Work was conducted in a professional manner to a high standard. At the end of each day, Adrian and David gave me an update on progress and what would be happening next. They were also able to fit in a couple of extra urgent repairs at the side of the house for an agreed additional fee. Very satisfied with their workmanship and would recommend to others.

I discovered two leaks coming in via the roof and the chimney stack upon decorating a house I'd just bought (the leaks weren't apparent during the summer when the surveyor went round). A roofer who was supposed to be fixing it for me never turned up, and then cancelled outright. Others didn't return my calls, and the couple that did turn up seemed sketchy at best. When I spoke with Adrian he told me they were busy (this was right before Christmas) so couldn't do the work immediately, though could atleast drop by and tell me what the issue was etc. When they came round it was obvious straight away they were great guys and know exactly what they're doing. A few weeks later they were able to do the repairs, replied to all my texts and phone calls promptly, sent me pics of the work as they were doing it, got everything done and cleaned up, and charged a fair market rate, even advising me not to do things they didn't deem necessary. If I ever need any roofing or building done in the future they will be my go-to guys. Couldn't recommend them highly enough, they gave me peace of mind when I was in a temporary state of panic!

After having been badly let down by another roofer whose work on our sun lounge roof was sub-standard and who stopped answering phone calls and texts, we were looking for a reliable and trustworthy business that would rectify the problems. From the moment I telephoned to arrange for an assessment right through to the completion of the work, I have to say that I could not fault A and D Roofing. Adrian and Dave came to the house at the time arranged and gave me advice as to what needed doing. They were friendly and very knowledgeable and provided me with a written quotation. The previous roofer had broken two rosemary tiles on the house wall and Adrian and Dave went to the trouble of trying to find tiles to match and replaced these at no extra cost. We are very pleased with the quality of the roof, the price quoted and the professional standards of Adrian and Dave, and would have no hesitation in using and recommending A & D Roofing in the future.

Adrian and David gave us a quote for the above work and a timescale when it would be started. They arrived on time worked hard and completed the work to a very high standard. I requested a quote from A&D roofing as they were local to me, they arranged a mutually convenient time. They arrived on time and gave me 3 options for the work all of which were priced separately and explained every option in detail, all prices were very reasonable. I chose the fibreglass roof option and was assured that the price quoted was guaranteed. Dates were agreed when the work would be done and they duly turned up on time. All the work was started on time, finished on time and carried out professionally and to a very high standard. A local roofer investigating a leak in my roof told me that I needed a new roof and gave me an instant quote. Given the scale of the potential commitment, I searched Which? Trusted Traders and contacted A and D Roofing. Adrian and David came and carried out an assessment, gave me an explanation of what needed doing and why, and the relative urgency of each part, with an itemised cost. Importantly, they also told me what didn't need doing (new roof!) I felt confident of their expertise and integrity from the start. I engaged them to check and repair the area which was damaged – replacing laths, felt and broken tiles as necessary, and to re-lead the flashing around the chimney. I also asked them to replace the ridge tiles, several of which were showing signs of mortar breaking away or already missing, and finally to repoint a chimney, which was similarly showing its age. A and D provided written confirmation of agreed work and cost. Adrian and David were polite, reliable and conscientious throughout and provided informative progress reports daily. The work coincided with storms Dudley, Eunice and Franklin, disrupting their schedule, yet they were never tempted to rush the job to catch up. I have no reason to doubt that the work was completed to a high standard. The price was reasonable and exactly as quoted. I was handed with the invoice on completion of the work, paid by BACS the same day and received a text confirming receipt shortly afterwards. Highly recommended.

After getting quotes from several companies to repair a leaking roof I was given a number of competing options and conflicting advice. Adrian took the time to discuss the pros and cons of the various options so I could decide and make sense of it all. I really felt comfortable with him and felt that I could trust what he said. The price he quoted was more reasonable and it became clear he knew what he was talking about and would do a thorough, quality job. He clearly wanted to do the best job, being unwilling to cut corners. He was helpful and treated me with respect answering my questions and concerns fully (both in person and by text message) and putting me at ease. The installation was completed quickly but thoroughly and the team worked hard with only short breaks. They kept me informed and then cleaned and tidied thoroughly. leaving me with a roof that looked great and was accompanied by a 25 year guarantee. Adrian replaced all the timbers in my shed rather than trying to make do with already rotting existing timbers. He specified the appropriate grade and type of Topseal roof for the shed and different grade and type to fix the concrete roof on the garage. The job looks great with no sign of any leaks following heavy rain since. They completed the work ahead of schedule and on budget. Unable to comment on after-care so far.

A and D Roofers have today completed a total replacement of a large flat roof. Both Sam and Dave were friendly, polite and professional throughout the work. We had total confidence and trust in their ability to do a quality job. They completed on time and to the agreed price. We are more than happy with the result and would gladly recommend them. I had A&D roofing to replace my flashing a couple of years back and they did a great job so I had no hesitation in asking them for a quote when I decided to have my dry verges, facia and gutters replaced. The guys have done a fantastic job and I was really pleased when they said they could fit me in ahead of schedule. They worked through attrotcious conditions to ensure they got the job done before Christmas and were absolutely professional throughout. Their quote was competitive and their work was top quality. Chimney stack was removed and the roof area tiled. They worked professionally and conscientiously in poor weather and to an excellent standard. They even rebedded a couple of ridge tiles which was not a part of the requested work.

New fibreglass roof on kitchen extension completed. Took 3 days and advised at all times what they would be doing. Competitive price but regardless, had seen their work already and knew it would be a good job. Tidied around themselves as they worked. Very personable guys, reliable and prompt. Whilst they were working on the roof of one of my neighbours house, I spoke to Adrian of A & D, asked him to give me a quote to replace my roof and repair my chimney. He gave me the quote and although he was not the cheapest, I decided to use A & D, as I had seen the quality of their work. Adrian contacted me shortly after and told me when the scaffolding would arrive. They started work the next day and worked continuously for four days, even though the weather was bad and it was exceptionally cold, stopping only to eat, They completed the job, cleaned up, removed the scaffolding and when it came time to pay him, Adrian told me that there had been no need to make repairs to the chimney, so, saving me the cost of that job. I would recomend A & D to my friends and family with no qualms, they are not the cheapest but they do a supeb job. Thank you Adrian and Dave, Merry Christmas.

A & D sorted out my leaking roof gulley that was previously bodged . They explained the repair fully and charged a very fair rate for the work. My neighbours are also using their services - I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I selected A&D Roofing to undertake a significant re-roofing project on our Grade II listed building after they helped me navigate the pitfalls of the Listed Building consent process (which was granted first time!). They undertook the work in a professional and courteous manner and kept me informed on progress on a weekly basis including where the inclement British weather caused a delay. The resulting works look great and in keeping with the character of the building. A big thanks to Adrian and Dave for all their hard work and the great photographs of the old ship parts used in the construct of the original trusses! I would not hesitate to recommend A&D Roofing especially if you have a project which requires a sympathetic touch.

Adrian and Dave reroofed 2 x bay window roofs with new slate and lead and repaired a leaking gulley to the main roof, replacing timbers and lead. The work was carried out when planned and finished in a timely but unrushed manner. The bay window roofs look fabulous and will hopefully last many decades on our 150yr old house. The invoice was as agreed at the outset with no hidden costs. The garden has been completely cleared of debris and the scaffolding was removed quickly at the end of the job. We would not hesitate to use A&D Roofing & Building again and definitely recommend them. They are a professional, honest and hardworking team.
