Having had A&D Roofing to complete the same work 20 years ago I had no hesitation in calling them back to instal 2 new flat roofs when they needed replacing. I should also say that during their life-span the roofs have been completely fine with no problem whatsoever experienced. A&D Roofing are quick to respond and provide a quote swiftly. I can’t recommend Adrian and David Lee highly enough, they’ve restored my faith in trades people. After getting ripped off by a previous roofer, I was nervous about getting someone in to address both my leaking extension flat roof and bay window roof. Both were leaking badly and I was running out of buckets to catch the drips. My initial call was responded to very quickly followed by a site visit. As I suspected both roofs needed replacing and I was talked through my options re lead or rubber replacements and the price for each. We agreed the work to be undertaken which was quickly followed up with the arrival of scaffolding. Both roofs were replaced in 2 days and the schedule and budget were spot on. I found Adrian and David (and Mick the scaffolder) to be helpful, pleasant and respectful. They worked efficiently taking only one break each day for lunch. The work has been carried out to a high standard and all debris has been removed. From (my) nervous start to finish, this has been a positive experience and a good job well executed by trustworthy professionals who know how to mend things properly. When I discovered a leak in my roof, they came out straight away and completed a temporary repair as I was going on holiday. Date agreed when they would complete the work and this was kept. Reassured me throughout the repair and the job was completed professionally. Would recommend to others.

Work was conducted in a professional manner to a high standard. At the end of each day, Adrian and David gave me an update on progress and what would be happening next. They were also able to fit in a couple of extra urgent repairs at the side of the house for an agreed additional fee. Very satisfied with their workmanship and would recommend to others.

I discovered two leaks coming in via the roof and the chimney stack upon decorating a house I'd just bought (the leaks weren't apparent during the summer when the surveyor went round). A roofer who was supposed to be fixing it for me never turned up, and then cancelled outright. Others didn't return my calls, and the couple that did turn up seemed sketchy at best. When I spoke with Adrian he told me they were busy (this was right before Christmas) so couldn't do the work immediately, though could atleast drop by and tell me what the issue was etc. When they came round it was obvious straight away they were great guys and know exactly what they're doing. A few weeks later they were able to do the repairs, replied to all my texts and phone calls promptly, sent me pics of the work as they were doing it, got everything done and cleaned up, and charged a fair market rate, even advising me not to do things they didn't deem necessary. If I ever need any roofing or building done in the future they will be my go-to guys. Couldn't recommend them highly enough, they gave me peace of mind when I was in a temporary state of panic!

After having been badly let down by another roofer whose work on our sun lounge roof was sub-standard and who stopped answering phone calls and texts, we were looking for a reliable and trustworthy business that would rectify the problems. From the moment I telephoned to arrange for an assessment right through to the completion of the work, I have to say that I could not fault A and D Roofing. Adrian and Dave came to the house at the time arranged and gave me advice as to what needed doing. They were friendly and very knowledgeable and provided me with a written quotation. They did not try to suggest any unnecessary work and I felt confident that I could trust their advice. Adrian and Dave kept me informed of when scaffolding would be erected and when they would start the work. They were very courteous, quiet and tidy and the work was completed on schedule. The previous roofer had broken two rosemary tiles on the house wall and Adrian and Dave went to the trouble of trying to find tiles to match and replaced these at no extra cost. We are very pleased with the quality of the roof, the price quoted and the professional standards of Adrian and Dave, and would have no hesitation in using and recommending A & D Roofing in the future.

Adrian and David gave us a quote for the above work and a timescale when it would be started. They arrived on time worked hard and completed the work to a very high standard. They left everything very clean and tidy each day and kept us informed on a daily basis. I was very happy with their work and would highly recommend them.

