, you would hardly know from outside that aircon has been installed. The unit itself is far quieter than we had expected, and works scarily well! All in all a very positive experience. I would use AC Wilgar again and recommend them.

The boiler at my Mothers property stopped working, which was a major problem as she has terminal Cancer and is constantly cold (even in summer). I carried out an internet search for local boiler repairs and A C Wilgar appeared with good reviews. Gave them a call and explained the problem. Just over 4 hours later a technician arrived at the door (Connor). At just over 4 hours and 15 minutes from the initial call the heating was back on. Can't really get much better than that. Excellent service and Connor is a star.

All of a sudden my vaillent combi-boiler produced no hot water and cold radiators. My wife and I have been with Wilgars for a good number of years and it took only a short phone call to arrange an emergenccy call. At 75 I do not try and be a tradesman especially dealing with a boiler in my loft.An engineer called that evening and discovered the fault and although making the system function said that if the same thing happened again to call and it will be sorted. True to his guess the fault reoccured and thanks to the effort made by Marie we secured a first vist . My wife and I are both grateful for the speed and efficiecy displayed by Marie and the engineer Gary and have no difficulty in recommend the staff and skill of Wilgar's employees.

Boiler developed a water leak, Jack visited next day. Jack showed me how to temporarily turn off the water but maintain central heating. Part ordered and delivered a few days later, the repair was completed today. The girls in the office had phoned or emailed to advise what was happening and when. I have the highest praise for everyone involved. Many thanks to you all.

We are an old couple (86 & 84) waking to no central heating or hot water in winter, albeit on a particularly mild day for the date (9 December). A familiar face from the firm was with us within less that 3 hours, the fault detected and fixed within another half an hour. If that isn't five star service I don't know what is. Quite exceptional!

We had two air conditioning units installed in September and were delighted. Everything was done as planned, and the engineers worked long hours to complete the job in one day, which minimised disruption for us. They arrived at the agreed time, arranged their schedule around ours, were pleasant and friendly and left the house clean and tidy. The experience couldn't have been better. We chose AC Wilgar because we were very pleased with how they installed our new boiler in 2023, since we have had a contract with them. Engineers have visited twice under that contract, for minor plumbing jobs, and we have been very pleased with the speed of response and the efficient way the jobs have been completed.

From start to finish the overall service was excellent, AC Wilgar came to do a boiler repair it was a bank holiday weekend, I had just come home from holiday to a broken boiler, This was the first time I had used the company and they were fantastic, clean, tidy and efficient a bonus being they were £300 cheaper than other quotes I had, I would 100% recommend this company to everyone!
