Gary arrived on time (having texted to say he was en route), knew exactly what he was doing, and got on with the job. And he’s a really friendly person. What more could you want? And within 10 minutes I’d received a Service Completion Certificate showing what had been done and the readings that had been taken. Very pleased.

On behalf of myself and my Mum, we want to thank A C Wilgar for their kind, considerate and prompt response to the breakdown of my mum's boiler and the subsequent replacement with a new boiler. My mum is recovering from a stay in hospital and having a reliable heating system is essential. Wilgar went above and beyond in sending engineers so promptly, including out of hours, to ensure that she wasn't left in a cold house. Special thanks to Ben Gates, the engineer who replaced the boiler, for his kind and considerate manner and for ensuring the installation went smoothly and successfully. We would highly recommend A C Wilgar to anyone considering a new boiler or wanting a company to maintain and service their central heating system.

We are platinum support customers of A C Wilgar and have had our boiler supplied, fitted and now serviced by the company. The engineer arrived perfectly within the given time window, and he was friendly, efficient and clean. Once he was shown where the boiler was, we felt confident in leaving him to work alone. While performing, he recorded every aspect of the checks he made with accompanying photos, which was very useful and allowed me to see what had been completed once he had finished as well as clarifying some aspects of what was being tested and why. Professional and polite engineer serviced our gas boiler. All very tidy, checked the radiators and bled one. Showed how the remote thermostat can be overridden if it is not working. Service done as part of an annual plan, and we have used Wilgar's for many years now for their reliability and quality work. The engineer said that if he had his own business, he would run it the way Mr Wilgar does. Highly recommended, and competitively priced.

It was time for Wilgar to service our boiler today, which they fitted five years ago. All checks were spot on specifications, which was reassuring, and also reassuring was that our very friendly engineer had the full service record on his iPad; he knew which colleagues had carried out the previous works. My 11-year-old British gas boiler broke beyond repair, along with a leaking water cylinder. Called AC Wilgar for a quote, Billy came over on Tuesday for a quote, and a new Worcester combi boiler was fitted the next day! Andy and Nathan came to fit it, started at 8 am finished the same day at about 6 o'clock. I could not fault the service from AC Wilgar. the engineers were on time, courteous throughout, and very tidy. The pipework is so neat, wow. Billy followed up by calling to make sure everything is working, I will not be going elsewhere for heating and plumbing and will be recommending their service and competitive price, keep up the good work, well done, and thank you so much.

This was the first service of a new system commissioned in January 2023 from a company I had not used before but had received good recommendation. A text and email invited me to book the service online. The process was quick, simple and user-friendly. The appointment was confirmed by email; the engineer was named. A text the evening before gave me a time-slot for the visit. A text gave me a 10-minute warning of arrival. The engineer was very professional; explained what he was doing and protected work surfaces and fixtures. He got on with the job; did not chat unnecessarily. Overall - an excellent experience.

This afternoon I had my boiler serviced by Joe Wiggett, a service engineer from Wilgar’s. Joe arrived on time, he serviced my boiler and he explained what he was doing throughout the visit. During the service he identified a fault which needed to be repaired. After he had left he spoke to his office and Wilgar’s rang me within an hour to book another engineer for tomorrow to make the repair. Joe’s work and Wilgar’s service were excellent and Joe’s prompt action enabled me to get the repair completed within the boilers warranty. I couldn’t have asked for more.