I requested a quote from A&D roofing as they were local to me, they arranged a mutually convenient time. They arrived on time and gave me 3 options for the work all of which were priced separately and explained every option in detail, all prices were very reasonable. I chose the fibreglass roof option and was assured that the price quoted was guaranteed. Dates were agreed when the work would be done and they duly turned up on time. All the work was started on time, finished on time and carried out professionally and to a very high standard. Adrian and David were really friendly and went about their work with minimum fuss any questions I had were explained quite readily they described the different stages of the job and what they would be doing. All waste was taken away as soon as the job was finished. I would recommend this company to anyone who wanted a first class job doing.

A local roofer investigating a leak in my roof told me that I needed a new roof and gave me an instant quote. Given the scale of the potential commitment, I searched Which? Trusted Traders and contacted A and D Roofing. Adrian and David came and carried out an assessment, gave me an explanation of what needed doing and why, and the relative urgency of each part, with an itemised cost. Importantly, they also told me what didn't need doing (new roof!) I felt confident of their expertise and integrity from the start. I engaged them to check and repair the area which was damaged – replacing laths, felt and broken tiles as necessary, and to re-lead the flashing around the chimney. I also asked them to replace the ridge tiles, several of which were showing signs of mortar breaking away or already missing, and finally to repoint a chimney, which was similarly showing its age. A and D provided written confirmation of agreed work and cost. Adrian and David were polite, reliable and conscientious throughout and provided informative progress reports daily. The work coincided with storms Dudley, Eunice and Franklin, disrupting their schedule, yet they were never tempted to rush the job to catch up. I have no reason to doubt that the work was completed to a high standard. The price was reasonable and exactly as quoted. I was handed with the invoice on completion of the work, paid by BACS the same day and received a text confirming receipt shortly afterwards. Highly recommended.

After getting quotes from several companies to repair a leaking roof I was given a number of competing options and conflicting advice. Adrian took the time to discuss the pros and cons of the various options so I could decide and make sense of it all. I really felt comfortable with him and felt that I could trust what he said. The price he quoted was more reasonable and it became clear he knew what he was talking about and would do a thorough, quality job. He clearly wanted to do the best job, being unwilling to cut corners. He was helpful and treated me with respect answering my questions and concerns fully (both in person and by text message) and putting me at ease. The installation was completed quickly but thoroughly and the team worked hard with only short breaks. They kept me informed and then cleaned and tidied thoroughly. leaving me with a roof that looked great and was accompanied by a 25 year guarantee. Adrian replaced all the timbers in my shed rather than trying to make do with already rotting existing timbers. He specified the appropriate grade and type of Topseal roof for the shed and different grade and type to fix the concrete roof on the garage. The job looks great with no sign of any leaks following heavy rain since. They completed the work ahead of schedule and on budget. Unable to comment on after-care so far.

A and D Roofers have today completed a total replacement of a large flat roof. Both Sam and Dave were friendly, polite and professional throughout the work. We had total confidence and trust in their ability to do a quality job. They completed on time and to the agreed price. We are more than happy with the result and would gladly recommend them. Great service from first contact to looking at job. Advised on different options for roof as we had no idea. They were very reasonably priced and even took down an old covering for us! Great guys, tidied up every evening, very polite and considerate. Would recommend and use again.

I had A&D roofing to replace my flashing a couple of years back and they did a great job so I had no hesitation in asking them for a quote when I decided to have my dry verges, facia and gutters replaced. The guys have done a fantastic job and I was really pleased when they said they could fit me in ahead of schedule. They worked through attrotcious conditions to ensure they got the job done before Christmas and were absolutely professional throughout. Their quote was competitive and their work was top quality. Chimney stack was removed and the roof area tiled. They worked professionally and conscientiously in poor weather and to an excellent standard. They even rebedded a couple of ridge tiles which was not a part of the requested work.

New fibreglass roof on kitchen extension completed. Took 3 days and advised at all times what they would be doing. Competitive price but regardless, had seen their work already and knew it would be a good job. Tidied around themselves as they worked. Very personable guys, reliable and prompt. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again for any future works.

I found this company in Trusted Trader and I can highly recommend them. They came out when they said they would to inspect the problem and also to carry out the work. I don't think they're the cheapest but you're paying for quality and professionalism and that's what matters.
